I saw one of the final shows, and even though Beetlejuice is now dead on Broadway, the cast and crew went out HARD!
A fantastic time spent with family enjoying an amazing performance!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the entire show!!!
Beetlejuice kept me laughing and cheering from the very first line to the last! Incredibly talented cast and crew, and the set and effects were amazing!!
The first broadway show I ever saw. Woke up at 3am, flew out of the ATL airport at 6am, landed at 8am and saw the show at 2pm. I left the theatre and immediately headed back to the airport and flew home. Longest but BEST day of my life. I landed and immediately went home and planned a trip for December (3 months later) and bought tickets to see it the week before XMAS. So glad I was able to see it twice before it closed. It was so funny and changed my life. For those that were not able to see it in NYC, make sure you see the tour! The show is AMAZING!!
This is a show for tweens and above. Not the usual sappy old style musical. It is ahead of its time. Well acted, well sung, original music material. The fact that producers decided to close down is a testament on how out of touch they are. They didn’t even bother a pro shot.
Loved the show The actors, songs and production was on point. My only issue was the price of drinks. We ordered a large wine and it was $50 dollars each so be warned.
Got tickets for daughter and boyfriend for Xmas . They love it and had a great time . Too bad it’s ending soon . Wish lots of luck to all ❤️
It's hard to tell to what degree my not loving the show was because we were one of the few people in the audience who had never seen the show, so everyone else was cheering wildly as each character appeared, as each set piece was about to happen, etc. vs. just not loving the music or the story all that much. The former made for fun in terms of the level of enthusiasm and energy coming from the audience, but it detracted from our ability to experience the show on its own merits. Also, the understudy for Beetlejuice performed, and while he was good, he did not have the vocal range of the original, nor did he have the charm. Our view was also partially obstructed, as we were on the far stage left, row H (though our closeness was great in that we could see the actors' faces well). Lastly, I thought it was just my 64 year old ears and brain that found it difficult to understand many of the lyrics, particularly from Lydia and Beetlejuice, but my 17 year old daughter had the same experience. She liked it more than I did, but not nearly as much as she'd expected to. Overall, I'd say it was pretty good, but not great.
Beetlejuice the musical has really helped me with some stuff and I am forever grateful to have found it, even if it was a bit late. My heart shattered when they announced their closing date on oct 1st bc I thought I would never get to see the show. I got surprised with tickets by my family on Christmas and cried many times that day. 2.5h before the show I was already shaking from excitement and all the adrenaline and started crying a few times on my way to the musical. I've got to be honest, I cried through the WHOLE act1 and because of all the adrenaline(+smth personal that happened afterwards)I don't quite remember too much of the show. And I'm currently very emotional about there only beeing 3 more shows before closing and the tour. Seeing all the instagram post also has a big impact on that. If you can go watch the show! I think it was a bit too short for my liking because I don't quite realise things that fast and still 4 days later back in Germany don't quite feel like I've been there.
I brought my daughter to the show and we both had a fantastic time. We didn't stop smiling or laughing during the entire show. We are so glad that we were able to see it before it closed.
I've seen most of the shows that have run on Broadway since the pandemic and hands down this is my favorite. It's a shame it's closing because it is the MOST FUN you will ever have on Broadway.
Second time seeing Beetlejuice in NYC. While we missed Alex, the Cast was fantastic and superb as every. Just a fun show! Great music and set design. Actors jive so well together. So sorry this musical didn't seem to get all the rave reviews that my family believes it deserved. Great job cast, crew, and the entire Beetlejuice Team. Well done!
I couldn’t love the cast and crew and show more! This show needs to be back on Broadway
This show was better than I could have imagined. True to plot and exceptionally delivered. Would see again and again.
Wow is all r can say! We saw six shows on Broadway in five days and this was our favorite! The special effects, the Bettlejuice understudy whole killed it and the whole cast was incredible!
I can't put into words how much this show means to me... It's incredible to step the first time into a 1'600 seat theater fully illuminated and welcomed by the iconic music... So much details only in the curtain! The set... The props... The costumes... Breathtaking! And it's impossible to concentrate on every thing... To see that show only once isn't enough. The actors were gods up there! Totally worth to travel around the world for it!
Fantastic show and there is nothing i can say here that will do it justice. Its a real shame that its run on broadway is coming to a close. Hoping that the rumours of the show coming to the London west end are true.
Intimate theatre with VERY colourful, bright lights. Main characters were played by understudies who did a wonderful job. Language in places was a bit fruity, so maybe not a show to take small children. Overall a fun and enjoyable show
Very fun! My wife loved it, she was looking forward to seeing it since forever and I finally got us tickets and it was worth it. Very funny good humor. Closely follows the movie. Recommended to all.
This was the best broadway show I’ve watched! So good and definitely want to see it again and again and again.
