If you have been to Bette Shows in the past you will not be disappointed. She does the show she has been doing for years but now has a Las Vegas look. It is an enjoyable show. THe costumes are great and Bette has so much energy. I also took my 22 year old daughter who has never seen her live and she loved it too.
Wonderful! Truly enjoyed the show and the expericence of seeing Miss M. She is a great entertainer and was it was truly an enjoyable experience.
My friend and I absolutely loved the show. Great songs, great showgirls, very funny.
The name of the show says it all, right from the opening credits and video you know you are about to be entertained. Bette 'the peoples diva' as she says, is a fabulous entertainer, the dancers and other singers, the stage setting help to make to make the show a wonderful experience.
Miss Midler once again shows she can crank it out! We arrived at the theater only to be towe needed to see the House Manager. Thinking of course the show had been cancelled, we were a bit anxious; however, for some reason, Management was upgrading everyone (except the Harrah's comps). We were originally seated in the second tier, but ended up on the Main Floor center - we could see every sequins and feather....she held our attention from beginning to end. More than once the unparalleled singing of the Divine Miss M bought tears to our eyes - most notably during her rendition of "The Glory of Love". Her trademark bawdy humor remained intact, and Sophie didn't miss a beat. This is a show not to be missed if you are a fan!
AWESOME CONCERT. WOULD GO AGAIN IF I HAVE THE CHANCE. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.
I have seen Bette many many times, and she never fails to amaze me! This show was no exception. She gives her all from the minute she steps on the stage. Now she is only two years younger than I am, and there she is dancing, running, and putting her incredible emotion and heart into every song...she has it all over most stars with her ability to entertain. She plays to the entire audience....there is a huge range of age, from the teenagers to the ,upper geriatric. There are none like her and this would Be your Best Bette ever!!
This show was so HUGE for such a little gal!! All of the sets, costumes, videos and sound was just awesome!
I sure wish entertainers would realize we pay good money to see them perform. Bette is a singer not a political comedian. If you like the stale comments about George Bush and Sara Palin her opening might be for you. I figure by May enough is enough and I don't care about her political stanze. Overall the singing was good for a woman her age. I would have preferred one or two more songs over the politics...Buy the cheap seats if you go.
a very entertaining show from a wonderful performer.
fun show mostly old stuff so if you've seen her before you know the show.
SHE WAS DELIGHTFUL AND WITTY. HER OUTFITS WERE TASTEFUL AND APPEALING.
This was an OK show, but FAR from the big time show that Caesers normally has in this room with Celine, Cher and Elton John. We thought it was OK, but only that. If Bette would clean up her language and sing instead of spending time on third rate gutter humor it would have been a much more memorable show. We have seen so many better performances in Vegas at a much lower price.
This is the 7th time I have seen Bette in concert. The first was when Barry Manilow was her opening act and she mooned the audience in the theater in Chicago. I would see her again, but have to share that though she was primo, the show was not. The orchestra sound overpowered her in the first quarter of the show. We were sitting in the middle section in the center and could barely hear her. The mermaid sequence, though enjoyable, was way too long. Again, I have to say that I would see her again, but would not expect what I have expected in the past.
She was amazing. Going back in 3 months to see her again.
Music was excellent. Humor was dated (had heard most of the jokes) and she is in love with the "F" word, using in places where there was no reason to do so. I don't mind hearing it, but when it is obviously used for the sake of using it (rather than to enhance the story) I don't care for it.
WE ARE FROM A DIFFERENT AGE -- WHERE A JOKE DID NOT NEED THE F BOMB ALWAYS ATTAHCED TO IT..... COMEDIANS TODAY -- USE THAT FOR SHOCK RATHER THAN ENTERTAINMENT... IT WAS NOT ENJOYABLE TO HEAR F WORDS AS IF THEY WERE BEING USES AS VERBS - OR DIRECT OBJECTS IN SENTENCES... WE HAVE TO GET AWAY FROM THE CRUDE LANGUAGE AND GET BACK TO THE COMEDY OF LAUGHING NOT BY CURSING -- BUT BY TELLING A JOKE.... HER SHOW IS NOT GEARED FOR MY AGE GROUP ----- SENIORS -- I DID NOT LIKE IT AND ONLY WISH THEY GAVE REFUNDS
She is an amazing performer and was worth the ticket price.
This was the 4th time that we went to see The Showgirl Must Go On. The show is brilliant, and we'll go again. What an entertainer - the best! The show has a bit of everything, and keeps you spellbound. Loads of brilliant moments - the Dolores scenes are right up there for Las Vegas over the topness.
