Tickets were easy to down load into Apple wallet and were easily scanned at the stadium. Fortunately Rutgers won the game which made the experience much more enjoyable. Yankee stadium not the best place to watch a football game especially if you’re in the end zone. Overall a very positive experience.
My two sons and I have gone to the last five Pinstripe Bowls. It is always a decent football game and the teams are usually well represented. This year’s game was particularly well attended because Rutgers was one of the teams invited to the Bowl. I look forward to going to next year’s game with my sons. We have made the Pin Stripe Bowl a tradition during our holiday season.

Great food great service excellent professionalism
Unlike a lot of people we talked with, our seats were great. While I was on the Ticketmaster website, I was also on Yankees.com, which shows you exactly the view from the seat you selected. So I purchased two tickets in the second deck in right field, which put us on the 40 yard line on the Minnesota side of the field. A lot of people who spent twice as much as I did for seats below us, moved up to our section by halftime.
I thoroughly enjoyed the 2022 Pinstripe Bowl between Syracuse and Minnesota. It was good competitive game that Minnesota won 28 to 20. I sat in section 226 row 2 which was a great seat. The seat was located on about the 10 yard line and was angled to towards the 50. I liked the 2:00 PM start time. Most of game was played in daylight but it ended at night. I think it was the perfect start time. Getting there was very easy by subway Most of the local bars were open and doing a good business. The one potential drawback for anyone going is the portable concessions were closed at least on the 2nd level so there were long lines at the concessions that were open. The lines seemed longer than I usually see at Yankee games. I would go again providing the weather is decent (not rainy or super cold).
Parking facility was way better than expected. Seats were excellent. Bought tickets in the Delta lounge area. The lounge was fabulous. Not controllable but the weather was excellent too. As a Syracuse fan the outcome could have been better but too many bad plays couldn't be overcome by a team already shorthanded. Greatly enjoyed the experience though. Even with a long drive the trip and game were well worth the effort, and we will definitely go to the next Pinstripe bowl with Syracuse as a participant.
We enjoyed the game and the musical performances by both college bands. However, the concession stand experience was terrible. We stood on a line that should have taken no more than 15 minutes for 45 minutes- that's with just 5 people in front of us. The cashiers needed to go in the back to retrieve food. Each cashier said different things to their customers regarding what was available. My daughter was told there were no water bottles but then someone came out and put several on the counter. We missed most of the second quarter and most of half time waiting for food.
As long time Cuse fans, that live in the NYC area, my son and I were extremely excited that Syracuse would be playing in the Pinstripe Bowl. For Christmas, I purchased the top tier tickets ($150/each) for an enhanced field level experience and view. Unfortunately, no one accounted for how the football equipment on the sidelines would significantly negatively impact the sight lines on a baseball field. Although we were merely feet away from the field (5th row) our entire section was upset that we were all forced to watch the entire game from the Jumbotron. There is no hyperbole in stating that we had ZERO ability to watch the game from the field. In summary, investing the extra money into this bowl experience resulted in an extremely negative experience as opposed to the scenario that if we purchased the cheaper tickets we would have had a much better opportunity to have a better experience and been able to actually SEE the game. What a lasting memory for my son…horrible!!!
I bought seats in section 130 row 3. I took my 9 year old son. We could not see a thing. They should not have made those seats available. We could not see over the players on the sideline. Even standing up he could not see a thing. I spent a lot of money to watch the game on the big screen. I think the first 5 rows should have been left vacant
This year thing worked out well for the Pinstripe Bowl. The weather cooperated and Minnesota and Syracuse were matched evenly enough to provide a fun contest for me, a nuetral observer, to enjoy.
The weather was very nice, the atmosphere was fun and the game was exciting.
Having been to Yankee Stadium many times for baseball, this was the first I have gone there for football. I was interested because my favorite college football team was playing, the Minnesota Gophers. Got a ticket in the bleachers for baseball, but was a very good view of the field - not an end zone seat eithe, about at the 20-25 yard line. Also was happy that the Minnesota band was nearby and many fellow Gopher fans made the trip. Oh, and Minnesota won 28-20, so the entire day was great. No issues with the electronic tickets - went smoothly just like it has been for baseball games.
Yankee Stadium made a great football field and it was a fun game to watch. Our seats were next to the teams band which was a lot of fun!
While Yankee Stadium never disappoints, the grass that was used to cover the field was woeful. Aside from that, good food, great seats and a good game
Game was nice with last minute comeback of syracuse. Atmosphere and location good , weather also
We had a great time watching the game. Both teams made it interesting. The seats in section 209 were great seats for a football game. The only real downer was the bun for my hot dog.
Syracuse lost the game, but still had a good time with former roommates & housemates. There should have been more food concessions open. The lines were a joke. I could have spent the entire 3rd quarter on line but left.
Really a fun experience although the game wasn't close. Staff was friendly and it was great the upstairs was open. If we still have COVID next year one suggestion is to spread the fans out more and open the sections behind where home plate is.
It was so much fun going to the pinstripe bowl to watch my MV play with the marching band at the half time show! Great event!!
