BalletMet Presents The Nutcracker Tickets

This was a great way to share the ballet with my 4 year old. The intro to the story & characters, plus explaining what happens during intermission was great. She loved it!

My wife and I have been coming for years. It is always a special experience at the Ohio Theater. Cant say enough good things about the entire event. Great staff, great venue, and great play!

This was such a wonderful first experience for toddlers. My twins are 2.5 and truly enjoyed the show. The show was exactly the perfect length for them. The activities were fun and helped break up the wait. Truly you can tell it was thought out appropriately from the line to get in to the entire show. We plan to attend the next time as well. I thought it would be awesome if BalletMet did it for other popular ballets.

So great for my kids, can’t wait to go again next year!

The show was a surprise for my 3 boys since I wasn’t spending Christmas with them due to shared parenting. We had a very enchanting evening. Everything was great. From finding parking right across the street to taking pictures with the Nutcracker mascot, checking in, buying souvenirs, going upstairs to do activities and taking pictures with Sugarplum Fairy. It’s a beautiful place and the employees are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the Choir who was singing and took a lot of pictures inside to capture the beauty of the theater. The show was beautiful, very talented actors and dancers. The costumes and dresses were beautiful too. The Columbus Symphony Orchestra was amazing. You get so involved in the story line that you forget that the music is played live under the stage. My sons appreciated the Orchestra a lot since my oldest plays the Cello, my middle one plays the Violin and my youngest plays the trombone. We love & appreciate music. We were smiling the whole time. We had great seats but I think that every seat inside the theater had a great view. I was very happy that my boys enjoyed the show and felt the magic of the Nutcracker like I did. I highly recommend it to everyone. It’s a must see. It’s a great show for family, friends and date night or first date. I had a very special night with my sons. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to the Arts. We truly had a magical evening.

I wish that there was a way to see what your view looks like at the time of purchase. I thought we had sat in this section before, I was disappointed with the angle and the obstructed view. The performance was spectacular and the evening was wonderful, but for the price of these seats I would have expected much better.

A bit of humor and audience participation makes this performance even more child friendly. Beautiful venue.

It was the most beautiful show my wife and I have ever seen. This was her first time to ever see a performance on stage. We was both awwed from beginning to end. Thank you for the experience!

Perfect every year! i appreciate the little changes in choreo they make each year to and the costumes! respect to the whole company

This was my 3rd time going, Took 9 yr old and 6yr old. It is different every time because there are different dancers performing the roles. The older girl was very entertained the younger girl liked it as well but was a little squirmy in her seat. They do have activities for the kids before the show and a lot of stuff for sale during intermission. It is definitely an amazing venue and magical experience! Everyone should visit the nutcracker at least once in a lifetime!

The Ohio Theater is an excellent venue, and the performance of the Nutcracker was phenomenal.

I say this every year...it was the best performance ever!!! I’ve been taking my Granddaughters and daughter-in-laws since the girls were little and they enjoyed it as much, or even more at 17 and 15! It’s a very special night out for us each year...thank you for many many wonderful memories ❤️

Slow start in some ways, but nice to give local children opportunity to be involved. The ballet performances were absolutely amazing.

It was the first time I have seen the Ballet! And I enjoy it soo much can’t wait to watch more Ballets!!! Me and my Husband will be back

I took my niece and nephew to see the Nutcracker for the first time on Saturday (12/21/19) night and they had the most amazing experience. From getting their picture taken with the Nutcracker in front of the gorgeous Ohio Theatre to every usher telling them stories and letting us explore to the crafts set up to pass the time before the show started was absolute perfection. We all loved every minute of it! The ballet itself was amazing and the orchestra never disappoints. I highly recommend it.

Nutcracker was great. BalletMet does a wonderful job and my girls loved that they got to meet and take picture with the grown up Clara before the show.

Best performer yet!!!! Little disappointed that people bring drinks in the theater. Costly to replace upholstery later.

Took my wife and girls to the Nutcracker at the Ohio Theatre we loved it the atmosphere and the ornate architecture of the theater set the mood and the Nutcracker was spectacular with the different sets and the music of Tchaikovsky was great will definitely come back

Parking was easy and only $5. This is part of our holiday tradition. Can't wait until next year.
