Length of show was too brief which was a concern considering the ticket prices. Maybe another opening act would have helped. A lot of new material was great. Overall, a good show but probably would have been better off with cheaper tickets up in the balcony. Venue is terrific.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Aziz Doesn't Disappoint
by NCaf on 11/8/10Beacon Theatre - New YorkGoing into the show as a fan of Aziz I was nervous it would be filled with recycled jokes from previous Comedy Central specials I had seen. Although the comedy was very much similar, Aziz nailed it in every way shape or form. I think it is particularly his delivery that sets him apart. Not to be overlooked was the opening act, Hanibal Buress. He was great!
Rating: 4 out of 5 Great, experimental sophomore effort
by Nedrock333 on 11/8/10Beacon Theatre - New YorkBeacon Theatre is beautiful. Absolutely incredible to see. And I think Aziz did a great job. His sophomore effort was a little bit more experimental. And I liked it. If You like Aziz you will like this, but he certainly takes more chances this time around.
Rating: 1 out of 5 DID I MISS SOMETHING??
by NYScott on 11/8/10Beacon Theatre - New YorkWe walked out halfway through the show; this guy wasn't the least bit funny. Sadly, we met a few people on the way out who felt the same way. Aziz - learn how to write a joke.
Rating: 2 out of 5 juvenile
by unfunny on 11/8/10Beacon Theatre - New YorkI am probably the one to blame...I had ordered his dvd about 10 months ago for my wife who really enjoys him and was disappointed with him then. I had just hoped that his stand up dvd was from his time ascending up the popularity charts and that with his new found success, he would have graduated to a more sophisticated performance, or at least a new wardrobe. He came out on stage wearing the same jacket and performed more or less the same routine. My wife was not impressed and I was disappointed. The only saving grace was the comedian that warmed up the audience, Hannibal Burris. The guy was fantastic.

by CJewels on 10/25/10The Fillmore - San FranciscoI would HIGHLY recommend going to this show! Aziz is outrageously funny and this was the best stand-up I've been to. Aziz's material is fresh and hilarious and we were laughing the entire show. I am absolutely going to see him again on his next tour!

Rating: 4 out of 5 Aziz Ansari was Hilar!
by Tangible214 on 10/24/10The Fillmore - San FranciscoThe Aziz Ansari show was non-stop hilarious. Aziz has all new material and didn't repeat any old material from his Special on Comedy Central. He engaged the crowd and really keeps the energy going. I was recommend checking him out if you get a chance too. His opening act Dan Levy was pretty funny too. All around good show.
