About

blink-182 are one of the biggest mainstream rock crossover bands of the 21st century, sustaining multiple iterations to sell over 50 million albums worldwide and notch two No. 1 albums in two decades. Formed in 1992 by bassist Mark Hoppus, guitarist Tom DeLonge and drummer Scott Raynor, the pop punk pioneers became staples of their local San Diego scene as well as the Warped Tour circuit before breaking through with their sophomore effort Dude Ranch (1997). The Aquabats drummer Travis Barker took Raynor's place ahead of blink-182’s 1999 breakthrough, Enema of the State, and with this new core lineup, the group earned their first of eight Top 10 albums behind their first Hot 100-charting hits “What's My Age Again?” and “All the Small Things.” blink-182’s 2001 follow-up Take Off Your Pants and Jacket debuted atop the Billboard 200, while 2003’s self-titled album revealed a significant artistic shift on singles like “I Miss You,” which would top the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. Following a hiatus, the trio reconvened for 2011’s Neighborhoods before Alkaline Trio singer and guitarist Matt Skiba took over for DeLonge in 2015. 2016’s California became blink-182’s second No. 1 album, featured their first Gold single in over a decade, “Bored to Death,” and went on to score the group’s first Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album in 2017. The core lineup of Hoppus, DeLonge and Barker officially reunited in 2022, and ushered in their album One More Time… in October 2023.

great show they played all there hits. they sound like they did 5 years ago. and travis barker may well be the best drummer out there, his solo of the jay z song dirt off your shoulder was sick. who knows how long they are going to be around so go to this show and be happy you got to see one of the few great bands around

Blink rocked like it was 1999!

by ConcertMeech on 7/25/09The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Went to the Blink-182 show last night and got almost all that I expected. Those guys can still rock! Motion City Soundtrack was good but everyone was there to hear jokes about family members in compromising positions from the guys of Blink. Can still sense the tension between Mark/Travis & Tom but they still put on a great show! The new Joint is now the top spot to see any rock show! Great job HRH!

    Blink great...facility and opener NOT!

by AL13N on 7/25/09The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

show started at 8pm. The joint was not prepared for all the people getting in line so early. IT was GA...so 1st come first up front. we had to wait outside in 100 degree heat! I got there at 6pm, they let us in at 7pm to stand again. hot as hell inside tons of people. drinks way overpriced. Shows should be more prepared to change sets. They had two openers! 1st played for 25 minutes and SUCKED! IT was Chester French. Booed. Then wait for 30minutes more while they prepared 2nd opener. Motion City Soundtrack they were good. played another 30minutes. And then wait another 30 minutes to set up for blink. They didn't take stage until 10pm. that was ridiculous. My feet were killing me by then. They played until after midnite. They were great. But I was dying after standing for 6 hours straight. Then spent another 30 minutes trying to get out of parking garage. Show was great but facility needs better prep. Will never go to the Joint again.

    Blink-182 Reunion Concert

by MIMMan12 on 7/25/09The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Growing up with Blink music I had always wanted to see them in concert, but sadly the band went their separate ways before I could. When I heard that they were getting back together, and that they were going to Vegas, I finally got my chance. Blink-182 was absollutely amazing. They played well. and kept the crowd entertained with their banter between each other. Motion City Soundtrack was one of the bands that opened for them, and while I didn't really know much of their songs before I really like them after having seen them perform. The first opening band, Chester French, left something to be desired. Their songs weren't that great, and it seemed in order to make up for it the covered two famous songs. It makes you wonder if they did so to compensate for their own songs. Between their terrible songs, and the crowd booing them and flipping them off it makes one wonder how such a band was able to land a spot in a venue with Blink-182 and Motion City Soundtrack.

    blink-182 nailed it!

by anthem11 on 7/25/09The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

While it was a cheap move adding a second date BEFORE what was originally scheduled to be their first show (screwing over all the loyal fans who thought that they were buying ticked to the first reunion show ever, especially those who planned airfare an hotels aroun said concert) the show itself was amazing. The band had excellent stage presence and it was nice to see all three of them getting along after years of animosity. The set list was only okay, mainly focusing on the last two records which are not exactly the band's best. However, the handful of songs off of Dude Ranch and Cheshire Cat were the best performances I had ever heard the band perform. Good times!

    Blink 182

by springvalley6 on 7/25/09The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The music was great. I did not enjoy the lights. Many times I could not even see the artists face or take pictures. I felt cheated. We traveled to another state for this concert and most of the time the lights were too bright to enjoy it.

    Best Concert Ever!

by BlinkxFan06 on 7/25/09The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Blink 182's reunion concert was absolutely amazing! Any who has the chance to go should go or will regret it forever! Not only was the music amazing (as always) but Mark, Tom, and Travis were comedic in between the songs to keep the crowd going! Although I had bad seats ( at the very back of the balcony), it didn't even bother me! It was an unforgettable night/performance/experience! Don't miss out!

BEST CONCERT IVE EVER BEEN TO

by cloeym on 7/24/09The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Ever since I wasn't able to see them on their Dollar Bill club tour like 6 or so years ago, I have made it a life goal to see Blink 182 live JUST because of how influential this band has been in my life. So I was so stoked to hear them touring again. Despite the fact that they played a lot of songs from their self-titled CD, their show was AWESOME. I've been to a lot of concerts and this was by far in the top two right next to bob dylan. They have so much energy for being as old as they are and it was great. It was so amazing to just feed off of their energy and dance around to their timeless songs. And the drum solo was amazing! They didn't play M&Ms at my date which was a bummer but so many other good songs were played that I was satisfied. They were definitely worth the 6 hour drive to Vegas from San Diego. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

    show of a lifetime!

by Hallquist on 7/24/09The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

It was their first real show in half a decade. And the energy was amazing. After all these years, blink hasn't missed a beat. They're still the raucous, vulgar, and wild blink-182 that we all know and love. By the way, make sure you get down font in the pits. It's the best way to really be at a blink-182 concert.
