by writebrained on 12/18/10Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandHoward Levi needs to be a regular. I can't imagine the performance without him. The rehearsals these people must do! Fabulous virtuosity. I often wished the lighting effects would back off so I could see the performers better. And the seating made for a stiff-necked audience when the music was calling to move move move.

He is the so incredibly talented and the Jazz Alley provided the intimate setting which made for a perfect date night! What a perfect way to celebrate him graduating law school and passing the bar exam! This was a very special night indeed! Thanks Bela!!!! :)

Perhaps it is the recession? the time of the year? Bela and the Flecktones did amazing renditions of Christmas songs --- the album should do well. BTW, drove up from Bellingham to see the show.
