Keith Urban and Taylor Swift were awesome!!!

by freckleface1 on 5/30/10LSU Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge

All of the performers were great. Really enjoyed Gloriana, David Nail, Kellie Pickler. Keith Urban and Taylor Swift were outstanding though. Not only was the performerances good but the entertainment was phenomenal. Our tickets were right in front of the sandbox on the left side of the stage. The performers came in front of us serveral times! Lots of security around and I was glad to see it. Didn't have any issues with other people so that was good. Overall the concert was great. Tiger Stadium looked awesome!!

    Enjoyable~

by DownSouth1 on 5/30/10LSU Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge

It was GOOD! But myself and my family thought the sound was WAY TOO LOUD! And of course, as expected the concessions were WAY OVERPRICED!! But otherwise we enjoyed it! Oh, and did not like having to pay to park after already paying to attend the event~

The show was totally amazing. Keith Urban would have done great by himself. He was so enthusiastic and happy. Taylor Swift was BEYOND AMZING. Her voice was beautiful and her backgrounds and outfits were brilliant. She is very talented and an amazing performer

    Great Setting in Tiger Stadium

by rotter on 5/30/10LSU Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge

Keith Urban was awesome. Much better performance than I expected. Taylor Swift had a good show and the background effects after the darkness set in. She commented that this was her first perfomance in an outside stadium and was noticeably moved by the crowd.

Bayou Country Superfest - Well worth it:)

by txgo4fan on 5/30/10LSU Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge

Taylor Swift vs. Keith Urban - the concert organizers took a gamble and made the teenager the headline act. A first in her career. Not to disappoint the 45,000 plus in attendance (many of them pre-teens oohing over Ms. Swift). While the crowd enjoyed Ms. Swift, the concert was started by Gloriana - who played chart topping hits for a very small amount of time, followed by David Nail (one hit on the country charts) and then Kellie Pickler. Pickler excited the crowd with some of her hits and was entertaining. But the highlight was Keith Urban who played for more than a hour and a half. He belted out chart topping hits from his greatest hit cd and even went into the crowd. Urban entertained the crowd with a small band support, whereas Swift was a performer with all the bells and whistles to not disappoint the screaming pre-teens. I would suggest to the Bayou Country Superfest to get some better know artists than Gloriana and Nail to start the concert.

    Amazing

by pmbbellan on 5/30/10LSU Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge

That was the best concert I have ever been too. I hope they put on another one next year. The show was great and the acoustics of the stadium made the show unforgettable. As good as any football game in Death Valley

    Do it again next year

by Myvikeswin on 5/30/10Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge

Great show, great people, great weather (a little rain, but we all know it never rains in Tiger Stadium) and wonderful talent. I wasn't a Keith Urban fan before yesterday, but I really thought he nailed it. My daughter couldn't sit still from the time Taylor got on stage until she finished. I sure hope they do it again next year.

by superfestattendee on 5/30/10LSU Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge

Bayou Country Superfest was so much fun! It was great to see so many country stars in one venue. Tiger stadium was PACKED and there was SO much energy in the crowd. I would definitely recommend this event and attend again. I hope they bring it back next year with even more artists and more "Fan Fest" activities!

    Bayou Country Superfest was awesome

by animaldoc1 on 5/30/10LSU Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge

Bayou Country Superfest was awesome. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves country music. Keith Urban put on a great show. He sings great in person and is very genuine. Kelli Pickler is so cute and she sings very well. Taylor Swift sings great in person. Wish she didn't do as much talking prior to singing. She seems to be more in tuned to a younger crowd.

    KEITH URBAN ROCKS!

by champrich56 on 5/30/10LSU Tiger Stadium - Baton Rouge

This was held in my hometown, and it was the first year. Surprisingly well-organized. The crowds were much larger than I expected. My only negative is that this event should be held earlier in the year, maybe March or April, as the Louisiana heat and humidity is quite oppressive by the end of May. Why in the world was Taylor Swift the headliner? She is so new to Country Music that I don't think she should have headlined above Keith Urban, who has been doing this for years and has far more experience. His raw talent, both vocally and as a musician, as well as an entertainer, far surpassed the hair-flipping, gazing (for minutes) into the camera, propped filled show put on by Taylor.
