    Breathtaking

by Wow on 2/8/22Chase Center - San Francisco

The coolest experience I’ve been to in a long while. Bjork is a genius and she was able to share her inspiration with San Francisco.

Disappointed in venue type not show

by Disappointed on 2/8/22Chase Center - San Francisco

The show was beautiful, artistic and Bjork sounded great. The problem is: this is a show for a theater not a stadium. The visuals do not translate when you are in the ‘cheap’ seats high up and far away. There are no monitors to help you see Bjork so you’re stuck watching something beautiful far too away to truly appreciate it. Also, the speakers for the stadium blocked our view from Bjork for 50% of the show.

    Weird

by DT on 2/8/22Chase Center - San Francisco

I had to leave less than hour into the show. The beat was the same and I couldn’t understand her. It was definitely not for me.

    Amazing!

by alvaro on 2/8/22Chase Center - San Francisco

There was just one guy in the central area raising his hand and standing up; luckily, security yelled at him because he did it many times during the show. The policy should be that people should be kicked out at the third time. The tickets were expensive, and you want to enjoy the experience.

I have seen her in multiple countries and seeing her artistry live is never a disappointment. A legend.

Quite possibly the best concert experience of my life. To start, the ticket-buying process was a breeze, and my friend and I ended up with great Center Orchestra seats. There was a brief scare when Ticketmaster mistakenly sent an email to seated ticket holders that was meant for those with General Admission tix, and I briefly thought we'd lost our seats, but the email was quickly recalled, and everything from there went perfectly smoothly. Kings Theatre is gorgeous, but I never saw it before the renovations, so I can't compare it to its former self. And of course, most importantly, the performance was breathtaking. Björk's vocals were in great form, and she delivered them with passion and sincerity. Alarm Will Sound really brought the music to life, both the new Vulnicura pieces and works from Björk's back catalogue. There was also a brief moment where Björk stumbled on the hem of her dress and almost crashed into one of the string players, but they didn't so much as break the rhythm. And the combination of Arca and Manu Delago gave the music a lot of muscle and a sense of the unexpected. The highlights of the night for me were "Family," "Notget," and "Come to me" because they really brought all these forces together. Last night I found out a friend missed out on Björk's April 1st show at City Center because of an issue with StubHub, so I'm really grateful that Ticketmaster made the process so easy for me.

Bjork played 14 songs 9 of them were from her new album. I'm glad I got to see her play considering that I feel she's one of the best artists of our time. I just can't believe she didn't play one of her many hits: I would of settled for "hyperballad" or "All is Full of Love".

Based mostly on songs from her latest album, with just a spoonful of old material. And the "No photograph" policy? Bollocks!!!!!

Great venue. Goosebumps during the first song. Clear, beautiful voice. Have to admit to dozing off during the first half. The second half was much more engaging. Could actually see Bjork after she removed the weird head dress thing and the songs were more energetic.

Bjork is a must see for a complete life

    by 10TEN10 on 3/25/15Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

I have been waiting to see Bjork for over 15 year. This was a total bucket list event for me. It was a rights of passage. I felt like rainbows and unicorns were flying around me. Bjork was onstage with an 18 piece band mostly strings. SO EPIC. The music was haunting. There was a 20 minute intermission. The show started at 3pm and was over around 5:30. What a dope time for a Sunday! I came in from CT for this show and I was back in New Haven by 10pm. My life is no complete. My only issues was. You are not allowed to take photos or video. After waiting this long. I was pissed I could not take a 20 second clip of all is full of love. I tried. Trust me I did. Kings, you need to rethink this one. We are in an age of technology. It's a good thing. :-)

A surprisingly dull Bjork show :(

    by gypsyeyes42 on 3/25/15Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

I've seen Bjork's live performances before, & they've been some of the best shows I've ever attended. However, this show, supposedly "stripped down", was slow, dull, lackluster, and very down-beat. The visuals projected behind the string performers were not very interesting, & in a way they contributed to the "one-note", plodding feeling of the show overall. Bjork's voice still sounds amazing, the instruments sounded good, but the songs were all dreary, slow-paced, & "down". And the biggest "hit" she sang was saved for the 1 song encore. If I had seen Bjork only perform live at this particular show, I'd never bother to see her again. But I know she's capable of putting on incredible shows that can take you through every emotion, high & low, thrill you visually, and get you up on your feet and dancing your butt off. So I'm hoping this is the last time she does this kind of show, where she just paces across the stage singing her most depressing songs. In a beautiful theater like Kings Theater, I expected more theatrics, more "show". I could've almost gotten the same thing out of this show by just staying home & listening to her albums.

Bjork's second half of show weak and lacked energy

by Yedida on 3/25/15Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

After the intermission Bjork's voice sounded like it was giving out a bit. She wasn't hitting her high notes and her voice was pitchy. Her choice of songs in the second half felt like they were random or optional, lacking the cohesive passion of the first half; not a compelling set list. Second half her short dress was wavy too informal and the heavy dark clogs on her feet, ditto. Huge let down after the Vulnicura music and costume of the first half. Second half of the show had intermittent lighting problems and visual back projection problems. First quarter of the second half of the performance the stage was bare of any set design projections. And when they did show up they were projections of slimy snails finally reverting to her signature visual tone projections in a different color palette than the first half.

    Beautiful Bjork!

    by Akire750 on 3/25/15Kings Theatre - Brooklyn

Show was absolutely amazing!!! Theater was incredible beautiful and ornate and set up to feel intimate. Bjork put on a great show as usual will a simple set up and large screen in the background to accentuate her one of a kind voice. I would see this show over and over again!

    Bjork was an incredible experience!!!

by mizzchevious on 7/25/13TD Echo Beach - Toronto

I was absolutely blown away. A week and a half later and I still cannot get the show out of my head. As always, Bjork's stage presence was captivating, and the wardrobe was beautiful. I especially loved the choreography with the choir, and thought that each choir member having their own mic really added to the sound. The lights and lazers were awesome and it was overall, for lack of a better word, magical. I wish I could relieve it again and again.

BJORK @ Echo Beach Toronto ON

by CJinTO on 7/20/13TD Echo Beach - Toronto

Goose bumps from the beginning to the end. Bjork is the most innovative artist of our time. Her talent is unlimited, she can conquer any genre or musical style she sets her mind to. Admittedly, you either love or hate her there's no middle ground with Bjork. Her show started off with songs from Biophilia then led the crowd on a tour of her greatest moments from her previous recordings. When she started a thumping club beat version of 'Army of Me', she had the entire crowd in the palm of her hand and never let go for the rest of the way. Her encore 'Declare Independence' from Volta was dedicated to Trayvon Martin. Raise your flag, raise your flag higher and higher...Bjork is the queen.

    Life is great

by BjorkMI on 7/19/13TD Echo Beach - Toronto

I've seen Bjork once before in NYC and it was at a more intimate venue, but the Echo Beach location luckily wasn't corporate-crazy-large and was still intimate enough to really impress everyone equally! Fun location, especially at night when the moon is shining down and the cityscape is in the distance. Though still sticking true to the Biophilia theme, this show was pulling songs from all over Bjork's wonderful discography, Bjork was really feeling every single lyric, and the crowd was in awe!! Bjork was smiling, and each performer and stage crew member obviously was loving it too! The crowd was singing along. Truly an unforgettable performance, I've enjoyed every show I've ever bought tickets for, but there's no way in heck that any performer will be able to top this show and the energy it exuded for quite some time! I was really happy that although this being the second time I saw her, it was still a different type of show and wasn't just a rehash of what I've seen before--she just gets better and better! There's nothing better than when the audience members all have smiles on their faces and are living in the moment, all realizing that they are part of something special & great!
