    Beatlemania Now

by nowee on 2/23/16Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

The show was good but too short for the money. They guy that played Paul was great, sorry but the others just did not seem to be in the groove. Sound was poor at times as the speakers cracked on some songs. The small string section was also great but hard to hear at times.

    Mediocre at best

by Bigshirley on 2/23/16Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

The sound quality was awful, Speakers were screeching and tons of feedback! The bass was so overpowering. Almost seemed like there was some lip sinking happening and canned music? Lady next to us was more interested in facebooking than watching the show, how rude!

    Beatlemania was fab!!

by yaffee16 on 2/23/16Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

This was the best concert I have been to since seeing the Beatles in 1964. I was and still am a very big Beatles fan and these guys did a great job making me think I had gone back in time. The orchestra was great too! I wish there was another concert scheduled because I would definitely go to see them again. Front row seat was also a great thing too.

This show was memorable for all the wrong reasons. No interaction between the band members; very few songs played/sung by "John". We wondered if George or John had the flu as they were so lifeless... Very disappointing. Sound was bad, lots of mike issues...it felt like a "run through" of the Beatles hits w/ a few costumes and karioke.

    Beatlemania was forgettable

by kozze on 2/23/16Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

Sound system was terrible. Frequent feedback type noise from the speakers ruined the show. Many times, Lennon's voive could not be heard. The orchestra was often drowned out.

    Beatlemania not enough

by TLGray on 2/23/16Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

Was disappointed with over all sound. Must of the songs were hard to hear the words due to aweful bass and terrible sound. Left out songs that made the Beatles so popular and didn't get the crowd into the music until the very end. Very short concert, not worth the money

    Good Show

by usherwoman on 2/23/16Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

I liked most of the show, especially the first part and the last part of the show. The group was very friendly and good at drawing the audience into the show.

    Disappointing

by Anonymous on 2/23/16Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

It was a short show- 2 hours total with a 25 min intermission. The sound check beforehand was not done properly. There was a ton of feedback throughout the whole show. The man playing Paul McCartney was chewing gum on stage . It was just not the professional quality I expect to see at the Hippodrome. The songs that were played were good & the sounded like the Beatles. With such a short show, a lot of music was missed.

    Pretty disappointed.

by KJBaltimore on 2/23/16Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - Baltimore

This was not one of my favorite Beatlemania Now performances. Sound was terrible,,,speaker/microphone problems. Not a great setlist considering all the songs to choose from. Just overall pretty disappointing.

    Beatlemania Now- OK

by MrsGoodkind on 1/25/16Shubert Theatre - New Haven

Beatlemania Now at the Shubert Theatre was OK. It was great to hear the old Beatle songs, but the music itself and the singing was a little off. At times I thought they may have been lipsynching. The drummer seamed bored and none of them looked like they were having fun.

Could have been so much better

by BeatlesFan111 on 1/25/16Shubert Theatre - New Haven

In terms of music, it was great. My biggest issue with the event was the location- it was at the Shubert which really doesn't have any dancing space and you really shouldn't be made to be seated through a concert like this one.

I thought the performance was just okay. The wigs were awful. The way the guys mimicked the behaviors and expressions of the Beatles made them look more like caricatures. Lennon often looked like a bad Disney animatronic figure. That being said, it was an entertaining evening. The music is classic. Paul and George sounded great.

This review is based on the first half of the show as we left during intermission. The show wasn't engaging, it seemed as the artists spent more energy on getting the audience to clap along than on delivering a good performance.

Scot Arch has always been a favorite 'John'. Here, he has put together a dedication to the band that picked up the rock and roll baton from America and began an invasion of British groups who continued this American music form, bettered it, and made it a world-wide standard of achievement. The songs are ageless, timeless, and powerful. The Beatles!

    beatlemania now

by letitbe2473 on 1/3/16firekeepers casino - battle creek,

Where do I begin,,,, For a start, they could a been a local Beatle tribute band, not a nation wide tour act. First, the vocals were for the most way off key.not strong on guitars,or drums, plus, only one Ringo song . They lack persona in the presentation of the songs. It would seem they are in it for the $$ & not to please the patrons. Way too much video background, not related to the song at hand/ So there is nothing good I may say, except,if you are looking for a great ttibute band, look to The Fab Four, or Mersey Beatles, you will be totally satisfied all around Having been a musician for over 50 years, & seeing Sir Paul & Ringo many times,if you are to be a tribute band do it good, not slop your way into it. In summary, save your $$$ for the best, not these guys.

    Not impressed

by Thistle215 on 10/13/15St. George Theatre - Staten Island

I love the venue - the St. George Theatre is a great place. The show on the other hand was not as I had hoped. "John" sang too slow and was trying too hard to make the accent heard. "George" looked like he didn't want to be there. "Paul" and "Ringo" were good. I also thought the show was too short. They played for about 40 minutes, took a 15 minute break and then played for another 40 minutes. Show started at 8:10 and was over by 9:50.

    Beatlemania mahyem

by Cookie259 on 10/13/15St. George Theatre - Staten Island

I really enjoyed the show. The band sounded and looked like the Beatles!! Lights and costumes were amazing too. My only complaint is that there was a sign for a meet and greet and they never showed. We waited 20 minutes to be informed they were not coming out.

    Good show

by bronxbombers7 on 10/12/15St. George Theatre - Staten Island

I thought the guys were great. The tributes to John Lennon on his birthday were tremendous. My only negative was that I thought they should have played longer. They were only on stage for about an hour & twenty minutes.I thought they could have talked a little more about the history of some of the songs.

    Beatle Mania Now -

by ZMan13 on 10/12/15St. George Theatre - Staten Island

Costumes great. Song choices great. The best musician was the guy on keyboards in the back. (not a Beatle) He seemed to be playing all the songs. McCartney - Didn't look like him but mannerisms were spot on. Lefty bass player. Singing very good Lennon - Looked nothing like early Lennon but better in the later years. Singing average Harrison - Again nothing like early Harrison, better later. Great guitar, fair singer Starr - Pretty good all the way through. Really captured essence of Ringo. Not so great later years.
