I wouldn’t waste your money on this event. It said it would start at 9 and we stood around and waited until it finally started at 10. The dj was the opposite of hype, in fact he looked out of it. Me and my friends thought he was high. The music choices were terrible. I would never go to another one, and this is coming from a 19 year old girl aka their exact age demographic so if u are my age listen to me
This is fun for a night out but honestly it depends on the DJ you get. I’m pretty sure they switch up their DJs and the show I attended was slightly less than mid.
Honestly, surpassed my expectations. I expected not that many people to show up, me and my friend came an hour late and when we headed into the venue it was filled with people all jumping and dancing on the dance floor. The music played were also good, I wished there were more 2012-2014 hits that were played but overall 8/10 music. I also met many people there, everyone was having a blast and I also met a cute international student there so 10000/10 experience. Would go again!

it was just me, my girlies and the gays! dj needs a bit more work but regardless, he gave what he had. everyone was sooo nice too. literally might’ve been my best night ever!!
It was simply a joke. No one was there. Music wasn’t good. Drinks were waaaaay overpriced. Complete waste of money. Embarrassed I was there
I wanted to like this more. I invited 20+ people to come to enjoy a fun dj dance party. But most of the songs played were not top hits. They werent the dancable songs I was hoping for. I felt like I was in a Korean Karaoke spot in NYC where the music videos did not match the songs being played. I really hoped for more, all around.
I literally had the best night ever. I couldn’t keep a smile off my face that entire night
Honestly was expecting throwback songs and it was more recent stuff from the same artists. Started off strong but went downhill. Also playing a long sad song really killed the mood.
i was expecting better music. it seemed like it was geared more towards younger kids. all that was played was One Direction and Taylor Swift. the only good songs that were played was the very few suggestions he took. we left early because of how boring it got.
It was a great experience but there were two rooms in the Observatory (I think) and I ended up going to the wrong one at first had I not left and went to the bigger room. I think signs might be a little more clear although checking in was very easy.
I think it was the worst party I ever went to. The guy on the stage was really embarassing, we were less than 50, mostly 18-year old people, and the music weren't good.
First of all the dj was almost 2 hours late. Then, he didn't play the best taylor hits, he played mid songs. After that they left way too early and kicked all of us out of the venue after one hour of playing music. And there was this guy on stage who thought he was the main character and it was so cringe.
Having been to several themed nights, this was easily one of the oddest. Sure the songs were fun and the pop tunes from the 2000s to now were exactly what we were wanting to hear. However, for a slew of advertised artists, this was pretty much exclusively One Direction music with 1-2 Taylor Swift songs, 1-2 Jonas Brothers, and 1-2 Justin Bieber songs. It was a bit bewildering the lack of variety in artists played, and that's coming from a One Direction (and general pop music) stan. If the lack of artists wasn't enough, the DJ was just weird... like uncomfortably so. He would ignore requests, but then go on several minute rants about how cool he felt up there, thanks to "us" and then play his self-proclaimed favorites. Regardless if the crowd was feeling it or not. He would switch songs halfway through. He would walk away to talk to his friends in the wings. And at the peak cringe moment of the night, he took his shirt off and did a strip tease completely unprompted, before bringing his girlfriend on stage and humping her in the air. Very different night from the Best Night Ever we were hoping to experience...
I have been to shows at the House of Blues before had a great time. I thought the show was going to be playing One Direction music but the DJ barely did at all. Would not come back for the Best night Ever.
I enjoyed being around a crowd wanting to have fun and dance
90% One Direction. One Direction songs were played all the way through, most of the other songs would be cut off (to play 1D). awkward transitions/flow. I think it's more Requests based rather then there being a setlist. At least that's what it seemed like. but it was okay. If you're a big 1D fan, you'll probably enjoy yourself more than I did. lol
Absolutely no 2010s music was played. The DJ clearly is too young to know good music from the era, so the experience was just run by a group of rabid boy band fan girls who also clearly didn’t know the music. 0/10, don’t bother.
The place was filled with security so I definitely felt safe in the facility, the air conditioning helped a lot with the heat from dancing and singing. The place was filled with amazing energy and it felt amazing !
My best friend and I went to the concert and we would so do it again!!!!!!
