Backstreet Boys on Tour
The pitch-perfect harmonies. The matching outfits and dance moves. The dreamy personas. When they set foot in an arena, the Backstreet Boys are absolutely in their element, belting out a massive catalog of original hits to an outsized audience that screams back every word. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson have been at it for decades, but even after setting the blueprint for acts like One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer, their 1993-formed group remains the best-selling boy band of all time. And unlike so many others (including their former direct competition, *NSYNC), Backstreet Boys never quit. They kept making records — adapting their increasingly adult sound to an ever-shifting pop landscape — and kept upping the performance stakes too, taking their NKOTBSB supergroup (with New Kids on the Block) on the road in 2011, and holding down a two-year residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas starting in 2017. Their DNA World Tour celebrates their rich history of swooning ballads and get-up-and-dance jams (and yet another No. 1 album in 2019's DNA).
Backstreet Boys in Concert
Despite becoming more or less a five-headed pop machine, the Backstreet Boys' origins were pretty organic. Cousins Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell came up singing in church choirs and at festivals in Lexington, Kentucky, while the other three bonded over their shared love for Prince and old-school R&B after meeting at various acting auditions around Orlando. They came together under the guidance of teen-pop guru Lou Pearlman and emerged in the mid-1990s as radio-smashing global sensations — the quintessential boy band yearning over heartfelt hits like "I Want It That Way" and powering parties with upbeat bops like "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)." Their first two U.S. albums — 1997's Backstreet Boys and 1999's Millennium — also marked the arrival of Swedish superproducer Max Martin, who helped forge a shiny new sound that combined bubblegum pop, classic R&B, hip-hop swing and dance production. The Backstreet Boys' astounding longevity owes as much to maintaining this baseline formula as it does to their ability to pull modern sounds and grown-man themes into the gleaming pop universe they created way back when.

As usual the Boys never disappoint! The show was amazing. The guys sounded great, as usual, and their songs set was a great combination of their old hits incorporating their new songs as well. Absolutely love BSB and this was just another great concert experience!

I went to see Jesse McCartney and stayed for Backstreet Boys... Jesse was unbelievable he sounded great!! Played great songs and looked classy!! I'm not as familiar with the Backstreet Boys but they were good! They put on a good show!
I've been a fan from the start, and this concert marked my 18th time seeing the boys live. The almost two hour set was as lively and energetic as they were back in the mid 90s! While the concerts that the boys did in the absence of Kevin were fun, and musically spot on, the addition of Kevin back into the group showed the fans that this group thrives as a quintet, and their sound is that much stronger and sweeter with five. Celebrating 20 years, the boys sang every classic hit (with the obvious, and bizarre omission of the power house ballad Shape of My Heart). From pumped up dance numbers like Larger Than Life and Everybody to the beautiful moments surrounding oldies like I'll Never Break Your Heart and Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely, the boys reminded the crowd of why they are the top selling boy band in history. New songs from the band's "In a World Like This" gave us a sneak peak into some upcoming potential singles and the crowd's energy surrounding the new single was almost as strong as it was for the group's "theme song" - I Want It That Way. Favorite moments of the night included the classic choreography to oldies like We've Got It Going On, All I Have to Give, As Long As You Love Me, Larger Than Life and Backstreet's Back. True fans loved the performance of 10,000 Promises which was featured on the band's European version of "Backstreet's Back." The acoustic set, which showcased their amazing voices, also gave us a preview into the future, in which Kevin explained that there may be more instrument playing and less dancing in the next 10-20 years. Fun video clips, and a preview to their upcoming documentary, made sure that not a moment was spent without the boys- even during costume changes. Brian asked the crowd if it would be ok if they didn't wait so long to come back to see us next time....please don't!!!
The show was a perfect mix of the old and new songs. They played all the hits including the very early ones. BSB moved, sounded and looked just as good as ever.
The show was very enjoyable. Loved the new music. The crowd and the BSB were really into it - lots of dancing, singing and fun on both sides of the stage. Beautiful venue on the river with the city as a background. The staff were all nice and helpful.
Concert was great. They sag their best old songs, great new songs. nice talking to audiance. It was great. Sound at ones Beach Theater not so great.
One of there best concerts and I've been to a lot of there's #BigFan
Well, they're not in their 20's anymore, but they still put on a great show. I loved every moment of it, including the videos that played while the guys changed clothes. Jesse McCartney was also really fun!

ALL THE HITS, GREAT DANCING, GREAT STAGE LIGHTING. BACKSTREET BOYS ROCKED THE HOUSE AND EVEN MET ERIC CLAPTON WHO WAS SEATED NEXT TO ME. NO RAIN THAT NIGHT THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE IS THE EXITING FROM JONES BEACH IT TOOK OVER AN HR. YOU NEED MORE EXITS.
The show was amazing. They are celebrating their 20th anniversary. They are not boys anymore but they still have the voices and the moves.

I have been to too many Backstreet Boy concerts to count!! This one was as awesome as the rest! I also love the venue at Jones Beach
I had the time of my life. The Seats were great, and It was probably the best Backstreet Boys concert I've seen, and I've seen many. The boys brought back the dancing they did when they first started out and they still have it!
The show was incredibly awesome!! My favorites jesse mccartney and bsb. Love them!!
Backstreets back.. alright! no doubt one of the best concerts I've ever been too! they are so much fun and very interactive with the crowd! please come back to jones beach next summer!!
I'll forever see the backstreet boys in concert since they were such a massive part of my childhood, so I might be a little biased, but this was probably one of their best shows yet.... and I've been to every tour. They were high energy and sang all the big hits from the beginning of their careers that everyone wants to hear. They sounded fantastic and steered away from the silly outfits that used to accompany some of their tour wardrobes. I would absolutely recommend seeing them live if you are/were a fan and if they come around again I would absolutely see them live again.
Amazing. Men can still dance and perform. Could have done without Jesse McCartney and Pauly D BUT they were worth it!
I love this venue, nothing like being outside on the waterfront enjoying an awesome group.
