Terrible line up with overlapping time slots. Great city. This was a great festival in the past but was NOT this year.

    ALWAYS A GREAT TIME

by CC023 on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

Wow! $95 for a 3 day music festival in historic Memphis, TN & partying on Beale Street afterwards! Lenny Kravitz & Smash were both soooooooooo good! Just amazing! We saw so many groups again & met new friends & just had a great time as always! This is our 6th year in a row! Wouldn't miss it!

    flaming lips was life changing

by andruku on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

All the music and venue was great. Flaming lips, John Fogerty and Cage the elephant put on the best of the best.

    Solid Artists. Poor Experience.

by festival615 on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

It's 2015, but the event didn't allow mobile checkin. There was only 1 will call booth. Trash piled up unreasonably over the course of the weekend. And vendor food was undercooked.

Wonderful event. Very well organized. Easily accessible. Reasonably priced. Lots of food and drink options. Fantastic line-up. Great sound quality from each stage. Considerate and polite fellow attendees.

    Crowds

by Patblome on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

Not sure what happened Friday. Friday is usually the easiest day of the fest for crowds. Beer lines were ridiculous. They must have cut back on vendors. Get it fixed by Saturday.Beale Street is starting to get too crowded after the shows. It might help if they were to extend to no cars area a couple of blocks to ease congestion. I found paying a cover charge to get into a bar was the best bet. None of the locals seem to be doing that.

Past years had better line up than this year

by PghRoadTripWarrior on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

Everything was great, as usual. Venue, security, lines, vendors, etc. except the line up this year was a bit weak. 2013 / 2014 were phenomenal, but this year really was lacking. A group of us have been traveling from Pittsburgh for the event for three years now. We'll continue to come to Memphis, but will decide if we attend the event based on next years line up. We've even discussed buying a single day ticket instead of the advanced three day passes. Just due to the lack of edm and performers we enjoy.

    Ed Sheeran

by hackmesser on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

Amazing. Great sound. Ed Sheeran puts on an incredible show and was fantastic. Also enjoyed Elle King (glad I didn't bring the kids, lots of language and inappropriate content but enjoyable), Kaiser Chiefs, Hozier. They were all outstanding.

    Great Weekend in Memphis

by Anonymous on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

Oh wow, what can I say. The stages were down by the riverfront and the area was great. It was a bit of a walk to the furthest stage but still nothing unreasonable. Beer and food were surprisingly cheap inside the gates, i was pleased. Easy walking distance to downtown Memphis for before and after the concert. All of the performers were amazing and sounded great. Ed Sheeran killed it on Sunday, one of the best performances I've ever seen. Friday night was also truly special with the Flaming Lips breaking out all the stops. Highly recommend this weekend festival to anyone in the future, they get great bands, create a great venue, and have a great atmosphere

    Beale Street Was Amazing!!

by Adp98 on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

It was amazing! All the performances was great. Hozier, Breaking Benjamin, Awolnation, Paramore, and Ed Sheeran were just a few of the great performances. I can't wait for next years festival.

We've been going to the Beale St. Music Fest for years and it keeps getting better! The music is great, the food is good, and the people watching superb. My only complaint is there are no water fountains and buying bottled water at $3 a pop racks up on hot Memphis days.

    Beale Street Music Festival 2015

by Holmes34 on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

Another year has come and gone for the Beale Street Music Festival. I had a great time. The best thing about the festival was the weather in my opinion. It was three days of sunshine. I saw most of the bands that I wanted to see. If I had to complain, I would say that a lot of the headlining bands played on the same night at the same time. That sucks if you like more that one genre of music like I do. But hey, sometimes that's how the balls bounces. I would like to see more hard rock/heavy metal acts included at next year's festival. Of Mice & Men represented extremely well. I can't wait to see them on other tours. Lenny Kravitz, John Foggerty, Hozier, Ana Popovic, Lindsey K., Ed Sheeran, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band were my favorites. The festival drew a large crowd this year. There were very few incidents if any at all this year. Memphis Police and Shelby County Police did an excellent job with crowd control. I also liked that there were so many food choices. If you've never been, I would highly recommend anyone to attend at least one year. For the price (which is $75.00 during the presale), you can't beat all of the music that you get.

This is one of the best music venues I have been to. The location is amazing, the shows run on time and there are plenty of food/drink vendors for the crowd.

    Great Value

by MemphisFestivalFan on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

Although you dont get the packed line-up of Jazzfest in New Orleans, you get varied music, popularity, and generational all in one venue without the expense of New Orleans. The other notable issue is music begins mid to late afternoon and runs late into the evening. So depending on age this may be an advantage or disadvantage to you.

    Excellent Weekend!

by rusty2x on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

You can't beat the variety and value with this festival!! If you buy early, you basically get in for $25.00 per day. Nice mix this year again, as always! Perfect, beautiful weather too!

    Awesome weekend of music!

by nevergiveup on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

Had a great year at the festival. The weather was unbelievable! The music was incredible. Memphis food and friendliness topped everything off perfectly! If I had to voice one complaint, it would be the port-a-potties. They had trouble keeping them stocked with TP and hand sanitizer.

    Elle King and Hozier, awesome!!!!

by Sunnyday610 on 5/6/15Tom Lee Park - Memphis

I had only been to this music festival once in the past about 22 years ago and since then had heard horror stories about the crowds etc. but I was determined to see Elle King and Hozier so decided to go. We had a great time, everyone was nice and it was crowded but not like people had described to me in the past.
