Backstreet Boys on Tour
The pitch-perfect harmonies. The matching outfits and dance moves. The dreamy personas. When they set foot in an arena, the Backstreet Boys are absolutely in their element, belting out a massive catalog of original hits to an outsized audience that screams back every word. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson have been at it for decades, but even after setting the blueprint for acts like One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer, their 1993-formed group remains the best-selling boy band of all time. And unlike so many others (including their former direct competition, *NSYNC), Backstreet Boys never quit. They kept making records â adapting their increasingly adult sound to an ever-shifting pop landscape â and kept upping the performance stakes too, taking their NKOTBSB supergroup (with New Kids on the Block) on the road in 2011, and holding down a two-year residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas starting in 2017. Their DNA World Tour celebrates their rich history of swooning ballads and get-up-and-dance jams (and yet another No. 1 album in 2019's DNA).
Backstreet Boys in Concert
Despite becoming more or less a five-headed pop machine, the Backstreet Boys' origins were pretty organic. Cousins Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell came up singing in church choirs and at festivals in Lexington, Kentucky, while the other three bonded over their shared love for Prince and old-school R&B after meeting at various acting auditions around Orlando. They came together under the guidance of teen-pop guru Lou Pearlman and emerged in the mid-1990s as radio-smashing global sensations â the quintessential boy band yearning over heartfelt hits like "I Want It That Way" and powering parties with upbeat bops like "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)." Their first two U.S. albums â 1997's Backstreet Boys and 1999's Millennium â also marked the arrival of Swedish superproducer Max Martin, who helped forge a shiny new sound that combined bubblegum pop, classic R&B, hip-hop swing and dance production. The Backstreet Boys' astounding longevity owes as much to maintaining this baseline formula as it does to their ability to pull modern sounds and grown-man themes into the gleaming pop universe they created way back when.

Completely loved this concert. Definitely brought me back to my childhood.
Had an amazing time!! First time seeing them! Always wanted to go but never had the chance. Definitely took me back in time like I was a kid again.
The show itself was great. However, waiting for OVER AN HOUR after the time it was supposed to start was not great. If they were running late they should've made an announcement so we were expecting it, instead of waiting and waiting and waiting some more. Very disrespectful for all of their fans. I think I would've enjoyed it more if I wasn't already annoyed with the huge delay.
Absolutely incredible! Was a little late to start but man what a night and show they performed! Definitely would go again a time or two or ten ha!
Fun energy, great lights, sexy men and did I mention the sexy men!
Loved the show is was full of energy. With a lot of love for the fans and tons of excitement. The Backstreet Boys always put on an amazing show making you love them more and more each time!! These were the best seats I've had yet at a Backstreet Boys concert. They were on the floor section C row 4 so they were sooo close to the stage it was amazing!! I only wish I could of been close enough to reach up and touch them! I did do the meet and greet which was my first experience ever meeting them and they were so awesome and so nice and very friendly. However I was told no hugs but when I see all the meet and greet pictures from that night there were several pictures that the fans were getting hugs in the picture and I paid the same as everyone else so that was a disappointment đ not towards the Backstreet Boys but those running it. The rules should be the same for everyone.
My friend and I grew up LOVING Backstreet Boys, so we were excited to go. But our best friends had no clue who they were but went along for the ride. We all four had a blast. They were bsb fans before, but they are now
Once the show started it was great!! Unfortunately we were told the show time was 730âŚit finally got started at 840 :(
BSB never disappoints! Itâs always fun turning back into a teenager for a night! :)
It was a great concert but ticket said starting at 730, no opener, and didn't start until 830. That was my only complaint.
The BSB Concert was amazing with the lighting effects and the band is great, however; the concert was an hour late then listed. Everyone started doing the wave because they were getting bored and angry that the concert didn't start when it was suppose to and no one knew what was going on. It would have been nice for an announcement to come over the loud speaker or something in order to use that time to be at merch stands, go to the bathroom, get food, eat etc. The group itself is great! They always have been. The show itself was like a Las Vegas performance! Great Job BSB!
Wow! Best concert I have ever been too! They put on an amazing show! Didnât want it to end. Canât wait to see them again!
Wasn't happy when we had to wait an extra hour before the concert started due to not having a opening band but the extra wait WAS WORTH IT!! After almost 30 years together, the Backstreet Boys rocked the house. They still sound great, they still have the moves and they still wow the crowd and leave it all on the stage... for almost two hours. Would highly recommend to everyone.
Only regret is they didnât play my favorite song The Perfect Fan
The Backstreet Boys really know how to put on a show. This was an amazing concert and would absolutely see them again! I would highly recommend to bring the Backstreet Boys back!!! Phenomenal and a must see concert!
They did a phenomenal job both on performance and the light and stage show was awesome!
From the light shows to seeing the boys and reliving my younger days it was all amazing!!! Been waiting for 2 years to see these guys and it was all with it. I had a digital trucker ticket idk what I was supposed to do with it. Anyway wish I could express my thanks to the Backstreet Boys in person!
Second time I have seen the DNA tour and it has been absolutely amazing both times!! Probably wonât be able to ever go to a concert again because nothing can top the Backstreet Boys!
I have been a fan ever since they first went public! I have all of their music including VCR tapes and CDâs. I was 39 when I got hooked and my boys were 10 and 12. I have followed them ever since. I knew the words to every single song and this 69 year old stood almost the entire time! I for sure will go to another of their concerts! Thank you for bringing this amazing Boy Band to Sioux Falls!
Great experience and brought back the memories of growing up listening to BSB! The worst part was them starting an hour late. Great sound and amazing light show!
