EPMD, and Big Daddy Kane! What an awesome nostalgic experience! The vibe was awesome! šš¾
Absolutely the dopest live hip hop set Iāve ever experienced. BDK put together a well thought out musical experience that shouldāve been seen by 1000ās. Long live Kane.
Big Daddy Kane, Michel'le, EPMD, and Keith Washington all put on a great show!! My seating was also comfortable and roomy. I wish they had promoted it better, because it was worthy of a much larger crowd. Also, the Wiltern is an older theater and has a smell, like damp furniture...I think the carpet needs to be shampooed Big Daddy Kane with the live band was awesome! I would definitely see him perform again!
Loved seeing Kane perform with a live band. He is evolving his stage performance and I'm here for it!
His show was so awesome. He had a great stage presence, connected with the audience, and didnāt miss a beat when performing his songs. I loved the live band, and Vanessa Ferguson (I believe that was her name), was awesome too as she took the lead in a Lauryn Hill cover. I also got to meet Kane after the show and he was so chill. I was very impressed with the whole experience and I would definitely go see Kane again.
He put on a great show every time he come soak in the rest of the crew they always put on a great show like I won't miss it for the world I think God that they're coming to Rochester again because I'm not able to travel for all this summer so I'm grateful that I could be outside and watch them perform Big Daddy King soak they going to do the damn thing
I have loved and followed Big Daddy Kane since the age of 12 I am 50 now. He is my favoriye Male Rapper. I recently received kidney transplant July 16th 2022. So coming to Jersey which is where I am from to NY was my celebratory treat. I had the time of my life. My only regret was not meeting him in person and gettinga photo with him.
The vibe and energy that day was amazing. Big Daddy Kane still has it. Looking forward to other shows such as this.
A primarily seated affair with VIP flair. Sony Hall was set up as chic lounge. A bespoked Big Daddy Kane hit the stage with heavy James Brown energy, a full band and gorgeous vocalist! And they didn't miss a beat! That man is aging like fine wine and still in my Top 3 Lyricist of All Time. An Eternal 'Smooth Operator' that never half steps. Bravo, Kane!! BRAVO!
Iāve seen multiple shows with my Big Daddy and he never fails. His energy is amazing and he keeps me on my feet. I especially love when he gets into the audience to have individuals chime in. I canāt wait until he comes back to New York. Long live the Kane!š
This show was marketed as Big Daddy Kane but it was more of a Beat Junkies show promoting their mixing classesšš½ BDK came out for Exactly 10 min. The night was only saved because I arrived early and got into a show that was going on upstairs prior to 10pm show. Thanks to Noah Reid the night began better than it ended.
As a fan of Big Daddy Kane, I was very excited to see him perform live, but the performance was somewhat disappointing. The venue was pretty descent and the ticket prices were very reasonable. There were a couple of good DJs that opened for him and had great sets. Big Daddy Kane went on stage around midnight and started a great performance. He is a great artist that can really engage the crowd. However, his whole performance was less than 15 minutes, which was disappointing to say the least. I really wished he would have performed a couple more songs.
It was a great show he was right up and close with the audience even walked out in through the audience was just kicking it like he is amongst friends. High energy show guy can still get down for 51 years old at the end of the day him & Rakim on a true lyricist of the 80s that changed the game For MCS who came after
Bought the VIP tickets for my boyfriend and I, he's a Big Daddy Kane fanatic, and he absolutely loved it. The service was great had a great view, not to mentioned Funk Master Flex in there doing his thing brought back a lot of old memories. We loved it such a wonderful experience
Good show a little short just one featured guest came out
Great show. It'll take you back! Definitely well worth the money spent.
Show was all that little lag in between acts but overall great show!!
This was the show of the year!!!!!!!! Highly recommended. If you can see it, go!!!!

Amazing to have So many Legends on stage at the same time!
