Behemoth on Tour

The Polish extreme metal band, Behemoth, is on tour and fans are in for a show they will never forget. Fans of Behemoth follow the band for their extremist style and unapologetic black metal mastery. Behemoth will be burning up the stage, quite literally, with their signature giant flames, smoke effects and unusual antics that leave the crowd fired up to a new level. Behemoth got its namesake from a Biblical monster in the Book of Job. The Biblical Behemoth represents primeval chaos, a vibe not spared in any of Behemoth's songs or performances. The band will be touring 18 countries throughout Europe, playing sold-out shows.

Behemoth Live in Concert

Behemoth was formed in 1991 as a trio. The band was originally composed of Adam Nergal Darski (aka Nergal) on guitar/vocals, drummer Zbigniew Robert Promiński (aka Inferno) and bassist/vocalist Tomasz Wróblewski (aka Orion). The trio truly began their career with the release of their fourth demo album, 1994's ...From the Pagan Vastlands. Their first attempts at success were somewhat thwarted; however, with persistent touring and remaking their sound, the band finally signed a record deal with Italy's Avantegarde Music in 1998. Their fourth studio album, 1999's Satanica, was their first real attempt at gaining a strong foothold with their audience. The band encountered some lineup changes during this time, including the departure of original drummer Inferno. Nergal searched for a new drummer who could play as powerfully as Inferno had, but he was unsuccessful. In the year 2000, Inferno returned to the band, with new members Marcin "Novy" Nowak on bass and guitarist Mateusz Maurycy Śmierzchalski (aka Havoc). The band made a change to a new producer during this time as well, signing a deal with Mystic Production. Their followup album, 2000's Thelema.6, gained the band the success they had been looking for and made a name for them as a black death metal behemoth, garnering them worldwide press and media coverage. The band went on to find wild success over the next eight years. In August of 2010, Nergal was diagnosed with Leukemia. His girlfriend, Dorota Rabczewska, offered her bone marrow but was not found to be a match. Fortunately, a donor was found and Nergal eventually made a full recovery and the band went on to produce several more albums. Behemoth were subsequently chosen as a support act for Slipknot on their 2020 European tour. Behemoth's 2022 tour promises to be an unforgettable show, following their 30th anniversary.

  • Great show in a great venue

by Fishhook on 10/1/23Ace of Spades - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

It was an amazing experience. Behemoth was amazing and didn’t cut any corners in their performance. Twin Temples was something I never thought I would hear. Ace of Spades is a great club that is big enough to host the show but still feels small and personal. This is my second show now and I will continue to see bands through Ace of Spades. I much rather go to this venue then a big arena or amphitheater.

  • Outstanding

It all was perfect from the sound check til the end of the show. Crew members, staff, the band! All of them made it an amazing experience. Sound was unbelievable.

Worth every devilish penny. Would do it again. The venue is fun, little hot inside. The area to dance, great. Glad for a metal show. Behemoth, the gentlemen metal band

  • Great Show

by retrofred on 5/18/22Hollywood Palladium - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

What an amazing show. The band sounded awesome, and this was my daughters second live show. She rekindled a love I have for hard and heavy music. Behemoth and Arch Enemy were amazing and sounded so much live than I could ov imagined. The Palladium was my favorite place to see shows when I was younger, and still is. Can't wait for the show.

  • Behemoth

by Mattv on 5/18/22Hollywood Palladium - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible performance possibly the best metal show I have ever seen

  • 3/4 fulls

by joe on 5/18/22Hollywood Palladium - HollywoodRating: 4 out of 5

This show was spectacular, every performance was amazing. With the exception of Unto Others, the audio mixing for the better half of their set was atrocious and you couldn’t hear a thing. The mixing was fixed near the last 2 songs but you could see that the audio mixers were just on their phones during that time. Other than that, Behemoth, the headliner, didn’t get a real encore. And I think after such a spectacular performance, they needed one. Their set just sort of ended while Arch Enemy got one hell of an encore. Other than so, Napalm Death, Arch Enemy and Behemoth were incredible. Unto Others was unfortunately bogged down by the terrible audio mix during their set. Great lineup, would see this again.

  • 3 out of 4 Horns

by Recalcitrant Emu on 5/17/22The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

Behemoth - Amazing Arch Enemy - Amazing Napalm Death - Amazing Unto Others - literally ruined the entire show. They were a snore fest. It's amazing Nergal hasn't booted them for killing the crowd. Openers are supposed to help, not put everyone to sleep.

  • Envigorating

by Em on 5/11/22The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

Behemoth was heavy, dark, but encouraging at the same time. Free speech! Excellent guitars, drums, and theatricals. They gave it their all and enjoyed performing and bonding with the fans. Arch Enemy and Napalm Death were excellent as well. 100%!

  • Entertaining

by Mate Leao on 5/10/22The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

They are a fun and entertaining group to see if you get the chance. I had never heard of them before catching them with Slipknot a few years ago. Not the type of music I listen to everyday, but I like to be entertained. I'd probably see them again when the chance arises. Arch Enemy was great. I would like to listen to them some more. Napalm Death was also on the bill. As a 51 year old myself, to see 60+ year old angry punks is a little silly at this point in their lives. What are you angry about? You're living your dream.

  • Brutal and epic

by Joey on 5/10/22Rating: 5 out of 5

I saw them at the depot in Salt Lake City last Saturday and it was amazing! However I did not like Napalm Death or Do Unto Others, Do Unto Others sounded like they were trying to copy off of The Misfits and Barney the Napalm Death singer kept yelling like a caveman, but Arch Enemy and Behemoth destroyed them! They blew those bands out of the water

  • Phenomenal!

by Joey on 5/10/22The Depot - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

The first two bands were not that great, but as soon as Arch Enemy and Behemoth took the stage, it got even better!

  • I waited so long to see them

    by J. L. on 5/8/22Rating: 5 out of 5

I seen them at amplified live and i loved every moment of it. Did my first mosh pit and cant wait to see them again.

  • Had a phenomenal time

by Derek McNamee on 5/2/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Saw two good bands and saw two phenomenal bands. Behemoth and Arch Enemy really brought the house down. Amazing energy from start to finish. Unto Others and Napalm Death did a great job getting the crowd amped up, can’t say enough great things about the whole venue.

  • Amazing gig
