About

Country group Big & Rich hit the big time when “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” off their triple-platinum 2004 debut became a Top 40 hit.The song outlnined the duo’s arrival in Nashville and was featured in commercials during the 2004 World Series of Poker and Super Bowl XLI, garnering the band further attention after appearing in the video game Karaoke Revolution Country. Big & Rich’s fan base is so widespread that 2014 tour dates only sell a limited amount of tickets per individual. Peoria, Illinois, will be welcoming the country duo to Ravina on the Lakes in July 2014. America’s Technicolor cowboys provide plenty of party songs while on tour, including “Party Like Cowboyz” and "Get Your Game On." Interspersed throughout the concert are socially conscious ballads, such as "Last Words," John Rich’s description of "Roy Orbison meets Queen."

John Rich was one of the original members of country band Lonestar before meeting Hollywood Records solo artist Kenny Alphin (Big Kenny) in a club. They collaborated on writing the song, “I Pray for You,” in 1998 and started MuzikMafia (Musically Artistic Friends in Alliance). Both John and Big Kenny participate in worthwhile philanthropy projects, including performing in a 2006 benefit concert for construction of the 173rd Airborne Memorial, which was later turned into a documentary. The concert's Vietnam-era song, “8th of November,” was recorded in 2007. Big & Rich are still spending plenty of time in the studio and plan to release their fifth album in 2014. The duo’s hard work has paid off with nominations for Vocal Duo of the Year in 2012 and 2013. "We continue to try to inspire," says Kenny. "We just try to be ourselves in a world that sometimes insinuates you shouldn't go outside the boundaries.”

    Little lackluster.

by GregP on 2/7/22Beau Rivage Theatre - Biloxi

I love Big & Rich as a duo but this concert was far less than spectacular, a little slow moving at times and didn't play many of their biggest hits. Cowboy Troy was the star of the show in my opinion.

by Pammy on 2/7/22Beau Rivage Theatre - Biloxi

Big and Rich put on a show Friday night at the Beau Rivage that was nothing short of magnificent. This group is packed with talented entertainers and truly engages their audience. I will see them again and again.

    Way too loud

by Tff on 2/7/22Beau Rivage Theatre - Biloxi

Could not hear lyrics more of a hard rock concert than country. Liked their energy but way too loud.

Concert was good. Sound quality was really bad.

by Bill on 2/7/22Beau Rivage Theatre - Biloxi

The concert was really good. It was hard to hear becuase the treble was drowning out the performers. It did get better towards the end of the show.

    Best concert ever

by Kathy on 2/7/22Beau Rivage Theatre - Biloxi

Big & Rich sure know how to put on a show! Outstanding! So much fun! They sang many of their hit songs. They along sang several songs that are deeper cuts on their albums, which were fabulous. The military/veteran salute was really cool! The sound and their harmonies were perfect! They even went 15 min over the venue time limit (sure the casino wasn’t happy about that). My only complaint was I wish they had time to sing more of their great songs. The venue was good. Very comfortable. Didn’t feel crowded in.

    High Energy!

by J. S. on 7/29/19Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

The show was great. Lots of surprises and energy on a very hot night in CA. I support our vets but I felt that in a short 90 min show (I was told that they had to be off the stage at 10 sharp due to residential requirements) I would have liked one more song and just a slightly shorter vet tribute.

I was bummed the show got moved inside and our seats weren’t the same. Chairs were too squished together so I know some people left. Big n Rich, Gary Allen and Chris Hawkey put on a great show!
