About

Drawing comparisons to André 3000 for his eccentricity and versatility as a rapper, singer, writer and producer, B.o.B. is a six-time Grammy nominee set to release his third album Underground Luxury in 2013. Born Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr. in Decatur, Georgia in 1988, he played trumpet and other instruments in grade school, later receiving a keyboard from his parents that he began producing beats on. By the time he was in high school, he had already secured management and sold his first beat at the age of 15. He signed to Atlantic and its imprint Rebel Rock in 2007, and released six mixtapes and two EPs before putting out his debut studio album The Adventures of Bobby Ray in April 2010, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard chart. Three of its six singles, including "Nothin’ on You" with Bruno Mars, "Airplane" feat. Hayley Williams, and "Magic" with Rivers Cuomo were top ten U.S. hits. He also won a Soul Train Music Award and Teen Choice Award in 2010. B.o.B’s second album Strange Clouds was released in May 2012, spawning three platinum-selling singles "So Good", "Both of Us" with Taylor Swift, and the title track feat. Lil Wayne, and again reaching No. 1 on the charts. B.o.B has played concerts for ticket buyers across the globe, and toured with A$AP Rocky, Cee Lo, Rihanna and Wiz Khalifa.

Awesome, but wish MikeP had played longer

by StephanylovesMikeP on 12/6/10Murat Theatre at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

The show was really good and I liked the variety, however, I wish that Mike Posner had performed longer because he is my favorite of the 4 bands. They were all great though. The transition time between artists seemed really long compared to other concerts i've been to also.

    Great concert, but....

by CoolMomToOne on 12/6/10Murat Theatre at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

All four acts were very good, with Michael Posner and B.o.B. being the best. However, in between the bands, the delays were about 30 minutes or more each, which turned into a very late evening. With this concert drawing many elementary, middle-school, and high-school aged kids -- on a school night, there should have been more efficiency between the acts. On top of the delays, the entire concert started over an hour late - close to 7:30, so we did not get home till after 11:30. Made for a tough day at school Friday, and my son and his buddies caught colds from the lack of sleep. Also, there were a number of kids who were standing on their seats during some acts, making it very hard for everyone else to see, and security did not seem to notice. It made concert enjoyment a challenge. At a small venue like the Murat, I was disappointed in the inefficiency of set-up from one band to the next, and also in the seeming lack of crowd monitoring so that all could enjoy the show.

    SANTA SLAM WAS A BLAST

by og40 on 12/6/10Murat Theatre at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

I bought my ticket off ticketmaster even though people and other websites were saying the show was sold out! It was about $30-$40 bucks, but the seat was center stage, 4 rows back. 100.9 did a great job, they were fun and energetic. Cody Simpson, Mike Posner, and B.o.B. took the show! They had fun with the crowd and it was a great time. At times the show didn't seem to be on time and there seemed to be a lot of down time between performances. That was the only let down.

It started an hour late (with no explanation as to why) and the speakers were so staticky and fuzzy that you couldn't even make out what the singers were saying.
