    Unfortunately, a waste of time.

by L876 on 4/15/24Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - Baltimore

When I saw the advertisement for a tacos and margarita festival, I assumed there would be multiple vendors. I was disappointed when I found out there were only two for each. We arrived at 2:00 PM and the lines for all four of the food/drink stations were excruciatingly long. We jumped in the short taco line and it took us 40 minutes to get our food. We didn't bother with getting in the margarita lines, which was disappointing because we each had two VIP drink tickets. We just gave them away, and left. If they do it again, I hope they have more vendors, or at least provide a better description of the setup in the advertisement so people understand before they purchase tickets. I would not have gone if I knew.

    Baltimore Taco and Margarita Festival

by Not a Fan on 4/9/24Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - Baltimore

Was like attending a Tile Expo. Probably would have been more exciting.

    Nice event

by Shamara on 4/9/24Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - Baltimore

I enjoyed the event. There were vendors that I stopped by and made a purchase. It would have been nice if there were more food vendors.

    Complete waste

by Taco Lover on 4/9/24Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - Baltimore

This "festival"wasn't a festival, and it wasn't about tacos at all. There was a single taco vendor. This event was about amateur pro wrestling. Complete waste.

    Not worth it

by Key on 4/9/24Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - Baltimore

There were not enough souls for the amount of people that were there, the lines were ridiculously long for drinks and food. You had to wait over 20 to 30 minutes to get a drink or food.

    Horrible

by Jo on 4/9/24Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - Baltimore

I didn’t stay long. Not enough food vendors. The lines were too long. Never got any food. Definitely would not recommend this event to anyone and will not be back. Highly disappointed. We were in one line for about 30 minutes when we were told the line we were in was for pick up only and the line to place the order had wrapped around the building. Whoever the event owners are need to do better. This was nothing more than a wrestling event.

    Horrible

by BC on 4/9/24Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - Baltimore

One margarita line that was 30 people deep, two food booths with long lines as well. Map said there was a walking taco booth and couldn't find it. Waste of money - got one margarita from the UMBC concession stand and left. Disappointed!!

    Overpriced and not well planned

by Eric on 4/9/24Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - Baltimore

I hate leaving negative reviews but I think this event deserves some feedback that I'll do my best to make constructive: 1. There were only two stations for tacos, and the lines were super long when we got there (around 1pm) and were barely moving. I think it would have worked much better to have several stations for tacos, it seemed like there was plenty of available space in the arena to do so. If we had waited around it probably would've taken us over an hour of standing in line to get food. We ended up leaving and going to a local Mexican spot in the area for food instead. 2. To follow up on that, the food was very expensive. Along with paying for a ticket to get into the event, having to then pay a premium on the food feels like kind of a low blow. Again, we went to a local spot instead and we got tacos much quicker and for much cheaper. Can't speak to the quality of the food at the event as I never had a chance to try the tacos, but just based on presentation it looked alright. 3. One of the only stands that didn't have a massive line was the churro stand. The churro was fine, but not worth $6. 4. The wrestling was entertaining to watch though! So that's a good thing. Overall, the event just needed more stations for food. I mean, it's advertised as a Taco and Margarita Festival, but those aspects felt like more of an afterthought. Also, just because the event is in an arena, that does not justify arena pricing for the food.

    Not what I expected

by Tigerlily on 4/9/24Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena - Baltimore

This was disappointing- especially from last year. Last year's venue was at the Power Plant and it was like a huge block party! It was SO MUCH fun- there was live music, wayyyy more taco trucks, vendors, etc. This indoor venue was awful. I was very disappointed and really would like a refund. There were only 3 taco stands, and 1 left early. HUGE let down! I spoke with other people who agreed.
