Myself and a couple of friends drove 6 hours round trip to see this show and it was totally worth it! I can't wait to see them again. This was a show that I was really looking forward to so I was smiling when I went in and smiling when I left. During the show I laughed, cried, was breathless, was screaming and clapping, I had nearly every emotion.
It was a great fusion of traditional, tribal and modern belly dance. The Carolina Theater is a very intimate and nice theater close to cheap parking and lots of resturants.

This is a dance event that any red blooded male should love. Beautiful women, wonderful dancing, great costumes. Went with my wife and she loved it and I loved it. Cna't understand why more men were not there, very sensuous!
Exceptional. Never seen belly dancing like that. I would recommend it to anyone who can watch it.
What an amazing group of dancers! The variety of dancing styles - this probably isn't the belly dancing you think you know. Costumes are intricate, colorful and creative. The dress styles show off the dance moves much better than the pants. Music is lively and interesting. I wish more folks attended this events. They should advertise on the local campuses.

For the price of the ticket I was expecting much more. I've been to amateur belly dancing shows that seemed just a good. One or two of the dancers were standouts, but if you're calling the show "Bellydance Superstars" I would expect more than one of two. The rest just seemed average.
I took my husband to see this venue which was a total surprise for him (our anniversary). It was fun and lively. We totally enjoyed ourselves.
Phenomenally flawless show, intimate venue! Worth the trip from Phoenix to see them in Anaheim!
I have been attending Belly dance Superstars for 5 years now each time is better then the next and it was wonderful to be a part of their 10 year anniversary performance at the Grove in Anaheim CA... I have always loved the way the dancers and music so easily flow in on out of different styles of dance. Its is easy to see that every woman on the stage truly loves what they are doing....
Glamorous costumes, cabaret and Tribal bellydance, diverse choreography, Enjoyable Fanfare overall!
I love BDSS and have gone to their shows for 3 years now. The past 2 years they were in a theatre as they should be. This year they were in a live music venue which did not allow for good visability for everyone. I didn't like having to go early, buy cheap wine and freeze to get a good seat or else pay $25 xtra! I sure hope they come back to Kirkland next year or at least a real theatre with assigned seats.
The show was fabulous!! Enjoyed the dancers. Only downside was the venue.
I thought the show was really good, it was my first time attending an event like this and I must say "VERY GOOD" I like the three tribal dancers the best because they had the best moves and the coolest beats!
What an excellent performance given by one and all! It was very unique and even better than their show a few years ago at the Hawthorne Theatre. I loved that they incorporated some modern music into their performances as well as Indian and Middle Eastern music. The individual with the super long arms that could move like a snake and wrap around his entire head was an absolute stunner! How flexible! Awesome show worth seeing and I can hardly wait until they return to Portland again!
This show was much better last year .I will not be attending it next time they come in town.
I loved every second of the Bellydance Superstars performance!! I made me miss bellydancing a million times more than I already did!
This Bollywood-themed Bellydance Superstars performance had a wide variety of acts. There were some traditional bellydance performances (like a few drum solos), and there were Indian dance numbers that were a blend of Bollywood dancing and belly dancing. There were also several Tribal fusion numbers. The performers were all incredibly skilled and their enthusiasm made the atmosphere very festive. I would recommend this event to both dancers and non-dancers.
Amazing show! The integration of tribal with oriental bellydance was wonderful, and the Indian theme throughout was very strong.
