Over the course of 35 years, the beloved quartet has sold over 15 million records worldwide and built up an arsenal of hits such as "If I Had $1,000,000," "One Week," "Pinch Me," and "The Big Bang Theory Theme." Widely acknowledged as one of the best live acts on the planet, BNL has hosted a cruise, had their own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, and participated in the first-ever “space-to-earth musical collaboration” with astronaut  Chris  Hadfield. To date, BNL has amassed eight JUNO  Awards, garnered two GRAMMY nominations and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. BNL’s 18th studio album, In Flight, was released in 2023 and features 14 brand new studio recordings. It’s available everywhere you stream music.

  • Excellent Show

by anMiTy on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

This was a very energetic show. I was not sure what to expect now that Steve has left the band but I must admit his vocals were not missed as much as I thought they would be. Great song selection and the sound was great at the Tropicana!

  • Most amazing show ever

by Gixugif on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

This was an absolutely amazing show from beginning to end. They sounded great, played so many of their great songs, including all the best off of their new album, their ad libs were great and they were just hilarious all around.

  • BNL - Great as Usual!

by hillside on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

The Barenaked Ladies still have it, after all these years. It had been so long since I'd seen BNL live, and I unfortunately didn't know some of the newer songs. As usual, however, they put on a great show - entertaining in every aspect.

  • BNL is an amazing show!

by PMinchoff on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

BNL sounded great in the Tropicana Showroom. The acoustics were perfect and the band puts on a tremendous show full of humor and all the songs you know and love.

  • BNL at the Trop in AC

    by Josie0562 on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

I havent seen BNL since Steve Page left the band. It wasnt the same without him. I enjoyed the show, but probably wont spend the money again to see them.

  • Not what they used to be

by noeldaddy on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 1 out of 5

Incredibly boring show. The BNL without Steven Paige is just a shell of what they used to be. They tried to be funny, they tried to banter, but it just fell flat. The music felt like it was missing a punch, and the guys seemed like they didn't care. The most telling part of the show was that 80% of the audience SAT DOWN for almost the entire show! And then they ended the night with one of the slowest, most boring songs in their catalog. Way overpriced, uninspired concert

  • BNL Great, Audio Crew not so much.

by JohnnyFive on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

BNL kicked off their US tour in Atlantic City last night, but audio problems kept them from sounding their best. The Tropicana is a fantastic place to see a show. Well-sloped seating with no obstructions means there's not a bad seat in the house, but for some reason the audio on lead singer Ed Robertson's mic was too hot, and it was pretty badly distorted while he sang. It's almost as if the sound crew "went to 11" with it; both my and my wife's ears were ringing after the show and our heads were hurting pretty badly. The overall balance was pretty awful as well, as backing vocals and harmonies were drowned out by the overloud audio. I was stunned at one point to plug my ears with my fingers and finally hear the piano that was struggling trying to make it through the overamped upright bass (how did they manage that?) and guitars. I love BNL and my wife's a die-hard fan. It was a great show, especially being the first tour without Steven Page, and we were glad to see the band doing "the same, but different." We just wish the sound had been better.

  • BNL Still Rocking without Page

    by Markopolo98 on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Despite having and loving their new cd, I wondered if BNL would still be as amazing in concert without Page...they still are!!! The guys were very smart to start off with some favorites from the past to show the audience that they are the same, wonderful BNL we have always loved even without Page's vocals. Their mixture of old favorites and new songs from their latest cd was fantastic. It was also wonderful to see Kevin and Jim finally get to do some solos and be up front with Ed! Ed's rap about his run on the AC boardwalk & the many t-shirt shops was side-splitting funny! I wish they were going to be in the Philly area so I could go see them again!

  • excellent performance

    by richo137 on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I saw BNL live and it was amazing....The were enjoyable and very personable to the crowd... Made you feel a part of the show..

  • Great even without Stephen Page

    by Msb1979 on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 4 out of 5

Saw the kickoff of BNL's USA tour and thought they did a great job. They still bring the sidebars and humor you know and love. Expect to laugh and sing along!

  • BNL was awesome!

    by k8efitz on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

This is only the second time I've seen them play - and although Steve is missed - I think they sounded great. We bumped into Ed after the show and he was so courtesy to take pictures with us! Their sound and songs they played from the new album were great! It was a good mix of old and new! I wish I could follow them around on tour:-)

  • almost BNL

    by smarcus1369 on 5/9/10Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

Well--- mixed feelings about this one. Probably the 17th BNL show for me...probably the weakest. Steven Page is missed for sure BUT the others tried their best to make up for it. Sometimes it worked/sometimes it didn't. The four lads worked very hard and the new stuff, along with Ed's songs, worked quite well. But the Page stuff didnt really come off that strongly. Perhaps with a bit more practice. Strange selections of some songs...concentrate on Ed's stuff...avoid the all-out Page songs (unless they are the "in demand/must hear" variety). Interest waned a bit after the first four or five songs...BUT it WAS BNL and we haven't seen them in a long time! used to go to all the shows in the area on a tour...NOW one per tour will suffice. NICE TRY LADIES !

  • Quirky music

by Flippernipper on 12/31/09Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent show. Though I was not a fan before, I am now. I took my wife to the show and really wasn't expecting much. To see these musicians taking turns playing different instruments really blew me away.

  • Barenaked still awesome

by FRod on 12/21/09Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 4 out of 5

My wife and I saw then 5 years ago in Gwinnett, GA and were static when we heard they were coming closer to home. We are big fans, but were not aware Steven Page had left the band until 2 days before the concert - we even contemplated not going, since many times the remaining members of a band just can't pull it off the same way as before - but decided to go and try to enjoy. Enjoy we did...these guys still rock, and have a great time doing it. Although it was a much different atmosphere (smaller venue, not as enthusiastic crowd) we had a great time with their new songs and jammed hard with the old favorites -we definitely recommend, and would see them again, but they are not the same as before...we miss Steven, but still love the Ladies!!!!!!

  • Barenaked Ladies was Horrible

by RockwithitOut on 12/21/09Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 1 out of 5

Probably one of the worst concerts I have ever been to! Very Disappointed especially paying $60 a ticket. Would not recommend!!!!

  • Barenaked Ladies

by DeidreD on 12/21/09Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 4 out of 5

The show was absolutely wonderful!! We all had a great time. I would definatly see them agan and look forward to their new release.

  • by DRight812 on 12/21/09Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 4 out of 5

It was a very good show. This being the final show of the year, i was a little disappointed that it was only an hour and a half long WITH two encores.

  • Barenaked Ladies too short

by madalex on 12/20/09Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 2 out of 5

they did not play very long and didn't play most of their top hits

  • Barenaked Ladies in Mississippi

    by twobad4u on 12/20/09Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 5 out of 5

A great band at a great venue! The four piece iteration was as entertaining as if it had been the original five. Hell has frozen over, the New Orleans Saints ended their winning streak and BNL ended their 2009 tour on the same night. It was great to see the band mates swapping instruments and positions on stage. Hard Rock Live is a first class facility. I plan on seeing BNL again next year and catching more shows at HRL in Biloxi.

  • by Anonymous on 12/20/09Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 5 out of 5

BNL was awesome. The venue was great. I hope they make more trips to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
