We love the Blue Man Group and we're excited to see their newest show. We were disappointed though when it was barely over an hour long, including several audience pieces that felt like filler. Overall it felt like a cheap, short impression of a Blue Man Group show rather than the real thing.
Blue Man Group are such talented percussionists! My favorite parts were when they interacted with the crowd. Loved their sense of humor and how they could get people to do what they wanted without saying a word. My 10yr old son had a great time!
Never saw BMG live before but them put on a helluva show. And I got called onstage to participate in the show!
My group and I didn’t enjoy, we left in the middle.
The Pantages was a great venue, stately and grand. The Blue Man Group was engaging, but it was a little disappointing. They did not do a lot of comedy. I've seen shows in which they are the stars based on their acting and expressions and skits. This show relied heavily on tech - lots of monitors, etc., and lots of percussions. They showcased their musical abilities more than their comedy interactions. This show was geared more towards younger audiences.
First time we see The Blue Man Group live. Show does not live up to the hype. Nothing special and definitely not worth the cover price to me.
Even without dialogue, this performance was funny, exciting and poignant. The visuals were AMAZING! And while the sound was loud, it fit the performance.
The show was enthralling, exhilarating, hilarious more than we could have imagined. Also, the venue its self was an extra special experience, the beauty of the theatre, attention to detail in the renovation was impressive. We are already planning the next event. Pricing will be a challenge, but we are doing our research to find affordable tickets for Wicked.
Seen Blue Man Group before many years ago and it was incredibly clever. This time it was terrible. It was not clever or sophisticated. No real thread or messages.
I have always wanted to see them in Vegas but never had the so when I heard they were touring and would be at Pantages I was excited! They didn’t disappoint and were very engaged in the audience with a lot of comedy, music, and lights! I would definitely recommend!
Blue man group was not funny or exciting or clever or innovative or relevant. It was a boring show and the men seemed to not have put much effort or thought into the event. Some bits were too long without payoff or a laugh. I would and could not recommend this show to anyone. I would like a refund, as i bought 4 tix, but know that wouldn't happen. Instead, I'm warning others not to waste their money on this show.
Not nearly as good as the original show. Much of the 90 minute show is just them walking around, sitting and looking at each other and the audience. Strange tangents (like stringing up the stage with plastic bands) lead to nothing. There's the drumming bit at the end, which I suppose is a nod to the original show, but it's just a dud of an event.
One of the funniest and best band experiences I've had. A little short, I had hoped they would play a little longer, but it was well worth it. I would like to see them again at the Pantages for more shows. Good seats, but we could use notification next time for how long the show would be.
Was disappointed with the show content. Was hoping to see more DRUMMING and less of the audience participation bits, which took up too much of the show. Seemed a bit disjointed and honestly missed the mark. Wished to see more of the crazy instruments they are famous for playing.
Very entertaining, creative, talented group.....Me and my granddaughter had a great time❤
Not at tall what I expected. I'm sure they are talented drummers and there were a few funny moments but there were also moments I was just waiting for it to be done. The people walking out behind us said "I'm not sure what that was or how to explain it". It was a lot of different drumming with some lights and a little audience participation. I won't call it a waste but I don't recommend.
We had seen the group perform in Vegas and that show was spectacular. This was not. There were several elements that didn't make sense like starting to do a stunt then not doing it because some people arrived late and instead they turned their attention to them while WE (the audience) would have rather seen the stunt. There wasn't as much audience participation and not fun without the big balloons and streams of paper, etc going into the crowd. It just lacked that WOW factor you got in Vegas. I'm sure some of it had to do with the Pantages and whatever restrictions they may have.a! We brought our 3 grandsons, 14, 16, 17 hoping they would love it but instead they thought it mediocre.
The show was entertaining overall. The humor was definitely geared toward children under 10.

I have seen Blue Man several times and they never disappoint. I found this show a little bit too long and repeititious and some of the "tricks" (string") sort of confusing. However audience interaction was great
