Garbage was awesome. Ms. Manson can bring it and Butch and Duke are phenomenal musicians. That said, Blondie was a bit of a disappointment. Didn't feel the energy like I did with Garbage. Wish Garbage had been the headliner.
I loved every minute of this concert! To be in the presence of such greatness was unforgettable. My first concert 21 years ago was Garbage opening for Smashing Pumpkins. They sound even better now and have the best energy. Blondie has always been one of my all time favorites, and seeing them "In The Flesh" exceeded my expectations.
Great concert, sound, lights etc, Finally got you see Garbage and it was worth the wait. Shirley was in great form and she strutted around the stage.
I gave this show 3 stars only because the main act was upstaged by the opener.Garbage was tight and most important,Shirley Mansons voice is fantastic.Debbie Harrys voice not so much.Thats not to say that Blondie sucked,on the contrary they were damn good. But since most of the focus is on the singer well.....There were times Debbie sounded great and other times that were a bit cringe-worthy.
Deap Vally was an excellent surprise opening the show. Love them! Garbage was as always intense and awesome! There is only one Shirley Manson, was so cool to see her husband checking things before they arrived on stage. The guys in the band never fail to rock out all the way, they are the best. We left before Blondie to drive back to Naples, had to work in the morning but I'm sure Debbie Harry and the band did well
Great show! Great time! Both bands put on a good show.
Blondie was amazing. For being 72 Debbie Harry was a firecracker. She danced, joked around and played the classics to the new album Pollinator. The band looked ancient except one of the guitarists but they all played well.
Amazing!!!! Flawless I might add. It is as if you are inside the music video and 3-D part of the experience. It is beyond how talented these bands are they really rocked it out.
Blondie was excellent, timeless music, just as good as it was in the 80's
What an amazing show. These women of rock are an inspiration. The men held their own, as well :) Great, great show!
The opening act was very mediocre, just a bunch of noise with too much bass. Garbage put on a very good show, as did Blondie. They had energy and sounded great. They also had a good rapport with the audience. I would have given the review 4 stars if the LIGHTS were not so distracting. I don't understand why there was a constant barrage of VERY BRIGHT lights flashed into the audience's eyes. It made it hard to enjoy the music to the fullest. We had to close our eyes for a good portion of both Garbage and Blondie because the lights were so irritating. And one of us still ended up with a migraine from the over-use of the lights. Now and then would have been fine, but it was really a bombardment and took away from the music.
Went more to see garbage and was quite impressed with Blondie 2 amazing bands
Garbage was amazing ! Sounded great! Blondie needs to retire.
This was the 3rd time seeing Blondie. She went over all the hits Heart of Glass, Call Me, Rapture and One Way or Another. She sounded great and looked great. Her back up band was awesome. The House of Blues is a great venue to see a concert esp because the sound is perfect. I was really impressed with Garbage this was the 1st time seeing them and they brought a lot of energy to the audience.
Wonderful!!! Both artists are still rocks. One of the best venues that I saw this summer. I would back to see them.
3 hours of incredible energy with adoring fans worshipping these legends in rock.
That was awesome, can't describe it, see Blondie after 30 years was like going back to the past, Garbage was fantastic too.
A must see tour. Great line up. I would see them again
It was an enjoyment to finally see a Garbage show; wonderful ! I saw Blondie a few time since a few years. This time was even better.
