    My number one group

by Cecie on 11/14/22Music Box at the Borgata - Atlantic City

They were as they always are - warm, funny, engaging, and magical. Ritchie and Candice and co. are the best!! Beautiful theater too.

Band was wonderful, the venue was not

by Pixiedyst on 11/3/22Sony Hall - New York

The show was great. I adore Blackmoores Night and the shows are always special. I was severely unhappy with the venue. They had a alarm going off interrupting the show and their lighting guy vanished, blinding the performers with too bright lights. They ended up shutting the show down early because of how unprofessional the venue was. I DO NOT FAULT BLACKMOORES NIGHT AT ALL.

    Abysmal

by IB on 11/3/22Sony Hall - New York

The show started off great. However, quickly took a turn for the worse when the person in charge of lighting disappeared, the band walked off, the show ended prematurely, and the audience received no explanation or guidance. To say my family and I are disappointed is an understatement and will absolutely never return to this venue. Highly unprofessional.

Very Disappointed with the (short) show and Richie B.

by Fran on 11/2/22Sony Hall - New York

I'm a senior woman who flew up from FLorida just to attend the Blackmore's Night show at Sony Hall in NYC. The show started with an opening band who played for an hour and a half. Although they were good I did not pay for nor traveled to listen to an opening band. Then there was a 30 minute intermission...when Blackmore's Nights band came out there was no Richie Blackmore for another 20 minutes...then when he finally came out all he did was complain about his back and the lighting. He played for about 45 minutes and said that if the lighting wasn't fixed he was going to walk off the stage...which he did! Candice tried to make fun of it but you could tell that they were both at odds with each other. Richie not only left the fans confused and wondering if he was coming back but he also left his band members confused. It was obvious that Richie did not want to be there and play. This was my first time seeing Blackmore's Night and I will never go back to another one of their shows again. I wasted my time and money for a band that did not want to play. They did not know what songs they should play and did not communicate with the crowd. Next time they play they should rehearse first. If they don't want to play, they shouldn't and stop wasting peoples time and money!

    Band great, lousy venue

by Mahesh Srinivas on 11/2/22Sony Hall - New York

The band, and in particular Ritchie seemed to be really enjoying themselves, interacting with each other and the audience. Ritchie was playing beautifully. I was seeing Ritchie live after 25 years, and it was a dream come true seeing him from the second row of tables. The problems started when some loud emergency beeps sounded repeatedly in the venue. This was understandably a major distraction for the band. Then Ritchie and Candice complained, again understandably, about the lights shining on their faces. They requested - even pleaded with - the venue management several times to fix the issues, but it appeared that there was nobody in the house in charge of the lights. At the end Ritchie left the stage saying he will not play until the issue was fixed. In a few minutes the entire band wound up and left. They had played eight songs until then. I honestly cannot blame Ritchie for leaving in a huff - he tried to make the venue management fix things, and after being rebuffed decided that enough is enough. I am not sure that I will ever see a show at the Sony Hall again - dreadful venue!

    Ritchie Blackmore missed an opportunity

by Lifelong fan on 11/2/22Sony Hall - New York

The band came on and the first hour was fantastic, had everyone up and singing and clapping- pure Blackmore’s Night magic. Then a fire alarm started going off at the hotel next-door. Disruptive yes but it wasn’t constant and was not the end of the world. The band made a joke about it and it was all right. Then the lighting guy must’ve taken off, and left the spotlight Shining on the band in full force and what I am assuming was pretty blinding for them. The band asked repeatedly for the light to be moved, dimmed or shut down. Then Richie Blackmore got pissed off and left the stage never to be seen from again. Then Candace Night said “hold on I’ll be right back” and she was never to be seen from again. They left the band standing there looking confused and frightened not knowing what to do. The drummer did his drum solo until someone backstage threw a water bottle at him commanding he get off the stage too. The reason I gave the band one star is because of how they handled this. It wasn’t their fault that the fire alarm went off or that the lighting was not right. But to just act like a bunch of babies and leave the stage to never return, to not acknowledge the audience, to not even say goodbye Was just plain wrong and disrespectful. We flew across country to New York City just to see Blackmore’s Night. Spent a lot of money getting there just to see our favorite band. This was completely unacceptable. They could have at least come out and said goodbye to everyone and thank their fans for coming in. Richie Blackmore is a rockstar yes, but he’s not selling out stadiums anymore. Maybe he needs a little humility. And I felt very sorry for Candace that she has to put up with such a big baby, but she didn’t come out and say goodbye either. So disappointing as we have been fans of Blackmore’s Night since day one, and I have literally been a fan of Ritchie Blackmore’s since 1974. What a giant let down.

    Blackmore’s Night

by Cecie22 on 11/2/22Sony Hall - New York

They are a wonderful and unique band - and my favorite to see Sony Hall mishandled them and their fans, unfortunately.

    Disappointed to say the least

by MadMat on 11/2/22Sony Hall - New York

After 5 songs the guitarist left stage having asked bright lighting to be dimmed or angled away from stage aslo was a very loud back up alarm going off during soldier of fortune. This was a basement club and shouldnt have had that sound going into club. The band left and audience was pissed. 5 songs after spending money on band club food hotel train We should be refunded or make up date. On top of it paramount hotel which is connected to club the fire alarm kept going off all night. Absolutely no apology was made bt band club or hotel.

    Cut short

by Jaz M on 11/2/22Sony Hall - New York

The band was amazing. It was my first time seeing them. However the venue management at Sony Hall was not very accommodating to the band which resulted in the concert being cut short. I wish there was a way for refund. Again, band was amazing. Venue was unprofessional

    No respect for audience

    by Alex K. on 11/1/22

First of all, they appeared on stage very late. Candice talked too much instead of singing songs. I suspect Richie was drunk, he behaved strangely. They played only FIVE songs and left the stage without any excuse. Absolutely disrespectful to people who came to listen to their songs.

    My first BN concert

by Amethyst on 5/26/22Whitaker Center - Harrisburg

I really loved seeing Blackmore’s Night live for the first time and I was happy to have been able to take my daughter to her very first concert as well. Candace has such an amazing voice and Ritchie’s guitar playing is still as golden as ever. I will go back if they come back to my area.

Great Show!!! Ritchie was chatty (and hilarious!), Candice's voice was beautiful. They always act as though everyone there is their friends and you are all just hanging out together playing and listening to music. This was my 4th Blackmore's Night concert, and I have Never been disappointed with their performance!!

    Was amazing

by Gracie on 5/22/22Whitaker Center - Harrisburg

We were traveling from Canada and I just happened to see that Blackmore's Night was playing while we were in Harrisburg and we were able to get tickets. The band before Blackmore's Night was very good (I didn't catch their name). We really enjoyed seeing Ritchie Blackmore play (also we are big Deep Purple fans) and Candice Night - beautiful and lovely singing voice. She got everyone involved in the show - joking around and asking the audience questions. The whole band is very talented and worked well with each other. Also, loved the theater. It was very cozy. Overall it was an amazing Blackmore's Night night and we look forward to seeing them again. I also received a compliment on the Blackmore's Night T-shirt I bought the next day!

    Overall a Good Show

by MJM on 5/22/22Whitaker Center - Harrisburg

I wasn’t expecting an opening band but they were a perfect warmup for BN. The problem was they played too long. Then BN didn’t come on stage for another 40 minutes sapping all the build up energy the audience had. BN didn’t come onstage till 9:10 and the audience was clearly getting antsy. Having said that once BN came on they were great. The band is fantastic, super talented and a lot of fun. Overall an enjoyable night.
