    Too bad, too sad

by Heatthecup on 7/3/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

It has been a long time since I've gone to concerts and I treated my 97 year old mother to Barry's concert because she really is a fan of his. I got the best seats I could have afford, row JJ and they were great. I was so happy to have been able to do this. The show started with a bang and was great until Barry invited the audience to stand up and join him in song. My mother could not stand up doing the performance at each of those moments and missed some of his wonderful performance. I know the format will never change because it is good for the performer and the audience but I just wanted to let you know what our experience was.

    Brilliant Bazza !!

by Shazbob on 6/24/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Had seen Barry Manilow before , but to see him in Las Vegas was something else. The venue was perfect (not too big , not too small) and the actual show was brilliant. The ONLY downside was that Barry was nearly 30 mins late on stage - we had rushed in 104 degree heat to ensure we were on time so that was a little disappointing , but other than that a brilliant night.

Must see show in Las Vegas

by Marjar on 6/17/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Barry Manilow's new show at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas is not to be missed!! He was recently voted the best headliner on the Las Vegas Strip and he deserves it. He is a brilliant song writer, arranger, composer and performer. The music is fantastic, the set is mesmerizing. The whole production is stunning! You only have to see his show one time to be swept up in the excitement and appreciation of Barry Manilow and company! Don't miss out, see this show while you are in Las Vegas and you won't regret it!!

    The Manilow is a Must!

by 512Blonde on 6/16/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Barry Manilow still sounds so good after all of these years that my husband and I both initially wondered if he was lip synching. Was well worth the time and money and we agreed that we'd both go again in a second.

Barry Manilow Paris Las Vegas Hotel

by Juanita999 on 6/13/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

If you are planning on a trip to Las Vegas this is one show not to be missed. Even if you are not a massive fan of Barry Manilow, you can't fail to admire his talent and showmanship. The theatre at Paris Las Vegas is quite compact, so wherever you are sitting you feel right in the action. Barry performs all his usual hits as well as some not so well known stuff and chats with the audience about growing up in New York. The other nice thing about this show was that photography was allowed. A standing ovation at the end and lots of smiling people on the way out. A great show.

Manilow is still magical in 2010!

by Karen1960 on 6/11/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

We were in Las Vegas for a week with 9 friends for a 40th and 50th birthday trip We had pre-booked the Barry Manilow show at the Paris hotel in Vegas on Sunday 6 June 2010. Barry was referring to himself as 'being too old for this' but showing absolutely no signs of old age during the show! We were very lucky enough to have seats on the 4th row from the stage. It was fantastic!! Well worth the long trip from Manchester, England Here's to the next time Barry!

    Barry Manilow Vegas Show

by Susiebou on 6/10/10Paris (casino/hotel) - Las Vegas

He's still got it but you could tell his voice wasn't quite up to par in a couple of songs. He is a great showman and you'll never leave a show feeling like he didn't give his all. He will convert the person who is an "on the fence" fan...he's wonderful!!!

    Manilow is the BEST!

by anglou on 6/9/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

We were in L. V. for our 40th anniversary. Weather was unbearably hot, so we shortened our trip, but did not want to miss the Barry Manilow concert. We are very glad that we stayed. Mr. Manilow performed spectacularly! We had seen Mr. Manilow 30 years ago in Providence, and as great as his show was then, it is even better now. Not only does Mr. Manilow write and sing beautiful music, but he is a true showman. We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy his show.

    Go and see Barry!

by Looby on 6/9/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

My Mum and I travelled to Las Vegas purely to see Barry at the Paris Hotel in his new show. It was well worth the trip! We paid for tickets 3 rows from the front which gave us an incredible view and experience. The theatre is far more intimate than his previous tours in the Uk or at the Hilton in Las Vegas. It is jammed packed with his old standards but woven together in a new format with lots of energy and a great live band and singers/dancers. The audience was a mixture of 70:30 women to men but all seemed to love it. He played about 1 hour 20 minutes which isn't the longest set ever but you didn't feel short changed. I would thoroughly recommend going to see him AND the famous 'Copacabana' silver, sparkly shirt is in the foyer to have your photo with too!

    Barry Forever!!!

by ManilowForever on 6/8/10Paris Hotel - Vegas, Baby!!

Barry started with a funny comment, "I am so happy to know that my music will live forever in elevators and dentist offices. As long as people need their teeth fixed." He has a very personal demeanor and a great sense of humor!! His voice sounds just like his albums - very clear. His voice has not aged at all!! And yes, I am a husband who loves Barry's music!!! I am in my early 40s and began hearing his music when I was 8 years old. He played a song from his latest album from the movie, Love Story, titled "Where do I begin?" I had an outstanding time!! Thank you very much, Barry!!

    Sound technician needs help

by DonnyandMariefan on 6/8/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

First of all, the show started 20 minutes late. Then, when Manilow did come onto the stage, the music was so loud and distorted that we couldn't understand him. It was near impossible to hear and understand him above the band. The volume of the music was torture and I was glad when the show was over.

    Barry Manilow is still FABULOUS!

by Number1Fanilow on 6/7/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Barry Manilow is still turning out fabulous concerts! Legendary music, fantastic singing, wonderful memories, and touching moments filled this concert at the Paris hotel in Las Vegas. Barry was as energetic and engaging as he's ever been! Several times, it felt as if we were in Barry's home, listening to him talk about his life, his grandfather, and his career while tickling the ivories.

Great if you love Barry Manilow

by BarryFan12 on 6/7/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I went into the concert with low expectations (the man is in his late 60's, after all!) and I thought it was very enjoyable. His voice is still good, though not able to hit the higher notes. His stage presence is charming and was best when he sat at the piano rather than trying to dance (the dancing attempts were awkward and I kept worrying he was going to break a hip or something). If you love Barry Manilow then you will love this concert. The backup singers/dancers were good as singers but mediocre dancers. The production as a whole was lower budget and very cheesy at times. But it's Barry Manilow - what else can you expect?

    Barry Manilow is Fantastic!!!

by niktus on 6/7/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I have seen many Manilow performances, but this was the first one at the Paris in Las Vegas. My sister-in-law, who had not seen Barry in concert since the 70's, and I both agree that Barry looks great and sounds amazing! He has a lot of energy and great charisma and relates well to his audience, his band, and his back-up singers and dancers. Barry has such a large catalog of music to choose from, so a 1 1/2 hour concert does not come close to even scratching the surface, but I was pleased with the songs he chose to sing. My biggest complaint is that the concert was too short, but then I feel that way about all of his concerts!!

    Overall good show, memorable songs

by CaptainChris on 6/7/10Paris Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Barry Manilow's voice sounded very good and the show was well choreographed with attarctive background singers and dancers that made for a fast-paced performance. The length is a little short for the price - just 80 minutes - and some of the "mega-hits" were left untouched. Also, the show is billed as being "new" but many bits from the prior Vegas show were incorporated into this one which made it feel like a "re-run" at points. But, there were also several new arrangements to songs that I enjoyed hearing. Overall, the good far outweighs any negatives and is worth attending if you happen to be on the Strip during a "Manilow" weekend.
