Backstreet Boys on Tour
The pitch-perfect harmonies. The matching outfits and dance moves. The dreamy personas. When they set foot in an arena, the Backstreet Boys are absolutely in their element, belting out a massive catalog of original hits to an outsized audience that screams back every word. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson have been at it for decades, but even after setting the blueprint for acts like One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer, their 1993-formed group remains the best-selling boy band of all time. And unlike so many others (including their former direct competition, *NSYNC), Backstreet Boys never quit. They kept making records â adapting their increasingly adult sound to an ever-shifting pop landscape â and kept upping the performance stakes too, taking their NKOTBSB supergroup (with New Kids on the Block) on the road in 2011, and holding down a two-year residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas starting in 2017. Their DNA World Tour celebrates their rich history of swooning ballads and get-up-and-dance jams (and yet another No. 1 album in 2019's DNA).
Backstreet Boys in Concert
Despite becoming more or less a five-headed pop machine, the Backstreet Boys' origins were pretty organic. Cousins Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell came up singing in church choirs and at festivals in Lexington, Kentucky, while the other three bonded over their shared love for Prince and old-school R&B after meeting at various acting auditions around Orlando. They came together under the guidance of teen-pop guru Lou Pearlman and emerged in the mid-1990s as radio-smashing global sensations â the quintessential boy band yearning over heartfelt hits like "I Want It That Way" and powering parties with upbeat bops like "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)." Their first two U.S. albums â 1997's Backstreet Boys and 1999's Millennium â also marked the arrival of Swedish superproducer Max Martin, who helped forge a shiny new sound that combined bubblegum pop, classic R&B, hip-hop swing and dance production. The Backstreet Boys' astounding longevity owes as much to maintaining this baseline formula as it does to their ability to pull modern sounds and grown-man themes into the gleaming pop universe they created way back when.

The concert was awesome.. when it finally started. 75 minutes late.. it was supposed to start at 7:30 pm and it finally started at 7:45 pm there was no notice about the lchange of time. Other than that it was good.
Great show, (except for getting covid 3 fays after this) amazing energy, surprisingly new and fresh (for songs that came out 20ish years ago.) I've been to every concert that they've had in Winnipeg

The guys were on. From the start of the concert, through the finally, it was awesome. I was covered in streamers, at the end. I looked like a blue and white mummy. I'm so very thankful that BSB came to OKC. I had to drive over 5 miles both ways. It was worth it!!! BSB ALWAYS and FOREVER!!! đ
I was a fan of the Backstreet Boys when I was a young child, so, when I found out they were coming to OKC in 2020, I bought tickets immediately! Then...COVID hit. And the show was postponed TWICE. I was disappointed, but I'm a true fan, so I held on to my tickets. IT. DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT. The show and the Backstreet Boys were absolutely amazing! They started over an hour late, which was a real bummer, but they made it up by singing, dancing, and entertaining for two hours straight! I'm half of their age, and I don't think I'd have the energy to do everything they did! Overall, it was the best concert I have ever been to, and I would go again and again if I could!
The show itself was fantastic, but the only really frustrating part was the start time. The ticket said it started at 7:30 but there was not an opening act, and they didn't start until after 8:30. It was very frustrating to sit and wait that long when they could have easily adjusted the time on the ticket. The show itself was postponed twice due to COVID, there's no reason they couldn't have updated the time
This concert was a bucket list show for me. I truly enjoyed myself and sand at the top of my lungs. I felt like a teenager again. They did 2 1/2 hours straight I loved the show.
Felt rushed no opening act or reason why concert was way shorter than 2019 and yeah it was last concert on this tour. It wasn't worth saving for so long
From beginning to end it beat all my expectations! Best time of my life and I will never forget it.
BSBâs still got it going on! They really know how to put on a show!! I truly never get tired of seeing them live. They are so interactive with the fans, and you can tell how much we really mean to them. Love them so much!!
The opening act canceled and there was no announcement made so we all waited an hour and a half after "showtime" before anyone came on stage.
Absolute AMAZING experience! Iâve waited more than 20 years to have the opportunity to see BSB in concert and it was everything I dreamed it would be and more! Outstanding show, will definitely see them again when the opportunity comes around again!
The show itselfâŚ. AMAZING! The only thing is that when we were checking in to enter the Paycom Center, we couldnât scan our ticket barcodes through the app. It kept thinking it was just a screenshot of the ticket. We were only able to use the tickets through our emails. The Tickemaster App needs to work on that. No sense in downloading the app if itâs not going to work.
Great show. Played all of their hits. Security was super slow because there were only 5 metal detectors being used.
Best night ever!!! I had so much fun. Ive been waiting since i was a teenager to see the backstreet boys, they put on such a great show!
I enjoyed it so muchâŚ.reminiscing those days when I was young and still excited to see them. I will definitely watch it again if they have another one in Oklahoma.
Even though the crowd and walk through the crowd and standing in lines for drinks took forever. It was still a great experience. Even though the concert didnt start on time it was still an amazing show. I would definitely repeat going to another concert there for sure.
The band was amazing and gave a great show. The balance in the music and vocals was perfect. The venue was awesome, I love that itâs close to a number of hotels and other things to do downtown before you go to an event. The only suggestions I would made to the venue itself would be to have wider aisles between the seating and lights on the sides of the steps, slightly larger seats, lit numbers or letters for the rows and sections that can be dimmed in certain events but still visible. The employees were courteous and efficient in serving and helping find our seats. I love this location. It was fantastic experience.
It was amazing up until the point that I accidentally hurt my calf muscle: anyways, I missed out on 3/4 of the show.
The show was amazing. It was so good I had to buy a last minute ticket to another show before the North American tour ended. The guys sound and look incredible and have put a ton of work into this tour for the fans. They all have the same endearing personalities we fell in love with but now they are seasoned. They are well trained and full of energy. You can see the bond they share. The chemistry, the visuals, and all the nostalgia of early 2000s made this my favorite show of the year. I canât wait to see what they do next.
