Good dance moves, but did not understand. It was a difficult concert to grasp. It was a bit long and not enough dancing. There was a bit too many scenes with a lot of talking and verbal conversations, not enough dancing. It was not as exciting as I have hoped. Though it was a good performance, it did not reach my expectations.

by MissTilly on 3/8/12ASU Gammage - TempeAside from venue problems (due to a faulty fire alarm they had to evacuate the theater 3X before the performance, delaying the start time), the lead dancer was injured so they deleted the main performance. We did however get to see the second and third routines and they were amazing. Truly a talented pair of dancers with strength, flexibility, and control of movements you generally only get to see at Cirque du Soleil performances. Too bad we never got to experience Eric and his partner's routine, I bet it was wonderful as well.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 3/8/11ASU Gammage - Tempe This show was mesmerizing and powerful. A fresh look at history that made me think about common experiences in Lincoln's time and now. We are still grappling with the same basic issues. Perhaps we always will be.
Rating: 3 out of 5 It was a new experience!
by Macamm on 3/7/11ASU Gammage - TempeYes, I attended the production, and did not know exactly what to expect. I invited friends and was nervous about what they would feel too. Once the final curtain came and I saw the smile on their faces, I knew they were pleased. Me? I was pleased to have had the experience but, I have to admit...at times it was difficult to stay in the moment. It was my first experience with interpretative/expressive dance/music. I applaud Jones/Zane Company for their huge achievement in putting this production to music.
Rating: 2 out of 5 Did not enjoy this show
by Anonymous on 3/7/11ASU Gammage - TempeThe dancing was beautiful and I enjoyed it very much. I did not understand the point of a lot of the scenes so I had a very difficult time determining the plot. I did not like the singing or the songs. Most of them were just meaningless to me. I did not enjoy the music at all. It was all sort of "haunting". The dancers were excellent!!

by challi on 6/18/10French Institute/Florence Gould Hall - New YorkMy friend and I were exceptionally pleased with this event. Having access in such close proximity to such a man of genius was thrilling. We both felt that we had experienced something truly remarkable. He was very forthcoming and inclusive to his audience. Thank you for this opportunity!
