Very good show all the way around, Pat Travers new CD is awsome. Kenny was great as always in concert.
Thoroughly enjoyed concert KWS & band were outstanding. I love their music and puts on a great show. The way Kenny plays is head and shoulders above all others and I so enjoy watching him play. The two opening bands, Trambled Under Foot were great and enjoyed Pat Travers Band too.
TUF & Kenny Wayne were awesome, did not like Pat Travers band being there. His instruments were too loud, couldn't understand his vocals. He played one Blues song, otherwise he was just a heavy metal band. We came to see Blues.
This concert was amazing. Enjoyed the Travers band but not as much blues as I would have liked. Kenny Wayne Shepherd was GREAT again! I have never seen anything but awesome shows from him. Really enjoyed it - and loved them jamming with TUF at the end. Sounded really good together.
The crowd was predominately over 50, which makes a great crowd for a show like this. They actually take their trash to a container.Kenny Wayne Shepard Band, Trampled Under Foot, and Pat Travers Band played their hearts out. Independence Events Center is a class act. I would like to see more shows of this kind there. I made the comment to my wife when we walked in, that all the men in the crowd looked like Bob Seger.
Liked it that almost all the seating was general admission...we found great seats and had an unobstructed view of the stage....Trampled Underfoot is a new favorite blues band...really liked them! Had never heard Pat Travers before but I liked the blues stuff they played...and haven't seen KWS in concert in a couple of years at least but they rocked like always! The venue was small and clean and you could drink $5 beers all night...it was a great show!
Trampled Under Foot was awesome! Danielle has an amazing voice. Kenny Wayne was fantastic also. Could have done without Pat Travers. They weren't really blues at all. Would love to see a show with just TUF and KWS. That would be excellent!
Wasn't a big fan, but now I am! Of all three bands, especially have followed TUF around this town of Blue Springs, MO and we've been fans for years!! Pat Travers can still rock the house! And KWS ~ wicked, wicked guitar! And the vocalist ~ they just go hand in hand!!
Kenny Wayne and vocalist Noah Hunt did not disappoint and played it all and then some. Trampled Under Foot, Pat Travers and Kenny Wayne Shepherd all gave great performances. I hope this becomes an annual event and grows into an actual blues fest.
Great venue, excellent music - definitely got my money's worth.
Trampled Under Foot and Kenny Wayne Shepard were awesome and it was spectacular when they played together. The beer tasting made it even better! Hope to do this again!
All three bands were fantastic - Trampled Under Foot was jamming. Pat Travers was rocking. Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band was unbelievable. Kenny, Noah and Double Trouble was crazy! What a time and all of only $40! I loved it!
The entire evening was outstanding. I had not seen Kenny Wayne Shepherd for years and was very glad I got to see him. I won't miss him again when a show is in or near Kansas City
the show was amazing, Trampled Under Foot started off with a bunch of blues that dont get much bluesier. Pat Travers then had his way with the fret board, kind of spanked it around a little bit. & then the closest thing-- we will ever see to Jimi Hendrix--Kenny Wayne Sheperd, & 4 his encore Trampled Under Foot came back 4 a little music sharing fun!!
Bought seats on floor, unsure of where they really were...imagine my surprise at 3rd row! Any seats would have been great for this arena. Not so big that you couldn't see anything, even from the back.
