  • Bootsy Collins is Still the Man

by BunnyforLife on 7/1/15Hollywood Bowl - HollywoodRating: 4 out of 5

Bootsy Collins was a real treat. He still looks and sounds the same. His band was funky and kept the crowd on their feet. I actually thought he was going to close the show, but Basement Jaxx did (who bu the way I never heard of). Tuxedo had a good funky sound also. Basement Jaxx was of another persuasion.

  • Bootsy and Basement Jaxx

by Bootsyfan on 7/1/15Hollywood Bowl - HollywoodRating: 4 out of 5

Tuxedo sounded like a cheap cover band, so no need to review them. Bootsy definitely had his moments, but the sound was really messed up. There were a lot of times he could not be heard at all, which took away from my enjoyment of the performance. He played some of his biggest hits, and that was awesome, but he left out some major ones also, which was a disappointment. I wasn't familiar with Basement Jaxx, even though they were the main attraction, and they were OUTSTANDING. Talk about a fun time! They totally rocked the house, their music was easy to like, and absolutely required you to dance. I would see them again for sure.

  • Boosty's Rubber Band turned the mutha out!!!

by RobertHarperBass on 7/1/15Hollywood Bowl - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

I was so amazed at the polshed performance of Bootsy Collins and his Rubber band tonight at this concert event……Rubber band members "Mike Cobb" (Bassist) and "Candice Cheatham" (Vocals) really turned it up, and Bootsy Collins interacted very well with the audience which was also a plus!

  • Basement Jaxx killed it!!!

by Lynnja on 7/1/15Hollywood Bowl - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Tuxedo was pretty good at warming up the crowd. Bootsy Collins and the Rubber Band brought the fun funk, and Basement Jaxx took the crowd over the top. They were all amazing!

  • Basement Jaxx and Bootsy Collins - EPIC!

by yoyocarp on 7/1/15Hollywood Bowl - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

There's only one word to describe this night - EPIC! I wouldn't expect any less from Basement Jaxx or Bootsy. They're both one of the top 5 performers in the world.

  • Best Dance Party Ever!

by gaypalmsprings on 7/1/15Hollywood Bowl - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Basement Jaxx brought it on with a fabulously entertaining show at The Hollywood Bowl. It was both eye candy and ear candy. It was a non-stop dance party for young and old. The singers were awesome, especially the two large-size women and the guy (sorry, I don't know their names). It's my fourth Hollywood Bowl show this year, and it was the best concert by far (others were Train, Lady Gaga/Tony Bennett, Underworld). I can't wait to dance with them again!

  • What a show

    by Sheenabeena211 on 7/1/15Hollywood Bowl - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Tuxedo: wonderful voice, very soulful and great groovy music. Bootsy Collins is a real classic. He still got the funky touch. Basement Jaxx: had me on my feet dancing the whole night they really put on a good show. They played all the good classics with the new. I would see them again. Amazing.
