If you already know about this show, it is worth EVERY PENNY to see it live. If you don't know about this show, stop reading this right now and go download some episodes on iTunes and give it a listen. It's one of the best things that has happened in the entertainment world in the last decade. It's wonderfully written, it has fabulous voice acting (and some great stage performance when you see it live), and it's completely hilarious.

I've listened to every Thrilling Adventure Hour podcast and have seen the live show each time they've brought it from LA to NYC. This year they moved the show from The Bell House to Town Hall. I was needlessly worried that losing the intimacy would detract from the show. The usual cast (Paul F Tompkins, Paget Brewster, Hal Lublin, Marc Evan Jackson, Craig Cackowski, Mark Gagliardi, Busy Philipps) was at top form and the the local guests (John Hodgman, Scott Aukerman, Scott Adsit, Jean Grae, Dick Cavett!, and many others) meshed in perfectly. The Sparks Nevada and Colonel Tick-Tock segments were wonderful, but Beyond Belief topped them both (Sparks Nevada is usually my favorite). Normally, the show runs under 90 minutes, but the segments were longer than usual, so the show ran about two and a half hours. The cast stayed around for another hour of meet and greets after the show. While the show is most fun if you listen to the podcast, I would recommend it even to novices.

The podcast is one of my favorite things on the internet, and seeing it live was an absolute blast! The camaraderie among the performers was obvious. Even when mistakes were made, it was highly entertaining. I recommend that you listen to at least a few episodes of the podcast first, but if you are familiar with the show, it is a MUST SEE!

Amazing night- Great cast, plots, timing- everything. We had a fantastic evening, the audience was upbeat and excited, and the cast went above and beyond. I sincerely hope there will be more East Coast shows!

Title says it all. Thrilling adventure hour... enough said. The show was great. If you like the podcast, seeing it live is a must. The raw energy and facial expressions add a whole new level to the show/
