BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Australia, Jessica Anne Newham, a.k.a. Betty Who, became involved in music at a very young age, training in classical cello at four years old and teaching herself piano and guitar. During her college years she adopted the moniker Betty Who and began working with Peter Thomas, a producer who helped her develop her unique music style. She released her '80s-inspired breakout single "Somebody Loves You" in 2012, landing at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs chart and earning a spot on TIME Magazine's list of 14 Musical Acts To Watch in 2014. She topped the charts once again with 2014's Slow Dancing EP, proving she's an act on the rise with a unique sound that's been praised by critics and fans alike. Betty's dance pop will have fans ready to party as she heads out on a fun-filled tour, sharing upbeat tracks from her highly acclaimed EPs.

The energy that Betty has on the stage is crazy. She hypes the public and gets a buzz back which creates the most amazing atmosphere. So happy to see how packed the venue wasnto support her, and you could genuinely feel the love and appreciation
Betty serves a show like no one else. Vocals, chroeo, projections, energy. I stood in the front in heels and didn't even notice how much my feet hurt until I was waiting for coat check. Betty is an unreal popstar, but truly NOTHING compares to her live. Will NEVER miss her show.

Charming, lovable, warm, witty and wonderful, and the meet and greet was great, not to mention the impeccable venue and staff at The Van Buren in Phoenix.
Loved Shea Colee as opening act. Betty was great but made us wait for 1 hr before coming on stage. Why? No explanation - it certainly wasn’t set up on stage as all was set shortly after Shea was done with her show. The actual show was great. Vocals were not mixed well and often drowned out (right by the stage as well as from further afar). Overall a great show and since it was the first show on the US tour these issues can hopefully get resolved. Glad we went and had a good time.
Betty Who was fantastic! She puts so much into her show, and the crowd feeds off her energy (and vice-versa). One of the best shows I've seen lately.
Even though she was losing her voice towards the end, she let the crowd know and continued to perform. Her honesty and bluntness was appreciated and I believe it encouraged the crowd to get more engaged and interactive! I would definitely see her again! Her opener Rozzi was also very talented.
What a great concert and venue. Will definitely buy tickets to see Betty and the band again.

Every time Betty Who performs you know she is going give it everything. This was my 6th time seeing her and she continues to grow and evolve as an artist and as a performer. She wowed the crowd from start to finish and unlike a lot of artist she reads the crowd and adjusts accordingly. Couldn’t recommend her more.
