Upon being seated , was told one of the seats I purchase was also sold to another person. My daughter had to sit in another seat and I had to sit by myself. I am giving three stars because Black Nativity was great. Also I was sitting with total strangers who were very nice.
The singers had the audience undivided attention from the time they opened their mouths until the very last song. Their were no bad singers or dancers. Quite moving experience.
This was an awesome showmanship of talent all around; the vocalist, drancers and musicians. I flew in from Houston, TX and was able to get a good seat considering it was a last minute ticket purchase. Will definitely recommend it to others to see every year.
Black Nativity never disappoints! A great reminder about the birth of our savior and the singing and dancing is amazing.
We are rather new to Atlanta and took my daughters (10 & 6) because they are currently involved in musical theater. I wanted them to experience an all black cast of dancers, singers, and musicians. Although they have been to several Broadway shows, this one was by far the most moving. They resonated with the lyrical dancing, the story of the nativity and the talent displayed in both vocal and instrumental music. Their familiarity allowed them to embrace the entire experience. I believe we have a new holiday tradition. Can't wait for next year!
Amazing play. The Holy Spirit moved throughout. Makes one think about their relationship with the Lord and Savior.

This is an amazing show. The performer and singers to us to church!!! I have seen this show at least 4 times and each time Iâm still amazed. I do miss the intimacy of the Southwest Arts Center.
The dance, music, and overall show was excellent! Iâll be coming back next year and bringing everyone I know!

Excellent production! I truly enjoyed the creative genius and the dedication of the cast for outstanding performance.
It was very heartfelt and told the story of Jesus birth so well! I think the African dance scene was too long and the sound was too loud especially at the beginning of the show. So many local Atlanta artists were in the show which was great, EBC church had two members in the show! Again great story of Jesus and everyone should go see it in 2020!!!!
The Black Nativity is an excellent musical. The singers are amazing. The message is beautiful. The comedy is hilarious. I look forward to attending the show next year.
The cast was phenomenal, music & the spirit of the entire performance was exceptional. Was not expecting such high emotionality! I was blown away!
Black Nativity was phenomenal from the beginning to the end. Every single player was exceptional. This is my 2nd yr attending this Broadway level production & I was left w/ not wanting it to end.

This performance was absolutely incredible. The music, dance, costumes â all of it. Our family had a wonderful time at the matinee and when it was over my 7 year old said, âCan we go to the 8 pm show?â
This show was amazing, the best singing I've ever heard. It's a must see, don't sleep on this show!
This was PHENOMENAL!!! I wasnât sure what to expect but I was so pleased! You could feel the presence of God! This was an experience I will remember forever! I canât wait to see it again and bring my whole family!
