Fabulous show. Singing was great, nothing lost over the years. She still looks fantastic. I was in the 14th row on the floor and I would do it again.
Bette Midler was wonderful. She sang, moved about the stage and entertained. She never stopped for about 2 hours.
I have been to quite a few concerts and Broadway shows, but none have I enjoyed as much as Bette Midler's performance at MSG on June 26! Her show was extremely entertaining to me given her incredible voice & presentation, her enthusiasm & energy and her sense of humor ... topped off with a class act band and "her girls" ... When a smile wasn't plastered on my face, I found myself touched/moved (The Rose...how could u not be?!) by the emotion she put into her songs and the sentiments she shared. Funny, funny "shtick" and attractive (& fun) dresses/costumes made this the best evening I have had in years!! We wound up sitting for a while after the show was over--just to bask in the moment. I am so glad and thankful to have had the opportunity to see her! Bravo, Bette!!! Bravo!
My wife and I thought that this was a great concert! Bette sang her heart out for two hours. Her singing was excellent. Her comedic elements were fun. We had a terrific time!
I would have liked to hear more of the older but well known songs instead of about 4 slow and unfamiliar ones. Am I Blue, Lullabye of Broadway, Friends. There's no other place to put this: However, leaving the garden was awful. No air, escalators weren't working, people could not get out quickly and it was hot. Bad ending to a great night.
Bette has still got it!!!!! Her show is always 100% Her job is to entertain, and she is one of the best!!
Amazing show and very entertaining. Lots of laughs and good music.
This show was an absolute pleasure to see. Bette Midler was in top form and delivered her material with high energy and a sense of true genuineness. Had I missed this show, I would definitely be regretting it right now. A WONDERFUL evening!
We were disappointed with the selection of songs (we did not know most of them). Bette waited until the very end to sing (3) of her best known hits. The sets were elaborate and definitely enhanced the experience. Her voice was strong and clear and she hasn't lost her sense of humor. If we weren't big Bette fans, we would been very disappointed.
Bette is just amazing. This new show was fantastic. Her voice was perfect, the band great. An overall great evening listening to the Devine Miss "M"
she was inbelieveable from start didn't think of drinks or bathrooms whole time I will definitely see her again customs and back ground was fanastic thanks msg again and again see ya at Madonna!!!!
My husband and I had a great evening and Bette Midler did notdisappoint!
First time at Madison Square Gardens. Bette Midler is such a performer, and although the first half of the show was a bit hit and miss, with strange things like an Egg dancing around the stage, during dress changes, the second half really got going and finished with a bang, with all her great hits. Well Done Bette!
This was the first time I've seen Bette Midler in concert and I can't wait to see her again. She was fantastic from the start of the concert to the numerous encores that we were treated to. This is a lady who really knows how to put on a show. She's funny, she's talented, she's awesome. Run, don't walk to see her - this was really one of the best concerts I've ever seen.To the Divine Miss M, I'm happy I was able to attend an Intervention!
Bette Midler has done it again. She is an entertainer extraordinaire. The energy was great. Most of the jokes were great. I think I only didn't like one (but my friend liked it). She sang all the requisite songs of her past, and even though her voice has changed over the years she still sounds great. As I mentioned, the energy put out by Bette and everybody on stage was non-stop for 2 hours. At 69 years old, I don't know how she does it. If possible ... go see this show .. Bette Midler - Devine Intervention
A fantastic show by the ever-youthful Bette Midler--just as I expected. Not only did I enjoy her music, particularly her ballads, but many of her comments left me guffawing.
So glad I went to this show. Bette is so talented and still sings and looks so beautiful. She sang all her old time songs along with new one.. I just love her...
What a great show!!! Even with the retirement of Delores (Mermaid) and who can blame a nearly 70 year-old performer schlepping around in a mermaid costume???? Great selection of songs from her great body of work. Her band was tight and amazing, the Harlots were equal to the task. She had a bunch of costume changes but the show flowed and moved. When she comes back to the NYC area, we will make it a point to go see her!!
We have seen Bette probably 8 or 9 times over many years...Now at 70 years old...can still out sing most and gives you an outstanding show..........
