  • Bob Mackie Gown!

by Mops on 6/15/23The Pasadena Civic - PasadenaRating: 5 out of 5

Bernadette Peters has not lost a step. Her performance was fun and flirty. Her emotions behind the voice were beautifully expressed. My experience with the Pasadena Auditorium was excellent. (My first time there.) Joyfully, traffic exiting was not a problem.

  • A joyful experience on Tony Sunday

by Woocan on 6/14/23The Pasadena Civic - PasadenaRating: 5 out of 5

We spent our 35th anniversary in the company of Bernadette Peters’ wonderful performance. It was a joyful experience and a very special day. Her talent and beautiful vocal range are amazing gifts that she shared with all of us last Sunday!

  • Overpriced mediocre show

    by v. P. on 6/14/23The Pasadena Civic - PasadenaRating: 2 out of 5

High priced tickets for a show with no production value, stale jokes and unfortunately, Ms. Peters’ voice falters. Waste of time and money

  • Great as always!

I've seen Bernadette many times starting in 1974. She is always great.

  • Spectacular!

Bernadette Peters, honestly what an entertainer. I laughed, I cried, and it was over way too fast. I love her 😍

  • Less Than Great Musical Selections

by CWillie on 6/13/23The Pasadena Civic - PasadenaRating: 3 out of 5

Ms. Peters still has the voice, but her selection of musical pieces left me cold and saddened. The many possible joyous sounding pieces of ROgers and Hammerstein, or Andrew Lloyd Webber were absent and the more monotonic pieces of Sondheim could have been left out. The best piece done was his “Send in the Clowns”. I left not as uplifted as I hoped to be.

  • FEEL THE BERN!

BP IS THE BEST! The voice, the presence, the HAIR, the humor. THE SONGS! Bernadette is delightful and a living legend. ❤️

  • Pretty good show

by Dr. Jones on 6/13/23The Pasadena Civic - PasadenaRating: 4 out of 5

She still is a fun performer, although her voice is not as strong as it once was. The rhythm section (piano, string bass, drums) were excellent. Sadly, the additional instruments (strings and winds) were mediocre.

  • Bernadette Time has stood still!

by Smokey on 6/13/23The Pasadena Civic - PasadenaRating: 5 out of 5

Bernadette was awesome but never going back to venue parking was a nightmare in hell with no parking attendants to guide weary crowd it was a shameful mess, people in wheelchairs and walkers had a really hellish expereince going up and down elevators parked level 19/20 was horrific find our way back to care, no thanks never again don't care who plays there!

  • Great concert

by uclawg on 6/12/23The Pasadena Civic - PasadenaRating: 4 out of 5

Bernadette Peters was in great performance shape, both physically and vocally. A wide range of musical offerings, with heavy on Sondheim. Most enjoyable, with a small orchestra backing her.

  • Bernadette Peter’s’ Concert was awesome

by BC on 6/12/23The Pasadena Civic - PasadenaRating: 5 out of 5

BERNADETTE PETERS’ Concert at The Pasadena Civic Center was exciting, entertaining, exhilarating, moving, touching, fun and FUNNY. What a voice ! What a woman ! She wrapped the 2900 seat packed house around her fingers and took us all on a vocal musical tour filled with joy, laughter and tears.

Amazing!! Lovely stage presence, moving about gracefully on her stilettos! The music and singing were wonderful too!!

  • Best Concert Ever

Bernadette Peters is a phenomenal performer, extremely talented, and absolutely charming. It was a wonderful evening and the best concert I’ve been to. I would 100% see her perform again.

  • a star in our galaxy

    by K. G. on 4/5/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Sooooo glad to be in her talented company, at last. After months of looking at my original ticket for Sept 12, 2020 i was thrilled the event could happen, finally. Splendid music choices (especially ALL the Into the Woods songs) and her chats in between. I hope she does love Seattle enough to return. Love you, Bernadette. and thank you...

  • Perfect For A Post COVID Outing

by The Melv on 4/5/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

It's been a long time for us to be away from live music. This oft postponed concert was a perfect entry back into concerts, events, and being with so many like-minded music lovers. Ms. Peters came out, sang, told brief anecdotes, and held her audience at full attention for the full 90 minutes. All this without costume changes, dancers, sprouting fountains, none of the usual contrivances of so many singers that seem to be distractions, not enhancements. All that was needed was Ms. Peter's voice, personality, and talent. Her choice of material was wide and eclectic varying in mood and styles with an obvious emphasis on Broadway and Sondheim. A perfect re-entry into the world of live music.

  • Sondheim lovers rejoice!

by Kris on 4/5/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Bernadette Peters gives a fantastic show! It's hard to believe that she's older than me but has twice the energy. Lots of great show tunes, mostly from Sondheim, with a few choice pop songs thrown in. Her rendition of "Fever" was a standout. She looks fantastic and her voice still knocks me out. It was a memorable evening.

  • Amazing lady

by DocbB on 4/5/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

She has barely slowed down, such a wonderful connection to the past and present

  • she really is great !

by fast fred on 4/5/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

bernadette peters looks great for a 44 year old, but she is 74. she can still sing, charm an audience, and break hearts. the venue, the paramount theater in seattle is an intimate dump with odd acoustics. i was in the sixth row center and the maybe 12 member orchestra sounded like they were in a locked room, down the hall and next door. also, the usher nazi got on me for drinking my beverage with my mask down, despite their website listing the specific exception for when you are actively eating or drinking, which i was. i didn't appreciate being scolded in front of my friends by the little twerp.

  • She is AWESOME!

by Margmn on 3/21/20Chandler Center for the Arts - ChandlerRating: 5 out of 5

Bernadette Peters has been a favorite of ours since her Carol Burnett days, and she did not disappoint us in Chandler! Her voice is beautiful and powerful, her style is fabulous and her personality warm and cozy. I’m so glad we were able to attend her performance!
