The tickets arrived on time, Indianapolis is an easy city to travel in signs are marked very well. Just because my team didn't win doesn't mean I won't go again. Lucas oil stadium was amazing and very clean! No bad seats at all!
I was very disappointed in the seat location considering that I purchased the tickets on the first day they went on sale. I chose best available and still ended up in the 400 level. I would not purchase tickets again if unable to obtain a better seat selection.
Decent view, reasonable price. venue was good with comfortable temps and great video screens
Great event and the city was wonderful with a lot of things for the kids to do
Great Experience! Nice warm stadium even when it's freezing cold outside.
The security lines need to move quicker in the cold temperatures. It was 20 degrees. The stadium was fantastic and the food/drink lines were short. Everyone was very nice.
Really enjoyed our view of the field from our seats. Didn't need any binoculars. Everything was clear. My only 'complaint' was that I was expecting to be seated in or near the MSU side of the stadium and not in the middle of the OSU fans. There were a few MSU fans that made it better especially after we started to add points. There was food outside our seating area that was for sale, but after being in Club seats in other stadiums, I was expecting 'free' food. All in all though I was happy and excited to be able to attend and it not costing an arm and a leg.
The stadium workers had a lot of trouble dealing with the large crowd attending the BIG 10 Championship game. It was freezing outside and the lines to get into the stadium were extremely long and slow moving. It took the security people a long time to complete their checks to get people to the ticket takers. Once inside it was just a mass of people. Most people had no idea where they were going and there were no stadium helpers insight to offer assistance. In my opinion, it was like the stadium staff had never dealt with a large crowd before. It was pain staking to get to our seats in the upper deck. The escalators were packed as were the concession and merchandise lines. Overall poor execution by Lucas Oil Stadium.
The stadium is terrific, no bad seats. The whole event is great. The big 10 did a great job, and the city of Indianapolis was great. Really nice tailgate, fangate activities. Will definitely go again
What a day, what a game! It couldn't have been better. Go GREEN!
This is a fabulous venue for the championship game. We stayed in hotel next to stadium and everything was within easy walking distance. We were back to the hotel well before many we're even out of the parking lot. The actual stadium was great! Can't imagine there is a bad seat in the place. We sat in section 324. Jumbo screen was just to our right. There was tons of legroom. Would definitely consider return trip to this event!!!
I went to this game because my son is in the Spartan Marching Band. I came away feeling I had been a part of history. I'm an MSU alum and mother of two MSU alums (and one soon-to-be alum), so of course I wanted my team to win. But what a contest! And what a show from the Spartan Marching Band and the Ohio State marching band. The combined bands on the field playing the Star Spangled Banner, the acknowledgement to the opposing school that both bands included in their pregame shows, and the behavior of the student musicians was fantastic. College football games are an experience--a quintessential American Saturday pastime and this game was one of the best ever.
The Big Ten Championship game was a good time other than the outcome of the game. Tickets were as described and delivered in a timely manner once printed. The seats had a nice view of the field and the stadium itself was really nice.
Event was gift for spouse's 60th. Birthday gift. Disappointed with seats but not venue
Downtown Indianapolis rocks! Even in a cold snap, you can easily get to and from hotels, restaurants, and shopping through the elevated walkway system. In our ten hours downtown leading up to the game, we only had to be outside for ten minutes. And what a game! As lifelong Spartan fans, it was absolutely an awesome experience watching the Spartans dismember the #2 team in the country. On to the Rose Bowl!
I was very disappointed in the venue. After many years of seeing how well Indy handles the B1G Basketball tournament I was shocked at how poorly this game was handled. Thousands of us had to wait outside in the freezing cold for over 30 minutes to get through the gate. The "security" process was painfully slow and over done - every person does not need to be wanded before entry. As if that weren't bad enough, why in the world were there huge piles of snow right in front of the gates? The sidewalks and other areas were clear, did they pile it all up right in front of the door? I was also surprised how long it took to get out of the stadium after the game. Again, I have never had issues in Conseco before, but Lucas Oil really does not seem to be set up to handle sell out crowds.
Not a bad seat in the house! The venue is great. However, with all the commercials and TV timeouts, the game or actually the lack of a game, goes on forever. Shame on the Big Ten and Fox for sticking it to the fans who pay the big money and make the time and effort to go to Indy.
overall experience was great highly recommend and not a bad seat.
Lucas Oil stadium seating was fine however the city needs to address it's handling of patrons in and out of event. We stayied south of city overnight and took cab to event , the problem was there is NO Organized handling of folks leaving. It took us over an hour and a half to get a cab back to the hotel and then the cab driver wanted twice of $ 50.00 for the trip versus $ 25.00 going into the game. In addition the city police seemed to be giving cabs a hard time with two or more being stopped for tickets which reduced cabs available. Other venues will have a cab service line where taxi pull up and once in line you get the next available. At this event people were spread over four or more city blocks trying to hail a cab. Bottom line is we will most likely never be attending another event in that city.
