All the world's a stage, and the Spanish guitar is one of its greatest instruments. Benise is bringing his Flamenco-inspired pieces and tango-infused dance numbers to the stage, leaving all who hear him spellbound in his wake. Benise is a world-renowned guitarist who has brought his unique blend of Spanish guitar and world music to stages worldwide since the early 2000s. His 2022 tour, aptly named the "20th Anniversary Tour," showcases the best of Benise throughout the years by virtue of music and dance.
His passion for the guitar has taken him on an incredible journey from the streets of Omaha to busking in Southern California and finally to the world stage. Known as "The Prince of Spanish Guitar," Benise has been wowing audiences worldwide with his sizzling music and spellbinding dance for over two decades, rocking fans across the globe with his sultry blend of Spanish guitar and world rhythms, winning the hearts of millions of fans worldwide.
The result: a mesmerizing feast of sight and sound from which no audience member will ever want to escape. Benise has truly mastered an international style of music having been influenced by nearly every genre possible, with great depth and passion vibrating underneath.
Growing up on a farm in Nebraska, his devotion to rock music was palpable. That success was just a twinkle in Benise's eye before finally picking up flamenco music in 1994. From there, he met violinist Jim Sitterly, guitarists Gilberto Gonzales and Yussi, bassist Mychal Lomas, drummer Carlos Lopez, and percussionist CG Ryche and formed a band (also) called Benise.
Benise's sound is primarily influenced by flamenco music and incorporates elements spanning Brazilian samba, Cuban salsa, Parisian waltz, African drumming, and more. The magic happens by bringing together musicians from different countries to create a unique sound that melds their cultures through music.
A significant turning point in Benise's career came when PBS approached him to create a show for its "Great Performances'' series. He spent time writing and recording what would become "Nights of Fire!" -- which made its broadcast debut on public television stations nationwide in 2006 and subsequently won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Costumes for a Variety or Music Program.
Since its debut, "Nights of Fire!" has drawn in audiences of all types -- whether or not they have any familiarity with flamenco music. Dazzling lights, dancers and aerial performers make you feel like you're experiencing something transcendent rather than just listening to a concert.
Benise's ability to reproduce sounds from around the world makes him a force of nature. His original style has earned him worldwide recognition, while he continues to push the envelope. Don't miss out on this unique spellbinding performance and see Benise live when he comes to a city near you.

Loved the show! Very unique blend of music with excellent dancers to compliment the music. Well worth the price for a wonderful evening of entertainment. HOWEVER, the Neptune Theater (Seattle, WA) is WAYYYY past it's prime!! Dirty, inside and out, chairs packed in like sardines the neighborhood has seen better days. See the band!
We loved it , I really like the security in our way in yo the theater and Benise is great. Never knew such great guitarist and the dancers ; expectacular!!!
Roni Benise is a master on the guitar. His shows are exciting & I dare you to sit still!
It was amazing! I was taken by the love and devotion to the music and dance they displayed. You can see it in their face how its their passion. I recommend 100%
The staff were friendly and helpful. Seats were great. Venue was beautiful. The performance was even better than we anticipated. The dancers were an extra bonus! Outstanding show! We will definitely return!
We truly enjoyed the show! See you next year 💕
Enjoyed the entire show and experience. Great selection of songs and The Dancers made the performance spectacular. Would we return, in a heartbeat
We've been fans of Benise for about 15 years. His current tour features a new crop of talented and beautiful dancers. I was very worried when the opening song was a Led Zeppelin cover. Fortunately that was the only one we had to tolerate before he went on to better songs. Several of our favorites are still part of the show. Unfortunately there was no violinist at this show and our favorite songs weren't included. It's still a good show but doesn't come close to what we've seen in the past.
Mahaffey Theater has a leaky roof that dripped on my wife and I during the concert. I called the box office to complain about the situation. Now we are playing phone tag.
The musicians , the dancers, the scenery , a marvel
I took my aunt and we both loved it I was very impressed.
This performance is great! The music. The dancers, the musicians very professional. Excellent to get a break and enjoy!
The show was great as always. I just the venue would have contacted me to inform me that they moved our seats. We chose aisle seats for a reason. Other than that no problems.
Parking easy, then dinner across the street at "theHanger" then excellent seats, and Benise, his band, dancers! WOW! TOP Professional performers. Totally in to it! Wonderful staff at the Mahaffey!
I have seen Benise in concert three times with this past Saturday. I invited my sister (it was her first time) and my mom , which she had gone with me a few years ago to see him for the first time. As always, it was a remarkable show! I Highly recommend it. The children that I have seen also enjoy it as much as the adults. Its a concert for all ages. Its nice to see people smiling, dancing and just enjoying.
Excellent Batteries, Excellent Drums and ESPECTACULAR GUITAR !! He feels the music !! He plays with Love ! This was my first time but I hope I can see this show again next year ..
Quality, High performance with music and dancers. 2 hours with great entertainment and enjoyable. I recommended seeing Benise!
Pretty show, lighting, clothes, good percussion, was the really professional musician
Really enjoyed the show! And the theater was really clean. The only bad thing is that the air conditioner was leaking some water and we could feel the drops every so often. Also, at the entrance, It would have been helpful to add more people to scan the tickets so the line could move faster and we could have had a chance to have more time to enjoy our drinks before the show.
