BEARTOOTH IN CONCERT:

Beartooth, the hardcore punk band of former Attack Attack! frontman Caleb Shomo, is quickly climbing the ranks with their scream-along anthems and showstopping performances. Shomo cuts an energetic figure on stage, jumping around to tracks like "I Have a Problem" and "Beaten In Lips" while the band's guitarists crowdsurf through the audience. An up-and-coming act who've already proven their performance chops on the Vans Warped Tour, Beartooth have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting the opportunity to headbang along to all their favorites on the band's upcoming dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Columbus, OH-based punk band Beartooth was formed in 2012 by singer Caleb Shomo after his previous project Attack Attack! disbanded. Shomo wrote, produced, and played all the instruments on the project's 2013 debut EP Sick, recruiting a band afterwards for future recording and touring. The new lineup released their full-length debut album Disgusting in 2014 to critical and commercial success, landing at No. 6 on the US Hard Rock Albums chart and placing within the Top 20 on several other charts. An electrifying live act, Beartooth thrilled fans with the announcement that they would play the entire Vans Warped Tour 2014.

Unreal. Whole place was going wild. You didn’t even have to go in the mosh pit to mosh

Never have I been a part of such an energy filled crowed all having a blast listening to such awesome bands. So thanks Beartooth for providing such an amazing experience. Although sore from all the moshing and surfing I gotta say it would feel wrong otherwise if I wasn’t hurting all over.

    A night to remember!!!

    by Melinz96 on 9/19/18MTELUS - Montreal

The performance by both opening acts and beartooth was amazing!! The setup between bands was really fast and the sound quality was excellent!! It was my first time seeing Beartooth and it won't be the last!! The way Caleb interacted with the crowd halfway through the set with his speech was moving and inspirational and it just made my love for them that much stronger. There was always someone in the crowd that was selling beer and water which is something I had never seen before, especially when there's a moshpit happening and was greatly appreciated since I didn't have to give up my spot in the crowd!!! I highly recommend checking out this venue for upcoming events

    Bang your heads to this!!!

by Anonymous on 11/19/16EXPRESS LIVE! (formerly LC Pavilion) - Columbus

The show was awesome! From the opening band all the way to Beartooth! Last show of tour and their hometown! What an amazing show! Sounded amazing and clear and the lights were just as great! But the band carried so much energy. I will never miss a Beartooth show again! Bang your heads to this!

by MetalHead7991 on 11/17/16EXPRESS LIVE! (formerly LC Pavilion) - Columbus

Not only was every band great, including the opener, the crowd was amazing, and the venue was top notch. The sound was fantastic as well, some of the best I've ever heard at in indoor venue. I would definitely go to another show at Express Live, and I would recommend it to anyone.

    Beartooth continues to impress!!!

by Montana913 on 11/11/16House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

Beartooth's show at the House of Blues Cleveland continues to show that band is a force to be reckoned with. With two strong albums under their belt, the band standouts among all of the new metal core groups. Unlike most of their peers, the band makes every attempt to connect with the audience rather than to play like robots on stage and ignore those in attendance. Beartooth's aggressive style and sing along lyrics allow the band to connect with and expand their ever growing fan base.

    Beartooth was a sick show.

by SammmSkyeee on 11/7/16Upstate Concert Hall - Clifton Park

I was able to get great photo and video footage of the whole show. Open Wounds is a band I'd never heard of, and they were amazing. Blew my mind. I'd 10/10 see them again. Fit For a King as usual was fantastic. I've always liked that band. Great show appearance and greater sound. Bobby Lynge shook my hand and said hey at the end of the show and I just about pissed my pants. Thanks, lmao. Every Time I Die was awesome- like so much enthusiasm and movement and METAL. Loved it. Great show. And of course, BEARTOOTH kicked absolute ass. Caleb, dude, you are a God. He also shook my hand at the end of the night. Met my boyfriend, made him cry. 11/10. <3

    Beartooth Has My Heart.

by HunterHorror on 11/1/16The Underground - Charlotte

While All The Bands That Played That Night Were Amazing I Did Go Specifically To See Beartooth And They Did Not Disappoint!! This Is The 3rd Time I've Seen Them And While You Could Not Get On Stage It Is Not A Very Big Place So It Was Easy To See Them And Hear Them. People Were Crowd Surfing And Moshing. It Was Insane!! Beartooth Played For An Hour And A Half!! They Even Did An Encore!! I Would Recommend This Venue. Parking Was Easy And Free Right Across The Street. They Had Beer And Water. No Extra Cash For Being Underage. Even Though I'm 22 I Asked. Haha. Overall I Have Been Calling That Night The Greatest Night Of My Life!! I Was Sore And It Was A Long 3 Hour Drive Home But It Was All Worth!!

    Beartooth

by Insayne on 10/26/16Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Love Revolution Live club it's my new favorite place to go. Even in the mosh pits the people are courteous never trampling on anyone. First time seeing Beartooth was well worth the wait. The opening bands Old Wound, Fit for a King and Every time I die all pretty much sounded the same. I like the stage presence of Old Wounds the best even though the audience roared more for Every Time I Die I liked Old Wounds better. Can't wait to hear what kind of voices these singers will have in 10 years time with all the screeching they do.

    Beartooth is beastly!

by IAmPandaPants on 5/21/16Port City Music Hall - Portland

Former, was a decent band but they are still a baby band and they have a long way to go. I'm interested to see how they sound on there first full album. My ticket home, was my second favorite out of the lot. They had a good sound, good communication with the crowd and knew how to pump the crowd up. Stray from the path, I honestly didn't like them at all. I did not enjoy the random rapping, or about how hypocritical the lead singer was. He was talking about the bombing attacks in Paris, violence against females at shows. He knew how to pump a crowd up.. BUT he did it in a violent way. He wanted "chaos in the pits" and for us to "jump on top of each other" he asked for violence over and over after giving these big speeches about anti violence so that kind of pissed me off. As for Beartooth they were awesome as always. They played 3 new songs off there new album. I could tell Caleb Shomo was pissed about the pa and how everything was playing back but he continued to go on. I also really liked that beartooth kept coming out to watch the other bands which is so respectful and good to see not all headlining bands will do that. I could hear the issues with the pa only because I'm trained to, otherwise I don't think anyone else noticed but it did happen with the other bands to.

    Beartooth was insane!

by BasicMetalHead on 5/9/16Masquerade - Atlanta

This was by far my favorite concert that I have been to. it was crazy. Beartooth is my favorite band and I got to be so close to them. I didn't know the opening bands before the concert but now I am a huge fan. The crowd was crazy and I ended up with some bruises from crowd surfers but it was worth it! Beartooth puts on such an amazing show!

    Beartooth was crazy

    by Nick94657 on 5/7/16Masquerade - Atlanta

The show started an hour after the start time on the ticket, but that was about the worst thing about the entire thing. So we got there really early. However, we got to see 4 bands for the price of what we thought was just 1, which was great. All the bands were good, but My Ticket Home and Stray From The Path got the house moshing which was great. But Beartooth of course was incredible. As for the venue itself, it looks run down, but I love it. It really resembles the type of place I think that this type of music is home at, and it's so memorable and has so much character.
