Blue Man Group is best known for their wildly popular theatrical shows and concerts which combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to produce a totally unique form of entertainment. Although it is impossible to describe, people of all ages agree that Blue Man Group's show is an intensely exciting and wildly outrageous experience that leaves the entire audience in a blissful, euphoric state. Currently their theatrical shows can be seen in New York, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, Berlin, and on tour across the U.S.
We have always wanted to see Blue Man Group and I was glad that we finally went.It was very entertaining and funny at at times....They interact with the audience which is a lof fun! We had a really good time!
I have seen these amazingly talented guys 4 times!! 3 times in NYC and now in Rochester, NY. Although the Auditorium Theater did not provide the same affects as the Astor Theater, the Rochester show was just as exciting and entertaining!! The use of different effects made for a spectacular performance! I just wish they had more t-shirt selections and sizes available for fans to purchase before or after the show.
It was a great show! The only thing I didn't like was our seats were so far away I couldn't really see alot of it. I would definitely see them again if I could afford seats close. Just way too expensive. And we were packed like sardines. I would still recommend them as the show was still awesome.
The musical part was great and as expected. But, we were disappointed with how much time was wasted on a couple slapstick skits with the audience participation. While it was somewhat funny and appropriate for kids, it was not what we paid for.
I laughed and laughed and laughed some more. Sweet quirky fun. I'll be back to see them again.
Absolutely Terrific Show! It's great to laugh so much
I love these guys. I've seen them five times and, even though the show doesn't change much, it never gets old. The whole audience was roaring with laughter and swaying to the music. The finale with the big balls and toilet paper is a truly interactive experience. The show is appropriate for the very young, very old, and everyone in between. Regardless of age, you'll feel like a kid again.
BMG was the most fun I have had at this venue since moving to this area 12 years ago. Wife and I usually attend 1 or 2 shows a year there, would go to more but limited budget. Hope the audience guy who was made into a human paintbrush got to take his canvas home !
The show was amazing! Never a dull moment! Lots of audience participation. A really great evening of entertainment!
I really didn't know what to expect from a Blue Man Group show. A friend of mine was going, and was all excited. I thought that this was a show that I should definitely see, so bought tickets. It was a FUN show! I was lucky enough to be sitting twelve rows back, so I was able to participate in the last part of the show. What fun! I felt like a kid! It seemed as though I had stepped into a cartoon world, full of the color and lights. It was pretty darn fantastic! The paint with the drums was also awesome and fun. Do you see how the word fun keeps on coming up? So get out there, have some laughs, and have some fun!!!
Very slow pace! Some people were laughing at weird times not sure what they were laughing at. Waste of money!
It was a good show, mostly entertaining but sometimes slow and boring. It wasn't as funny as i had hoped but the music was good. I liked it enough, just didn't love it. Husband thought it was great except for the Twinkies part.
Didn't really know what to expect from Blue Man Group, but we were all pleasantly surprised. Interesting and very funny skits nestled in between unique musical numbers. Would definitely recommend.
This was my third time seeing the Blue man group in the past ten years. I love them to death and have a great time at every show. Unfortunately, I knew exactly what was coming at every turn. They have yet to update their shows and use the same material over and over. With that said, it's still a spectacle, especially for first time viewers.
Outstanding show and fantastic venue!!. We had a wonderful time after watching the show on TV years ago it was so exciting to see them live!
This was something I have wanted to see for 15 years! Worth the wait and entertaining the whole time! Much more interactive with the audience than i expected! Don't be late.....lol the poor couple that was probably regretted it! Fantastic!
We've seen them before, and as usual, they were extremely entertaining. We loved the smaller venue, much more personal. A bizarre experience that everyone should have.
The performance, while enjoyable for a first time event, was an exact repeat of the show we saw in March of 2014. I didn't expect it would be the same show when I purchased tickets. Unfortunately it was. So disappointed to have spent $240 on tickets to see a show we'd already seen. I'm a single mom and don't drop money on events like this often. They loved the show so much in 2014 that I was excited to treat them to it, not expecting, or knowing, it would be the same show. Ouch.
AWESOME SHOW...want to see them again. Venue was perfect.
We enjoyed this show as a family. Second time we have seen it, some new added in. Started taking our son at age 7. The show kept him engaged and laughing and curious! The performance is very well done and different from other shows we have seen! Highly recommend!
