Thee Sacred Souls Stole the Show
Greek Theatre - Los Angeles
Opening act, Thee Sacred Souls, were astounding. The lead singer Josh Lane is the best thing to come along since Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye rolled into one soulful package. The band, overall, is amazing. Their sound is unique. Frankly, they simply stole the show: Tennis and Belle & Sebastian pale in comparison.

Fantastic show!
Greek Theatre - Los Angeles
Our first concert since the pandemic began and it couldn't have been a better experience. The band were in great form, the sound was fantastic, and the song selection balanced the old and new perfectly. The band gifted the audience with love and joy. Don't miss this tour.

Great night but bad experience at the entrance
Greek Theatre - Los Angeles
As we were going through the entrance, I was told I can't enter the premises with my Fuji x100v camera. I asked what difference they see between that and my iPhone camera that was right next to my Fuji in the tray. They said that the problem is that the Fuji is an interchangeable lens camera. I told them no, it isn't, it's a fixed lens camera; the iPhone on the other hand has three lenses in it. They said that may be the case but the Fuji is still a zoom camera. I said, no it's actually a fixed focal lens camera so it cannot zoom. The iPhone however can. At this point the person told me flat out: "sir, your equipment is not welcome at this event". This negative experience put an unnecessary damper on an otherwise great night.

So good to see Belle and Sébastien live. Very enjoyable show. Felt like it was over too soon. Good times!

Amazing Fun Night
Greek Theatre - Los Angeles
Seeing Belle and Sebastian at the Greek was delightful! I went with a close friend and we had a blast. The price of the food was a little high, but it tasted way better than other venues (Sofi Stadium). We had great seats, the show felt so intimate! Will happily see any band at Greek - perfect venue!

Awesome concert
Greek Theatre - Los Angeles
Had an amazing time, both Tennis and Bell & Sebastian sounded fantastic. The Greek theatre was a perfect size venue for both those bands. I would go see both play again anywhere.

Great show! Great venue!
Greek Theatre - Los Angeles
I've been to some new venues lately, like the YouTube theater, where the sound design was a complete disaster. I was pleasantly surprised that an outdoor venue like the Greek had great sound, not only for the headliner, but also for the opening acts. Also, I really enjoyed the civilized nature of the Greek. Parking was easy and awesome, and the food was good. There were pleasant tables to eat at prior to the show and the lines were short. I really wish the Hollywood Bowl experience could be more like the Greek. I know it's a size thing, but I completely dread going to the Bowl now, while I was super happy with my experience at Belle & Sebastian.

B&S hot in Oakland but not the Greek
Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland
Great show started right on time. Some of Stuart's jokes were recycled from previous shows, but i do the same thing. Most called request "Just a Modern Rock Song" wasn't played. I wish it was. Look forgot to seeing them again. Cheers G

Great musicians but terrible sound system at the Fox made
Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland
I’m not going to the Fox for music until their sound system is upgraded. It’s literally the worst sound system in the Bay Area among music venues. At some point I had to close my ears it was so painful.
Belle and Sebastian are a Glaswegian indie band, known for their wistful, intellectual lyrics and melodic style and often compared to musicians such as Nick Drake and bands such as The Smiths. Many believe that they are the definitive sound of modern indie folk in Scotland. They formed in 1996, taking their name from the French children's book, Belle et Sbastien. Their sound is considered to be unusual and distinctive, and it has inspired a loyal following, although the band has never sought widespread commercial success and has in fact often shunned excess media coverage.
Originally signed to Jeepster Records, the band released a number of albums before signing with Rough Trade Records in the UK and Matador Records in the US. Their discography includes the studio albums Tigermilk, famous for being recorded in only three days, and If You're Feeling Sinister. They were both released in 1996, with the well known Boy with the Arab Strap released in 1998, Storytelling in 2002, The Life Pursuit in 2006, and Belle and Sebastian Write About Love in 2010. The band have also appeared on various compilation albums and live albums.
The band has received a number of award nominations, including the BRIT Awards' Best Newcomer, an Ivor Novello and the Mercury Music Prize. They also hosted their own music festival, the Bowlie Weekender, and were voted the Greatest Scottish Band by The List in 2005. Their music has appeared in a range of films, and they have toured throughout the UK, Europe and America. One particularly notable show was at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in front of a sell-out crowd of 18,000. Band members also worked to compile a CD collection of fresh children's songs along with a range of artists, including the Flaming Lips and Franz Ferdinand in 2006.
