Indoor Soccer Rocks!
by SnowMiser on 3/6/101st Mariner Arena - BaltimoreThis was my first time watching an indoor soccer game and my first time to 1st Mariner Arena. I would describe it as a cross between European soccer and professional hockey. I enjoyed it very much. As for the facility, the bathrooms and common areas were clean, the concessions were predictably over priced, and the staff was polite, pleasant, highly visible, helpful and accomodating. The seating, however, was really tiny. People were squeezed in like sardines. Thankfully the event wasn't sold out so we could spread out a bit. Favorite Moment: The ball was kicked out of bounds, which means it landed in the stands, since the field is the size of a hockey rink. It headed right towards a lady who was chatting and not paying attention to the game. Her companion saw it and snatched it out of the air a split second before it beaned her in the head. It was awesome!
