    We had a blast

    by Rochelle K. on 3/27/24

I took my daughter and her friends to this and it was like a baby rave. Lights and bubbles and music the whole time! What more could a mom want!

    Wonderful Experience

I took the kids to see this production today in Springfield and they had such a wonderful time, everything from the character costumes to the music was top notch! Can’t recommend it enough!

    I expected better…

    by Tee C. on 3/16/24

For this to be “ Baby Shark” I expected better production! It was literally people, holding the stuffed fish in front of them! Not full costumes. Then the sound quality was poor. My child kept asking “what are they saying”. Next the storyline was very complicated for 1-5 year olds to follow. My child was uninterested looking around to see what others were doing during the times they weren’t singing! Lastly they only sang the Baby Shark song at the end for about 1 minute. All in all it was a waste of my hard earned money and I will never go back to one of their productions!

3 year old had a blast!

    by Brittany R. on 3/14/24

My three year old daughter is autistic and has a very limited vocabulary but she knows the Baby Shark song all the way through so when we brought her to see the show she had a blast. We did the meet and greet with Baby Shark before the show and it was a nice experience. they took quite a few photos for us and all of the staff were really nice. The show itself was based more on the Nickelodeon show and less on the actual Pinkfong songs so be warned that the characters are different. No Mama, Daddy, Grandma or Grandpa Shark. It had a cute and smiple story that didn’t really matter if you followed. The songs were AMAZING quality. Silly and fun lyrics but they sounded great! There were a couple costume malfunctions but the actors were so professional that if I hadn’t accidentally been looking, I wouldn’t have never known. There is also a fifteen minute intermission halfway through. My kid was happy eating popcorn and drinking water while we waited but that varies kid to kid of course. All the merchandise is super expensive for what it is but it’s like any other concert. You’re paying for the convenience and exclusivity of the items.

    I don’t know

by Crissi on 3/13/24Adler Theatre - Davenport

The costumes, and props were pretty cool. I’m not a fan of baby shark, although my one year old is. 40 bucks for a bubble wand.

    Fine For What It Was

by Elise on 3/11/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

It was fine and my daughter had fun but for the price of the tickets, I was expecting a little more. I think there should have been less of a story line and just more singing and bigger dance productions. It was hard to follow the story line due to distractions (lots of kids). I felt the dance numbers were great whenever they had the actual dancers come out not just the main characters with the characters strapped to the front of them.

    Stop the bubbles!

by Rose on 3/10/24Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

It was a cute show, but very disruptive to have toddlers everywhere shooting bubbles at your head. Hard to even breathe. Had to change seats twice. They shouldn't be sold in a show like that with no controls.

    Too loud

by SadSharkDooDooDoo on 3/10/24Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

For a kids show, it honestly seemed way too loud. I’m sure the show would have a been a good show, but my daughter was so upset with the volume that we had to leave after a few minutes. We were not the only ones, dozens of other children started crying and had to be ushered out by their parents as well.

3 YO was not a fan after 15 min break

by Vonci on 3/10/24Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

Our three year old enjoyed the start of the show a bit but that was about it. He kept asking about the other shark characters such as Mama & Dada , Grandma and Grandpa shark. I would suggest doing without the break and it was definitely longer than the 15 minutes because we went to the restroom and waited in line, which we got out of and by the time the show started back up our toddler was ready to leave. He wasn’t having it and from the looks of it many kids were ready to leave after the half time period. I didn’t even know some of the characters in the show and I think it confused some of the kids, I would not suggest this play to anyone in the future. I wish I also waited to purchase tickets the day of the show because I paid a lot more for 5 people in total and the day of those same tickets were 50% less to fill the theatre for attendance reasons and we received a parking ticket of $30.00 of no fault of the show of course. Just overall it wasn’t a fun experience and it was my sons first theatre event and I won’t be attending another one in the near future because their attention span is not made out for this and it’s just a waste of money. One hour with no breaks I can see it work but when you include breaks so you can sell some promotional items and then it goes longer than announced, it didn’t make it fun for the littles anymore. I seen annoyed kids waiting in large lines so their parents could get things during the break as well, I think it would have went much better without it.

    Expected More

by Starla on 3/9/24Stifel Theatre - St. Louis

While my son loved Baby Shark and the song there is no point in a story line with little kids. Just song and dances would have been good enough. Disappointed and definitely expected more.

    Good Show

by JJ on 3/5/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

Honestly, I don’t do reviews on anything, but I have to do a review on the Baby Shark Broadwave Tour. I took my son to see in Kansas City, MO at the Music Hall. My son had a blast seeing all the characters, laughing, dancing and just being silly. I love to see him enjoying himself and the show. I just wish I had bought seats that were a little closer so we can see them up close in person.

    Kids got bored

by Worst ever on 3/5/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

First off tickets were 269. for 2 adults and 2 kids. The show was only an hour long. However it was so bad we left early. The show is just people standing behind puppets. They dance and sing but there was no imagination put into the writing or choreography of this show. Strongly do not suggest anyone go.

I'm glad the kids enjoyed themselves

by Grandma Shark on 3/5/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

I had no idea what the storyline was. Could not understand most all words. The only words I heard was "I'm Incredible"other than that I was lost. I am only 59 and run my own business so I am fully aware what is going on around me usually. But the kids where entertained so I can be happy with that. Thank you.

    Bad Baby Shark

by Ro on 3/5/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

Don’t waste your money on this show! I paid $100 each for 5 tickets. They didn’t even sing the whole baby shark song. It was awful!

    Not good. Not bad.

by Greg on 3/5/24Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas City

The positives of this was the venue they chose to have it at. Also that only 500/3000 tickets were sold so plenty of room for kids to roam and be able to see. Negatives would be that instead of costumes they were more like puppets where you saw the puppeteers faces the whole time. I think the demographic for baby shark would be 1-6 years old. They did more of a story that none of the kids would follow along with and most kids would just get bored during it. I would scratch out about 75% of the talking stories and just make it more songs. Also, no mommy, daddy, grandma, and grandpa shark. Really the only time my daughter truly partook in the event is at the end with the “doo doo” song but even that wasn’t the full song. Overall buy the cheap tickets. Get your kid the $35 bubble blower and wait for the 2 mins at the end for the kiddos to get into it.

    For older kids

by LBH on 3/2/24Peoria Civic Center - Peoria

This show is not meant for children younger than 5. They didn’t play the baby shark song until the end and 90% of the crowd were littles. You could tell they weren’t interested or attention span in the story. Honestly they could have had an hour of the song on a loop and then the crowd would have been thrilled.

Overpriced and sub par at best.

by Crp1987 on 3/1/24Peoria Civic Center - Peoria

What really struck me as interesting was that the cast of sharks was not even in costume as a shark they were just holding up giant stuffed animals that were shaped like the baby shark crew. The starfish was in a actual costume but not that baby shark characters. The concessions were extremely overpriced for example a cup just a plastic cup under 30 Oz not filled was $15 with the baby shark logo on it a bubble wand that lit up was $30 or $35 I can't remember and concessions only accepted card however the merchandise table was able to accept cash. this caused a problem for me. Maybe they had this on the website that the concessions were card only but I was not aware of this and my card did not work for some reason but I was able to pay a gentleman to buy popcorn using his card in exchange for cash. The popcorn was $10 and a bottle of water was $6. There were barely any seats filled but none of the staff allowed anybody to get closer to the stage for $90 I got to sit in nose bleed seats while a majority of the theater was not full. They did no pat downs and it smelled like weed in the theater as well, kind of crazy that every event I've been to at the Civic center I've gotten pat down but not this event. I also found it interesting that none of the emails I received nor any of the event pages on social media stated that the doors opened at 5:00 but overall in this review I would just like to make it clear that I was unsatisfied and over charged for an event that I think that me and my family could go put on a lot better hell I could probably even sew a baby shark costume that would have rivaled the ones that they had up there ! I would really never take my kid to a live show again put on by these same people or production company. I hope that they improve or maybe just stop touring best of luck to them and lesson learned.
