Banda el Recodo -- the group's full name is Banda Sinaloense el Recodo de Don Cruz Lizarraga -- celebrated their 75th anniversary in 2013, and the Mexican Banda group hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. During the landmark year, the ever-evolving band -- believed to be the first Banda act to release a commercial recording -- was awarded with the Musical Legacy Award at the Billboard Mexican Music Awards.
Banda el Recodo was founded by clarinetist Cruz Lizarraga in 1938, and he remained the bandleader until he died of cancer in 1995. The group is still in the Lizarraga family, however, and counts four of his sons among its members. Banda el Recodo still tours regularly -- often playing in the United States -- with a huge lineup of musicians playing clarinets, trombones, trumpets, tuba, and various percussion instruments, along with vocalists. Fans who buy tickets to a Banda el Recodo concert can expect a wide range of styles representing the massive swaths of musical ground -- including Latin, big band, jazz and classical -- they've covered over their hundreds of recordings.

It was great concert and had no problems at all parking lot and entrance no delays at all
Great time to spend with family, best seats, good music n we even dances
I paid to watch Banda Recodo and instead watch someone else. Se hiceron los importantes so I left esrly. It was after 10 when they decided to do their show so by that time I was frustrated and tired of waiting. Very disappointed. But enjoyed the ones that opened the show I give them a 5 star rating.
It was disappointing that it took them 2hrs and 15 min to get on stage. By the time they started we have to leave, they should be considerate with the audience.
Worst experience ever. To begin the wait to go in was 3 hours no organization at all. There was shoving, cutting fights and that was just to get into the venue. Once inside tickets were not even scanned. We made it to the “fan zone” area after getting thru the maze of people you could hardly get thru. We had maybe 20/30 mins before people from general admission started jumping the barriers into the vip area, eventually dropping them. Security just stood there didn’t even try to stop the first people to jump. Lines for the drinks were ridiculously long. One guy was trying to grab drinks from behind the bartender and security would not come help her.
On the website it stated the bands were starting at 6pm. Not true. People were lined up for over 6 hours. The bands began playing at approximately 8:30pm. I was still waiting in line to get in. They were only letting people in from one entrance. The promoters did not organize it well. Ridiculous to have people out in line even after the bands began to play. There were no restroom available while you were waiting in line for over 6 hours. So you were basically out of luck if you needed to pee. Pee your pants or loose your spot. We reached the main entrance close to midnight. Horrible experience.
Banda el recodo did amazing , but the line was ridiculous there wasn’t a good set up for entrance , everybody was cutting and shoving security didn’t do anything n one even got knocked down
This concert should not receive stars, but should receive lawsuits along with refunds to people who paid fan zone. Waited 3+hours to go in and everyone was pushing each other like sardines, people passing out and fighting. We paid fan zone and didn’t enjoy our area because everyone jumped over the fan zone and they were not security to stop them. It was the worst concert and unorganized event that placed many lives at risk.
This even was one of the worst that I have ever attended in the past. It was very poorly and dangerously organized. The line to enter was all the way around the building and it went on and on. I bought my ticket in March and was not even able to get it in because doors were closed and not letting anymore people in due to tickets being oversold and people were rowdy, pushing others, breaking doors, fighting with others etc… I was very disappointed in how it was organized and how I had to pay for the promoter’s/event organizer lack of control in loosing my money. I lost $186 dollars and did not even make it to the front of the building.
We were in line until 930 pm, it took over 3 hours and we just gave up waiting because the line was just not movingand we were still not even close to the entrance, and to top it off one of the performers canceled. Whoever coordinated this event...this was the worst experience ive ever had at a concert. People were throwing bottles, there was a guy that pissed right in front of us cause there was no restroom outside and he disnt want to lose his place in line.
The concert itself was amazing. From Jary Franco opening to Peso Pluma closing. But the gates that separated Fan Zone and General audience were broken. Everything got so crowded, a couple people fainted around me. Therefore, I think it’s best if there’s a little more security or even consequences to the people that go in. I paid more to have a better experience, to have a better view even but that didn’t happen because of that. I went to a Grupo Arriesgado concert as well and the same thing happened but they dealt with the situation just fine. It took them a while but they went around checking who didn’t have a VIP bracelet and escorted everyone who didn’t belong out of the section.
It was the worse experience ever. I’ve been to concerts . But the amount of money you pay to stand in line for 3 hours. It was so an organized. No directions , people walking all over just cutting in line . It was bad. Peso Pluma was awesome.
The artists were spectacular, it was an event that no one couldn’t miss, unfortunately it wasn’t organized properly knowing that it had “SOLD OUT” lots of people left were waiting in line 3 to 4 hours, that was very sad… next time venue needs to be prepared…!!
Waited 4 hours to try to get in and at the end they shut the doors at 9:30 and we couldn’t even get it 😣😡😡😡😡😡
The venue oversold tickets and the security weren’t even doing their job. People were getting hurt and overall very crowded. Because they oversold ticket people who already had them weren’t let in. I really hope they get a refund for that!
Long lanes to get in and long lanes to buy tickets for drinks really bad service who organized this events and to the last moment they send a email one artist not coming that’s ridiculous 👎🏻👎🏻
worst experience tickets were over sold the venue had no control of the line. Doors were closed off at one point.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a show. We were waiting in line for over 3 hours and when we reached the front everyone was shoving everyone and trampling over people to get in. They closed the gates to the entrance because there were people fighting and throwing bottles. We left due to the unsafe environment and never got to see the performers. They oversold tickets because the line wrapped around so many blocks.
It was over sold, there was no organization. People were jumping the gate to get to the fan zone and VIP area, I was harass and kicked out of my own area.
