Blue Man Group North American Tour Tickets

I have been to the Blue Man Group in Las Vegas and it is far superior. I feel I saw 1/2 a show and paid full price at the Pantages. Disappointed for sure.

I saw the show 15-20 years ago and remember it being cool and fun. I figured they must have made improvements over the years but boy was I wrong! The ONLY positive thing I can say about the show was that the pain was over after 90 minutes. The show is essentially the group banging on drums and blasting loud noise out of speakers for no purpose with short breaks in between where they tease the crowd that something interesting or exciting might actually happen...but it never does. I don't ever write reviews but I felt it my duty to save others from making the same mistake I did by going to this.

Very professional! Great play. Crowd participation equaled a success. I would of preferred more mature variety in the music and themes.

Show is a must do once. I enjoyed the music and lights more than the comedy in between.

I bought tickets for my husband’s birthday 🎂 We had a wonderful experience ! Blue Man group outdid themselves !

I had no idea what the Blue Men did in their shows but I know they've been around for years so they had to be good, right? I was very disappointed. Nothing they did ever climaxed into a really "wow" moment. When I thought they were going to work up to something cool, that bit ended with no pay off. It left me wondering how/why they've been around for so long.

The theater is beautiful...The Show was ridiculous, boring and stupid.

I LOVED the BMG show I saw about 17 years ago about how to do a rock show. Speechless was disappointing because it didn’t seem to have as much musical numbers and the funny stunts seemed limited too. I’m not sure what the 2 times they pulled audience member to the stage added to the performance. In fact, I think it ate up valuable time that could’ve been another musical number of PVC pipe percussion or cool stunts. I will not recommend this show. I took my niece and nephews ages 10-14 and they loved it. The will likely tell their friends of the fun they had. The 2 younger ones were laughing almost constantly which was nice to hear.

not sure what this show is actually doing. what am i watching? weird. and chaotic. will not recommend this show.

This was our first time seeing Blue Man Group and didn’t really know what to expect. We were totally surprised by the music, antics, mannerisms and how this group interacted with the audience. We’ve mentioned to all our friends, this is a must see event. Highly recommend to all ages.

Having seen them in other venues, this seemed like the smaller traveling version. The stage was massively set up with lots of visual stuff. But the Blue Man Group is famous for the sounds. These were much smaller wht instruments smaller in size and variety than I have ever seen in the past.

I had hesitated to see BMG in Vegas because I'd heard some tepid reviews. So, when I found out they were coming to Pantages, I thought, "Why not?" My husband had wanted to see them for years so I got the tickets. The whole show was thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end. It was funny and amazing. They did some great audience participation bits. The stage set up was incredible. Afterwards, the Blue Men came out into the theater lobby for pictures. It was one of the most fun and entertaining shows I've seen.

Obviously this has been around forever I’ve always wanted to see it and if I remember correctly this is the first time it’s come to my city. From previews and some others it sounded like something I would like but I must say I was a little disappointed maybe the hype is more than the actual show or the original show is better than this touring company not sure. The instruments and set are obviously creative and different but the little skits and audience participation sets were very underwhelming. Nowhere near as funny as I thought it was going to be . It just seems chaotic and random and not and even flow about the show

I have seen blue man before. about 13 years ago in Vegas and I LOVED IT. i was very disappointed when I saw the same jokes on stage. before the show we were remembering some of the jokes we saw at that last show, the one about someone being late, etc and we said 'of course they wont do it again today' and they did. some other old things also. they didnt do a big finale which was awesome and different I guess blue man is a 'one time show'. once you saw them, you got the experience and it wont be much different the second time.

It was a terrible show. Boring, repetitive. Better 10 yrs ago... I almost walked out halfway thru but hoped it would get better. It didnt.

It was opening night, and--after a visit to the ladies room before the show started--I was handed a pair of blue earplugs the second time I made my way into the theater. This was notably different than my first time entering to find my seat, and the fact that not everyone was receiving these was interesting enough, and when I asked "Why? Is this going to be very loud?" I was surprised that the reply was that it MIGHT be: they were not actually SURE since it was the first time they were doing the show. I got the distinct feeling that even the staff was curious as to how it would all turn out. I don't know if this may have clued me in to noticing things that seemed somewhat off, like some slight issues in timing or sound mix equalizing that otherwise might have gone unnoticed, but I did feel like there was a learning curve that hadn't quite maximized on the tech end throughout the show. While I didn't need the earplugs at all, some parts were leaving me itching for a knob to turn to boost the mid range or treble when the background sounds were seeming to swallow the melody of the main instruments entirely. The framing of the video projected on an arrangement of several large screen tvs was unfortunate, with the focal point happening to fall squarely in the negative space created by the gap between the sets: the camera followed a Blue Man interacting with the front row of the audience, framing the shot as it should be shown on a movie screen, but all we could see were audience members on the bottom row of screens from the neck down, and then the audience behind whatever was happening and a blue sliver of Blue Man's head on the top row of screens instead of the action as the camera was framing it, so I had no idea what was going on at all. At one point there seemed to be a lighting fail with a waterfall of ping pong balls cascading from the ceiling that none got to appreciate fully for the fact that we were immediately plunged into total darkness at the precise moment the balls hit the stage. Black light played a large role in the visuals of the evening overall, so I also wonder if there was supposed to be some uv effect here that would have lent a greater appreciation for the chaos of the bouncing and scattering that we could only hear in the dark. If it was NOT an accident, though, it was definitely a strange choice of lighting direction which didn't really work creatively at all. The same can be said of the piece involving some neon ropes being draped across the stage in what appeared to be a random mess rather than an interesting visual, which makes me wonder if something in the execution didn't go as planned. That sense was only heightened by the fact that these both occurred in the later part of the show leading up to the finale, which seemed a bit non-sequitur and abrupt, and consequently premature when it did end shortly after that. But it was still delightful, even though it seemed some bugs still needed to be worked out. I wanted more of the music, which was a fantastic exploration of percussion as a melody. I wouldn't mind seeing it again, if only to see if the show was supposed to be this way or if it was supposed to be something more spectacular that didn't execute. I also wonder if the subtle expressions of the performers aren't better served by a more intimate venue or even on video. Perhaps the Pantages is too large to fully appreciate something like this, which might be more effective in a smaller Cirque Du Soleil environment. I happily get to cross the Blue Men off of my "bucket list" now, but I already knew it would be my kind of show. Quirky and funny, both innocent and witty with a splash of satire - kind of like the concert version of "The Princess Bride" as a genre. I'd be happy to go again if only for the music alone. It could have done with even more of that, though, which would have made up for some of the awkward audience interaction lulls here and there.
