Let’s start with the parking. When I purchased these tickets on my app, Ticketmaster offered an option to pay for parking with my ticket purchase for $10. I thought that was so convenient and figured they would probably charge double that the night of the event. Boy did I learn the hard way! I will never pre-purchase parking with Ticketmaster again. Where we parked was a 9 minute walk up a pretty steep hill to get to the Auditorium. I saw so many closer spaces along the way. It was freezing cold that night and I was LIVID. The parking lot we used was only about 1/4 full, which I guess should have been a red flag for me. Now on to the venue. The auditorium is a part of Howard University and I think it is important to mention that when referring to the location. It’s should be in parentheses or something next to it because I had no clue the venue was located on a college campus. When I googled it, it kept saying it would be closed by the time I got there which was very vacation confusing. The seating was extremely uncomfortable. My knees are sore from being pressed up against the chair in front of me.
