So I bought these mid field tickets 5th row. Paid a premium for best seats. Couldn’t see anything because the teams bring all their equipment on the field obstructing view. Watched game on big screen. Could have stayed home and watched TV. Kinda feel ripped off. I’ve learned best is not always good.
Was celebrating my sons 14th birthday whilst In NYC from UK. He is soccer mad and all other sports mad, so to watch such a special event on American football was spot on event
We had a wonderful time at the game. Easy access to quality food and beverages.
This was a great couple of hours out, we had great seats on the 50 yard line and Fantastic views of the whole field. People and venue staff were friendly and one guy even organised a cup of tea for my wife. Easy to get away from after the event to the subway. Highly recommend.
It was very easy to use the app and the process was flawless.
Great match up and close victory for Michigan. Yankee Stadium once again put on an excellent Event. Only criticism would be no freebie for the 10th Anniversary. I've been going to this every year and last year and this, no swag😕
Yankee Stadium and the Pinstripe Bowl and my favorite team equals a true marble day. Was my first time at this stadium and it was a treat to have this bowl game in NY as I am a MSU fan. Able to sit with other fans and was just all around fun. Always helps when you get a W. Would do again!
It’s a very unique venue, and even though it’s for baseball usually, the football field fits nicely in the middle from home plate to center field. It’s fun to attend and very easy to get to you if you are taking public transportation.
Yankee stadium is a terrible place to watch a football game
Our seats were as bad as they possible could be. There was absolutely NO view of the field, it was blocked by the medical tent and about 500 people they allowed on the field. The section (129) was the only one not blocked off in the stadium that was so low to the ground that you couldn’t see over anyone who was standing on the field. Spent over $800 on seats to watch the entire game on the screen. I should have been advised that the seats were “partial view” like they do in the theaters. Theses weren’t even partial! We saw ZERO live action. So disappointing!
I went to the Notre Dame - Syracuse game in November and the entry was a disaster even with a hard ticket. The entry for the Bowl game was much better even though the instructions for showing your e-ticket were unclear. I was disappointed in the size of the crowd. By going to the game in November I was able to scope out where the good sight lines were and got a seat on the 50 yard line.
It's great to see a bowl game in New York but concessions, both with regard to food and clothing/items, and pregame could have been better.
We couldn't wait to see Miami vs. Wisconsin in Pinstripe Bowl 2018! We had 5th row seats in section 130 on the field and were thrilled to be in Yankee Stadium watching football...that is until the game started. Unfortunately, we were unable to see the game from our seats because the football team, coaches, cheerleaders, camera and tech crews were on the field and all we saw was the backs of a sea of people. You could not see the players on the field or the game at all. We were forced to watch the game via the jumbotron screen and it was a HUGE disappointment. We paid close to $2,000.00 for 6 tickets and we truly feel those seats should never have been sold for a football game. In the fourth quarter people started to leave the game and we were able to moved back about 15 rows, then we were able to actually see the game. Upset and disappointed!
Go every year, exciting college football experience in the most iconic of all sports venues Yankee Stadium!!
I bought the tickets as a Christmas gift for my daughter. The seats were for section 130. Row 1. Because Yankee stadium was configured for football (Pinstripe Bowl) I thought they would be great seats in front row. We were so low at field level, we were behind all the teams equipment. Were were unable to see anything. View was 100% obstructed. The tickets should have said that. With these seats it would have been better to save the $1000 and stay home and watch on TV.
Heading to NYC for Christmas wasn't in our plans prior to the announcement of where the Wisconsin Badgers would be playing their college bowl game. Our son is a senior with the university marching band. Where ever he was going to perform his last half time show was where mom, dad and older sister would travel. We found flights, a hotel stay for three nights and booked tickets for the game through Ticketmaster. The weather cooperated with balmy (by Wisconsin standards) days in the 40s. We jammed in as much traditional tourism stops as we could with visits to Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and of course Yankee Stadium for the game. This is the second time we've used mobile ticketing for a game on our phones. The Badgers easily handled Miami a second consecutive year and other than a two hour delay at the airport on the way home and our luggage coming back a day late behind us, everything was great. We're now contemplating a return trip when the weather is nicer.
The game was fun to watch and it was awesome to see live. I was disappointed that we had to pay Yankee prices for food & beverages. The hi prices are the reason that I do not often attend professional sporting events. Overall my son and I enjoyed the experience and to top it off the Wisconsin Badger won. $42 dollars to park was ridiculous too. The pa worked periodically so you couldn’t hear what the referee was saying.
During the holiday season it doesn't get much better then to take a trip up to NYC, take in the sights and catch a big time college football game in Yankee Stadium!
The atmosphere was amazing!!! I am a Pitt fan and sat on the side with all the fans. While we were disappointed they lost, we all had a great time.
