When is the next one I will be there It was great the person with me had never been to a blues show and they were amazed. I am a fan!
I HAD A GREAT TIME AT THIS EVENT. THE MC (BIG MAC) WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE EVENING ALONG WITH BOBBY RUSH! GREAT PERFORMANCE!
Overall the concert was well run. Wait time between acts was very minimal. Enjoyed the fact that there was enough acts to get your money worth. Kind of disappointed in the vocals. Mic were not clear and the music overshowered the vocals.
This was an excellent concert; looking forward to next year.
The overall of the concert was great, I think the artistes could have sang more songs and a little longer.

Concert was good. the tribute was to long n majority of presentations didn't belong. Bobby rush was the bomb. first few acts rushed n u culd tell they were trying to make it happen
I enjoyed all the artist they were great. I really loved Shirley Brown she always tell it like it is. so all u men and women u better listen to the words. LOVED THE SHOW, ALL THAT.
The festival was a one in a life time event and it was totally awesome!

The show was good just would like Sir Charles to sing his song through instead of talkin so much.He has so much talent but he waste it not singing and talkin too much
This show was just a great combination of all my Favorite Blues artist. I definitely will be back!
The show was very good until the last act...Millie should have been a opening act. She was not worth the price of admission.
This ANNUAL MEMPHIS TRI-STATE FESTIVAL was on e of the best ever. I'm glad I went ,the show was great I didn't sit in my seat every long at all, that's what I love about the BLUE FEATIVAL. IT WAS GREAT GREAT GREAT I TELL YOU.
The concert was fantastic!!! Each performer gave stellar performances. I particulary liked Shirley Brown, Latimore, Willie Clayton and OB Buchanan. You definately got your moneys worth with this lineup!!! The seating in the upper level was horrible- the view wasn't bad but there was no leg room at all! You didn't want to get up to go get refreshments because people sitting on the same row as you would have to stand up to let you by, that is just how little room there was. Next time we go to Desoto Civic Center we will buy floor seats.
The show was awesome. Everything I expected. All entertainers did a great job. I can hardly wait until next year.
My 1st time attending the Tri-State Blues Festival (Southaven/Memphis knows how to party)! OB jammed and got the party started right! Latimore came with his classics right after a touching tribute to the legend Mr. Marvin Sease. Bobby Rush & Shirley Brown brought the blues as only they could! (stories we all could relate too!) Sir Charles Jones rose high i the sky with his captivating opening entrance WOW! Willie Clayton clean to the max in all white made sure the ladies of Memphis knew his name "What's my name!!!' Wille!!! All the ladies screamed!!! Ms Mille Jackson such a class act, she gave it too us raw and uncut! If you've never been to the Tri-State Blues Festival you're missing out, make plans to attend the biggest blues party in Southhaven, MS in 2012!!!!!
I will definitely attend this event every year, as long as Sir Charles Jones is performing! Enjoyed most of the other performers, did NOT enjoy Millie Jackson singing ROCK at a Blues show??? Missing you Marvin, Rest in PEACE!
We had some of the best seats in the house (and this was at last minute). I would have loved more of Bobby Blue Bland and Clarence Carter. I also think the "youngest blues singer" should have stayed with singing more Tyrone Davis. He started us then left the stage. All in all GREAT show!!!
