I absolutely loved it. I've been to many plays and to my surprise it turned out to be one of my favorites. Kept me engaged the whole time and the actors were fantastic.
I really enjoyed the show. I would go to see another one at this venue however I would take into consideration the seating.
An all family affair. So it will delight the young an over.
I've been to theatre performances all over the world and this production compared quite well. The stage added some limitations to the presentation, but the production crew and cast made them seem very minor. This was something I looked forward to as I brought my 5 year-old grand daughter for her very first on-stage musical. It held her attention with nary a squirm. Loved the experience and atmosphere.
So far this is one of the best shows I've seen! I took my mom who is 70 years young and she was laughing so hard and smiling throughout! This is great for young and old alike! Families and couples! They performance was so perfect and had us at the edge of our seats. The actors/actresses were 100% with their characters. The theatrics and electronics were surreal. Great play!!
The show was great loved every second.The venue was so hot though it was hard to be comfortable being so hot
I got the limted view seating and still saw everything was a great performance would see again.
This was an excellent show. I did not expect it to be so big and high-budget looking. With the exception of the prince, the casting was almost perfect. From Lumiere to Belle's dad to Mrs. Potts, everyone looked the part. The show-stealer, however, was Gaston. Tall and smug, the actor portrayed the character perfectly, and when he was off stage you'd be waiting for him to come back on. The three girls who adore Gaston were also fantastic. The glaring miscasting was the prince, and this is an important role because the whole story is building up to his reveal at the end. But when he finally shows his face, he looks nothing like the handsome animated character. He was short and stocky. Looks aren't everything, but when the other cast members are so spot on, his casting sticks out.
I've seen the show at Disney in Orlando before but this was much better. My 5 and 4 year old granddaughters loved it. The singing was very good. I especially enjoyed Melissa Jones as Babette, wow .
This show was worth the price of the ticket I paid for 3 tickets to sit center stage in orchestra about 15 rows back. Perfect location to watch an awesome show! Unforgettable!
Beauty and the Beast was really, really good. The cast, the music and special effects were awesome! My daughter and I were entertained from the time the show started till the very end we were captivated. Everyone in this show should be very proud of this production! Well done!
Beauty and The Beast was outstanding from the singing to the dancing to the overall performance.
I bought some tickets for my wife about 6 months in advance. The buying ticket experience was pretty straight forward. The show was amazing! I could not have asked for anything better. The audio was a little off at the beginning and at the climax of the show (Be our guest Number) but other than that, it was great! The twist on some acts, the jokes, the quarks, the little effects, they were all great!
Great show! All of the acting and singing was unforgettable! The actor for Lumierre stole the show for me! Great job everyone!

I attended with my 10 year old daughter. The show was good, but I had higher expectations and as such was a bit disappointed. Some of the humor in the show was crude. Sound was a bit off at times...maybe mic placement on the actors. Casting could have been better - Belle had a deep/rough voice and the Beast was only a few inches taller than Belle - hardly enormous or intimidating. The actors that portrayed Gaston and Lumiere were PHENOMENAL! Show is long...almost 3 hours including intermission. In the future, I would pay more and travel to see this show in a different venue such as the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, TX. Other guests at the Selena Auditorium did not seem to know proper etiquette for a Broadway show - they were loud, on cell phones (which then prompted ushers to come and shine lights on them), arriving late, coming in and out of aisles, etc.
We had a fantastic time at this show. The actors performed their hearts out, and the chemistry between the cast was contagious. Everyone had a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend this show. There is a lot more comedy than the Disney film, and it adapts perfectly for the stage. Expect to laugh and have a great time. The souvenirs are reasonably priced as well.
Good show for the whole family. Cast was good all around but Gaston stole the show.
The show was amazing!!! I really wish there were more broadway shows in Corpus Christi.
Good if you have kids. I would not recommend it for those without kids.
