Wonderfully executed. Captivating. Kept our attention and pulled us into their world. Humorous elements worked great for all ages. The music and singing were excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!
This was my third time seeing Beauty and the Beast. I took my 11 year old daughter and her best friend. A couple of times I was a little embarrased by the actions and words by a couple of characters. My girls clearly got the adult meanings. Great acting and sets!
This was a very enjoyable play. Many excellent actors and the staging was outstanding.
This was such an amazing show. The performers were fabulous! Beauty and the beast is my favorite Disney movie and they followed the story line perfect. There were some added in parts which were cute and funny. The stage props were great, the lighting and the music was fantastic! Would recommend to everyone!
Beauty in the beast provided a full cast of characters in a play that was not not onlyA love story but provided comical events that kept you sitting on the interview see throughout the play. We have seen several beauty and the bees plays but the one in Fresno California was outstanding. Was even better thenNew York
The venue was great. The seats were great for the Price I paid. The show was good. The Beast was the same size as Belle (or it appeared that way from my seats).
The performance was true to the movie. All the songs from the soundtrack were sung in the performance. There were a few songs not in Movie, but they were fun and upbeat that added to show! The performance was close to 3 hours long. My four year old fell asleep toward the end because it was so late not due to lack of interest. Very limited merchandise for sale which was great for us because we didn't want spend a ton of money on kids impulse desires. My only complaint was the audio was a little too low. It seemed as if the technical crew needed to adjust the sound s little bit.
Beauty and the Beast was very well done, the special effects and scenery were awesome, and the actors superb! My 7 year old grandson was on the edge of his seat for a good part of the play! The only small downside was sometimes the orchestra was a bit too loud in comparison to the actors' voices, but they did a great job of providing the sound effects in addition to the beautiful music.
What can I say? I've always loved Broadway productions in general. This was my first time getting to experience Beauty and The Beast and I was highly impressed with the sets, music, and of course THE CAST- (who got a well deserved standing ovation at the end of their performance!) The entire cast and crew of this show put on something truly amazing, and I would gladly see it again! If you enjoy good humor, catchy music, a classic plot, and a well made and colorful set, then Beauty and The Beast is for you!
It was the first and now not last beast and the beast play I've watched. Extremly good amazing. Loved the orchestra. The actors were amazing.
The show was fantastic. I loved how funny it was! The only thing I can complain about was the amount of crying babies but that's not the shows fault! I can't wait to go again!!
I took myself and my nine year old daughter to see this. She truly enjoyed the play, even if it was the older version of the story she still liked all the singing and the whole play in its self.
I took my four year old granddaughter. She was very excited. I prepped her ahead of time that this is not like the Disney version and there would be different music and the story might be different. The first thing that annoyed me was it was too loud. It made it difficult to hear the words, because it was so loud. The venue, Tilson Music Hall, on Indiana State campus had very good acoustics, so that was not the issue. This was geared toward families in the advertisement. Children are sensitive to loud noises. My granddaughter held her ears from the first song. The content because of the loudness was too intense for her and she ended up screaming, "I want to leave! Take me home!!!" as the story became more intense as the "thunder" was deafening. I do not recommend this for young children, however, for older kids it would be appropriate. I have friends who took their older kids and they liked it. All in all, it would have been good if it had been turned down a few notches.
The " beast" outline leads one to think of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. It is far from it! My children were a little disappointed.
First, let me say that Disney's Beauty and the Beast is my all-time favorite Disney movie. However, this production managed to take a story that I love and turn it into a boring, less than mediocre version. I was very disappointed. It was a waste of $65.
Watching the Beauty & Beast play was like a fairy tale that has come to life right before you very eyes. All the little kids that attended were in complete awe. Great show & a job well done!

Play was outstanding. I felt like I was watching movie all over again. Great costumes and the songs the group sang were amazing.
