BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB RETURN TO AUSTRALIA SHORES

After visiting Australia for a series of sold out shows in 2013, LA three-piece Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have announced that they’ll once again return for a run of shows to showcase their much anticipated new album, expected in early 2018.

Presented by MJR Presents, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will visit Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth where they’ll be performing a selection of new material as well as crowd favourites from the bands illustrious 19-year, seven album back catalogue, showing why they are one of the world’s most celebrated live bands.

‘Every time we've toured Australia something in some way has tried to kill me at one point or another, and always in new and somewhat inspired ways. So I have a great deal of respect for whatever cosmic forces are going on down there. It definitely keeps me on my toes though, which is all you really need to make rock'n'roll I guess.  Two good toes and a reason to keep tappin them.'

-Robert Levon Been / BRMC

Since their debut release in 2001, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have made a name for themselves on a global scale. By fusing together elements of the psych, space rock, noise-pop and classic rock and roll that weave themselves across five acclaimed studio albums, BRMC live shows have often been hailed as events rather than mere gigs; a dynamic showcase of dark, brooding rock mixed with an energetic show you can’t take your eyes off.

    BRMC captures.

by eyetalic on 10/17/13Civic Theatre - New Orleans

We stood at the stage to watch Black Rebel Motorcycle Club rake through an amazing set. They have such commitment to their music, and it comes through live. Great show.

Beautiful location, amazing band, but the venue really needs to work on the sound quality for concerts.

While I looked forward to this event for months, I was shocked to learn there were 2 opening acts on the day of the show!! Unfortunately we decided not to attend since it was going to run so late. I wish this type of information would be available before buying tickets!!

BRMC rocked it out....but....bring ear plugs

by qtsoutherngurl on 10/17/13Civic Theatre - New Orleans

The plus: Venue was nice, clean and well maintained. All three bands that played were really good. Tickets were reasonably priced. T shirts, souvenir selection/price good. All the band member hung around after their set to watch the show and talk to fans. Minus: it was a long show. There was nowhere to sit on the main floor..except the floor. If I had known I might have come a little later. There was no playbill available online or on location...which was kinda strange. The venue was nice but the acoustics made it so loud that by the time BRMC came on I was deaf to variations in sound. it just all sounded like loud guitars. Bring ear protection would be my advice. Also, I wished they would have played more old stuff. Honestly I think "Take em on on your own" is a better album. But It was a good show and if you're a fan you will enjoy it.

    Great show

by Anonymous on 9/30/13The Pageant - St Louis

Definitely one of the best shows I have been to. They played well over an hour and playe every song I wanted to hear. The opening bad was really good too. The Pagaent is the best place in St. Louis to see a show. There isn't one bad seat there.

    Soul Brother Blues Man

by JenX13 on 9/30/13The Pageant - St Louis

Best show I have seen in 2 years!!!! I've waited 13 years to see these guys again and they delivered!!!!! Amazing. They didn't miss a beat and you could feel the music pump through your veins! Loved the live version of Screaming Gun, made me love the song even more. I hope I don't have to wait a decade to see them again!

    Awesome Show!

by WannabeRockstar007 on 6/5/13Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The venue was small and had a good "underground concert" vibe. Drinks were pricy, but not as expensive as some other places in Vegas. The opening band was good, even though I had not heard of them before. BRMC was Awesome! very loud, full base, sick drums and guitar licks. The lighting effects really complimented the music. If anyone has a chance, check them out you wont be disappointed!

    SALVATION

by HNRCREW on 6/4/13The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Best show I have seen in a long time...13 years has blessed this band with quite an extensive catalog of songs. Their new album may be their best yet!

    Black Rebel ROCKING Motorcycle Club

by tismeselfyaknow on 6/3/13The Wiltern - Los Angeles

This show was pumping, the boys were in top form blasting one rocking hit after the other. The crowd were simply enthralled with the music, there wasn't a steady soul in the Wiltern that night. The support group, thenewno2, were brilliant too, this was my first time hearing them but haven't stopped listening to their cd I bought that night, unless, of course, I was listening to some BRMC. I can't wait for the next show, hurry back home to us boys, I want my eardrums pounding again.

    Black Rebel Motorcycle Club

by Nursebettie on 6/3/13The Wiltern - Los Angeles

The opening band I found to be corny and I didn't like the venu. The show its self was amazing. They played for amost 3 hours and even played songs I never heard them play live before ! I gave the show 3 stars due to the venu and the opening band.

    BRMC was awesome!

by pandora1988 on 6/2/13Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Great concert, intimate venue and decent drink prices! The staff was rather rude, and the sound wasn't the best or I would have given it 4 stars.

    Good not great

by asdihfhueba on 5/13/13Newport Music Hall - Columbus

I've heard before that a bad sound guy can ruin the experience at a concert. I'm pretty sure this was the case here. The guitars overpowered the drums and vocals. Too many ballads were played. The lighting sent over to the crowd was blinding. I wouldn't see them again.

Stellar show: BRMC + Dhani Harris' Band The New #2

I've seen BRMC many times, and they never fail to please. Awesome. Added bonus to see and hear George Harrison's son.

DO NOT MISS THEM LIVE! LOUD!!

by Bexter on 5/12/13Saint Andrews Hall - Detroit

I go to a lot of shows. I don't review many. But I have to give kudos to BRMC. They've amassed a massive catalog of great songs over the years and they play enough mix of old and new songs to keep it both familiar and fresh. They played for at least 2 hours. They are LOUD! Maybe loudest band I've seen. I'll bring ear plugs for next time. Cool T-shirt designs too, better than most bands and they all cost $20.

    intense

by fredmcdowell on 5/9/13Terminal 5 - New York

These guys were awesome. The had a lot of energy, and were just excellent overall. The NYC crowd was a bit mellow and touchy, but the band worked through it.
