I would have had so much more fun if this wasn't advertised as a Taylor Swift event. There were about 50% Taylor Swift songs and 50% just throwbacks. Additionally, I wouldn't feel inclined to write a review but not playing Taylor's Version of All Too Well sent me over the edge. Also, tickets were too expensive for only 2 hours of a DJ.
Perhaps I should've been more realistic in my expectations, but I was under the impression that a Taylor Swift Best Night Ever would be at least MOSTLY Taylor Swift. I was evidently mistaken. The DJ played Taylor Swift about every 3rd or 4th song. Even when the crowd made it obvious why they showed up, chanting, "Taylor Swift," the DJ shut down the crowd, explaining that that's not really what the night was going to be. Honestly, the event was a complete let down.
It was a fun night but if you’re expecting to hear Taylor Swift/whatever the artist is the whole night, you’re going to be a little disappointed. If you appreciate them sprinkling in some other throwbacks like One Direction, Miley Cyrus, HSM, you’ll have a great time!
I bought tickets for the “best night ever party: Taylor’s version” that was advertised for 8:00. The show didn’t actually start until 9/9:15 and they really didn’t play many Taylor Swift songs, and even repeated a TS song that they had played earlier in the night. I had a good time dancing and singing along to Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, etc., but for an event advertised as “Taylor’s version” I expected a large majority, if not all, the songs to be Taylor Swift. The DJ did not even start the night off with TS. I am disappointed that the advertising was off, but I had a good time overall.
I was a disappointed to hear a mix of Disney star songs back to back. I would have preferred the event to be solely Taylor Swift related since that’s how it was advertised.
Truly one of the “Best Night’s Ever” !! Had a blast singing the night away. Dj was great and entertaining as well!
My friends and I definitely had fun, but no deep cuts were really played... also the DJ was fine but for a Taylor Swift-themed event should be a woman!! That's what taylor would want. Last- I think their should be more interaction between the DJ and audience. Still fun though, but just a macbook on a stage is not that exciting... pretty genius business idea though
The DJ clearly wasn’t a Swiftie- played way too many old country songs and missed a lot of key winners. Definitely felt like he was phoning it in by relying on requests but that’s not how you put on a show. Also requests didn’t work because venue had no reception. Lastly, there should have been some visuals projected or something. My takeaway was we had fun but they’re definitely working on making a quick buck without too much work.
I’m 58 years old seen Taylor live twice with my daughter brought her and her friends to the show had a lot of fun music was great. DJ was very energetic did a great job.
I might have missed the fine print, but I was thinking this event was going to be performed by live musicians. I was disappointed when we got there to find out it was just a DJ. He was great, however, and we enjoyed ourselves.
They switched DJ’s and I wish they hadn’t. The guy that usually hosts is AMAZING and takes requests and lets you on stage. This new DJ was not the best. Kept saying he was taking requests but never played them, just played the songs his friends on stage wanted to hear. At one point he said “can you guys tell this is my first gig?” Yeah my guy, we can.
it was so much fun. pls pls pls pls do a one direction one. i stg you will make so much money. PLEASE. i’m begging.
I was unsure of how this event would go, but I genuinely enjoyed this. DJ Alex was great and interactive & made sure to accept the crowd's song recommendations. I would definitely go again! My only critique was full songs were played, so it started to get a bit redundant / felt like the songs were dragging on.
Played a lot of depressing songs and only a few songs off midnights.
The started very well and they had a good mix of sad and upbeat songs. Though towards the end of the night the songs started losing theme. Also the event ended extremely early considering that it started so late.
This was my first themed dance party since college, and definitely my first “Best Night Ever” event. It was absolutely wonderful! The DJ was very kind and fun! I would absolutely recommend this event to other!
The night was great. Venue staff was fantastic but the DJ didn’t get the vibe. Too slow and the music didn’t match the upbeat nature of the crowd.
Was so fun. Went with some friends and we literally couldn't stop dancing for 3 hours straight. The DJ was very interactive so i 💯 recommended going to this event!
Easy check in! When my ticket wasn't pulling up online, they quickly printed me off one. The DJ was absolutely amazing! Only playing Taylor's version, hyping all of us up, and making it a very fun experience. The people there were very nice and respectful of each other. A couple people had amazing dance moves and everyone cheered them on. Only downside was miscommunication about water. We went to the bar to for water cups like we saw others had and the bartender said it was $5 so we just kept singing without water ... Not the best idea. When we left, we saw there were free water cups all across the counter which would have been nice to know. Overall, great experience!
I had a blast! I was relieved that it wasn't too crowded or hot. I was comfortable the whole time, and we had a blast. The staff was also amazing.
